This isn't an isolated issue, back in early October a bunch of release dates got changed (Paradron Medics, ER wave 3 deluxes, etc) to later in that week; they didn't arrive by then and the dates were changed back. It's likely that the same thing is happening here.
Yup, the Paradron set, and Fasttrack was bumped way up, and then the day before each should have shipped they got pushed back. Fasttrack not so much as I've received him but the Paradron pack isn't scheduled to ship till next month.

Target?

The Autobot clones were Amazon, Target got the Decepticons. If Amazon is actually shipping out the Autobot Clones then that means they passed up the Paradon Medics set as the first one to ship.
Yeah, both the Autobot Clones and the Paradron were scheduled to ship around December 3rd. Then out of nowhere, the Clones got bumped up and I knew they were shipping as I got charged. I knew Kingdom Prime wasn't because I hadn't been charged. I still found it funny they waited till the estimated day of delivery to say it ain't coming lol.

Was your Core Prime order supposed to be coming from Target?

Ah, gotcha. Core Prime was coming from Amazon. Two, maybe three, weeks ago Amazon bumped the shipping date way up because he was scheduled for Feb 2021 like most of the other Kingdom figures.

Ok interesting. I have Cheetor coming from Target and it says Jan, Primal coming from BBTS says Feb and Vertebreak coming from BBTS says March! I just pre-ordered Vertebreak this week, maybe that has something to do with it..?

I noticed that the different retailers have different release dates for the same figures. Amazon has Cheetor and Primal for Feb 3rd and Target has Vertebreak as Jan 4th - 7th.

I'm wondering if any of these dates from any retailer is trustworthy. This is my first time ever pre-ordering figures so I don't know what to expect, but hearing about the ER dates changing nilly-willy casts a shadow of doubt. Is this kind of thing typical or is this all COVIDial?

Definitely covid-19 related. I've done plenty of pre-ordering in the past, and usually things were pretty solid on the estimated shipping dates, with probably about 90% of them coming on time, or even a little early. With covid-19 it seems like easily 50% (or more) are getting delayed in some form.

Scorponok is actually confirmed already. It's Terrorsaur, Taranntulas and Inferno (ant) that we need to hear some news about.

Bugger!

Those were the three I most excited for.
You know, as a kid I never made the connection between the G1 Sideswipe toy my brother passed down to me and the characters in the Beast Wars show on TV, until Michael Bay had Sideswipe as a Corvette.

I wouldn't get your hopes down just yet, as a while back CyberCookieReports on instagram reported that those three would be included in three packs, with each one being paired with an autobot and a (potentially maximal) fossilizer. The leaks are decently old but I still believe they are credible, as CyberCookie has not deconfirmed them that I saw.

iirc CyberCookie is a notorious fake leaker. They take information from actual leaks, dress it up differently, and then report on it. I believe they did plenty of fake leaks during ER right after the Quintesson reveal using the Listings that leaked Greasepit and Hothouse. I believe they've also made a recent fake leak about the long-deconfirmed "Mutant Rodimus".

CyberCookie didn't, but Appolux, Pixelmaster, and Phamduc all said his claims were incorrect the second they "leaked". Especially as one of the "3 packs" included Road Rage who we now know from I believe Phamduc is in Selects, not Kingdom proper

Ok, thanks for correcting me. I still believe that we are at least getting tarantulas and terrorsaur though, as tarantulus can be remolded from blackarachnia and terrorsaur from airrazor. Maybe gen selects? I just dont think hasbro would leave them out.

Looking ahead a bit. I know most folks are surmising that Slammer will be a white repaint of Warpath, which makes sense. Initially at first I was upset at the prospect of this, preferring a white repaint of the Brunt Mold to be an additional Weaponzier, but then I got to thinking...

T30/Legends Metroplex has a Legion Scale Scamper, and in Siege he got a Deluxe Weaponizer in Sixgun.

TR/Legends Trypticon already has a Deluxe Weaponizer in Brunt, and a Deluxe Car with Full-Tilt.

So Slammer being a deluxe transformer is actually not a bad choice at all, if made from Warpath. Making it a Titan Master would improve symmetry, but that's probably not going to happen, and is next to impossible.

I know some people speculated that is how Warden would go out, but I'm glad we are getting something new (The Ark), before starting to repeat. Plus there are a few more Titans that deserve their due before we go back to Metroplex, hopefully another 3-5 years at least.

One leak said Slammer is an all new Deluxe mold, but couldn't tell if it was a Weaponizer or not.

I think what we need now is a new Scamper.

I'd defintely be up for an all new mold for Slammer (Weaponizer would be great, but if not, still good). Also a legends (core class) Scamper would be nice, not sure how much different it could be from the Legion one that came with T30 Metroplex, but I'd be interested to see it.

oh right, I forget he was part of the old style size class prior to 2013

The end of Legends as we knew them
Following the 2010 Transformers line's Reveal the Shield subline imprint, Hasbro decided to move the Legends size class into a different direction, which ultimately created a rather confusing "fork": With 2011's Dark of the Moon line, the former Legends price point was absorbed into the new Cyberverse play pattern and renamed into "Legion Class", which was subsequently also used under the Transformers: Prime line and its Beast Hunters subline imprint. Confusingly, the name "Legends Class" was still used concurrently, both for the Generations "GDO" line-up mentioned above (which featured redecos of figures originally released under the Reveal the Shield banner, with retooled hands and new weapons based on the 3mm standard established by the Cyberverse play pattern), and around the same time also for the "market six" (read: "Dollar stores") exclusive assortment of rebranded and barely redecoed older figures listed further above, which later featured running changes for two figures reflecting the changes from the "GDO" redecos. With the discontinuation of the Cyberverse play pattern, the name "Legion Class" was used for exclusive redecos of older toys under the Age of Extinction and 2014 Transformers lines and then also used for new sculpts under the 2015 Robots in Disguise line, thereby effectively replacing "Legends Class" as the name for this size class.

Meanwhile, by the end of 2012, the name "Legends Class" was repurposed, now referring to a new price point of toys released under the Generations line that were sold as two-packs during the first two years. While those figures varied in size, they were all distinctively different from all the previous "Legends Class" toys. In addition, they have their own series numbering within the Generations line that is entirely separate from the ongoing numbering system across multiple lines for the figures in this article. For those "Legends Class" figures, see the main article:

The original Legends class had already been renamed "Legion class" as of 2011's Cyberverse subline of DOTM. They wouldn't use the name "Legends" on a T30 figure if it wasn't part of that new size class.

I agree. Scamper is the odd one out, being the only cityformer companion not at the Deluxe Class scale. Besides, the Legends Class Scamper that came with Thrilling 30 Metroplex didn't look all that much like G1 Scamper from the original toyline or the Sunbow cartoon, especially in its coloration.

Question: is there a precedent for a Netflix figure having significant differences compared to the same character's figure in Seige / Earthrise / whatever? I'm wondering if we have a guess for how different this supposed Netflix Cheetor could be. If he's just a recolor then it might not be that interesting but if he would actually have a rifle then that changes the game, ya know? Anybody got any thoughts on this?
