Correct, although the OP might have been confusing Slammer with Snapper .

The leaker who first talked about Slammer originally spoke of him as a Warpath "partial," but now says that he's seemingly a brand new mold with Weaponizer functionality

Isn't there a new BW character that's getting a figure, a female predacon with a turtle alt mode? Or am I just way off?

That is the new character made up for the IDW comics, no toy has been announced as far as I am aware.

You were probably thinking of Snapper, the snapping turtle Predacon from the Beast Wars toyline. The new female Predacon from the comics is called "Skold". Slammer is more than likely a white repaint of Warpath based on the tank that came with G1 Metroplex.

That would be interesting considering there is already a Tank weaponizer (Brunt). Hasbro wouldn't go to the trouble of making a new mold, unless they had intended multiple uses for it...

I'm not really excited for any of the remaining Kingdom, maybe Pipes a lil bit. G2 repaints of stuff in Selects for sure. Tigatron might have made it, if Cheetor was any good. Hope kingdom gets as long of a run as it can though before onto the next thing (& I'm okay if the next things not for me, a lot of backtracking of figures on my wants list).

Slammers gonna depend on his looks otherwise I'll go for cyberverse jetfire/tank.

Surprisingly, Tigatron is a Voyager instead of a Deluxe, so it will be a new mold, not a remold of Cheetor.

3 Weaponizer-type molds in each line... I'm very skeptical about a fourth. Then there's the fact a Brunt redeco as Metrotank, originally a redeco of Slammer, appeared in one of the mangas, so grasping at straws if anything else.

Thanks to Seibertronians D-Maximal_Primal and aronjlove, we have word that T-Wrecks, the Maximal repaint of Beast Megatron, is finally showing up on Target's website! While we've known he's coming for some time, he still hasn't been officially revealed by Hasbro. Perhaps an official reveal is just around the corner? The listing currently shows the big bot as "Coming Soon", though a little more digging into the listing reveals that RedCard holders get early access to preorder through 24 July, and that all guests (not just RedCard holders) will be able to order him on July 25th.



That's great news, considering a previous figure, Red Wing, could only be ordered via RedCard access and was never available to order by non-RedCard holders (except for a brief glitch that allowed anyone to order him).

I think it's more likely that Slammer will be a redeco of Warpath, probably with a new head. Treds is the only other easy use of the mold that I can think of, but he's likely to be a Selects figure, if at all. The only thing G1 Slammer ever transformed into besides its tank mode was a tower in Metroplex's city mode, so he doesn't really have any history as a Weaponizer style figure.

I dunno, the leaks were pretty specific. The guy in question leaked Slammer before the Walmart listing (I think he got to look at the instructions), and specifically called out his status as a Weaponizer and the fact that he had some sort of cool chainsaw/shield weapon. In particular:

Re - Slammer: I thought the same [reference to him potentially being a Warpath retool] til I saw his engineering prototype pics, he looks very different almost more like airwave.

I'm picking him up for his cool chainsaw tank tread shield weapon alone.

Slammer:
Not super interested in this one, but he looks much more accurate than I expected. Appears to be almost completely a new mold. No obvious signs of shared engineering with Warpath, apart from the fact they both have treads and are tanks.

Neither did any of the Weaponizers/Modulators except for Sixgun

So has anyone with a Redcard actually been able to figure out how to order? I have one, but can't seem to find a way to pre-order.

I have a RedCard, but he's not available for me to pre-order, even when I'm logged in. I think it's just a case of the listing being put up, but not yet active.

Understandable as there is no Target in the UK. This is Good News for everyone there. Hopefully Pulse U.S. will follow suit under their "partners" arrangement where they have offered limited amounts of retailers exclusives previously to make them a little easier to obtain.
