@Razorbeast88 and I are with you on that.

Emerje wrote:Rogue-Primal wrote:Based on the ammount of figures revealed does anyone think they will make a Kingdom Beast Wars Silverbolt in this line?
There's been some speculation that he might be Airrazor's retool for a potential Magnaboss down the road since she has those strange square holes on her back that don't seem to serve a purpose. She also has all those extra joints in her wings that don't have a purpose other than letting her fold her wings forward and she doesn't even use all of them for that.
ZeroWolf wrote:Hmm could be a case of completing Magnaboss over a couple of years then, big question is really how they could manage it for Tripedacus
I really don't think that they didn't have a choice there if they were going to have the separate cab robot in the first place.Gauntlet101010 wrote:G1 Ultra Magnus cannot be done at the Leader price point in this day and age, without compromises of some sort.
Sure, but I don't think having the arms jutting out like that was absolutely necessary either.
I think they would, I think hands small enough to fold into the forearms without interfering with the armor connector ports would look really shrimpy in his armored mode. On top of that, they'd give Mags a moderate case of Slag Hands Syndrome in that mode. What's Slag Hands Syndrome?Gauntlet101010 wrote:Nor do I think smaller hands would be as bad as you make them out to be.
I resent that remark. I've actually been brainstorming about this ever since SIEGE Magnus was revealed...Gauntlet101010 wrote:I mean, your own failure of imagination and the current design doesn't mean it's impossible.
I think they did the best that could be managed under the circumstances.Gauntlet101010 wrote:It just means that they didn't see the need to make the cab stand on it's own and, therefore, made a kinda crummy design.
I'm sorry for shouting...Gauntlet101010 wrote:Moreover, there's no need to shout and be rude. It's not going to convince me that they didn't fail in making a good standalone cab. Writing louder, longer posts sure isn't going to get your point across. It just makes you seem kinda obstinate.
I don't think it's great, but I think it's the best that they could have done under the circumstances and thus it's at least passable. It's not like, say, MPM Ironhide's feet, where there's no excuse.Gauntlet101010 wrote:Edit:
For the record, this is the design you're defending to the death here. It's not good.
In my opinion.
I think they did the best that could be managed under the circumstances.

Are you asking about the Kingdom version? (Since this is the Kingdom threadwilliam-james88 wrote:Which cab looks worse: The Magnus Cab or the POTP Optimus Prime cab?
Other "bad cabs" people have noted over the years are those of RoborMasters G1 Convoy, Classics "The Ultimate Battle" Optimus Prime, and Hybrid Style G1 Convoy.Gauntlet101010 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Which cab looks worse: The Magnus Cab or the POTP Optimus Prime cab?

Wow, that's abysmal. It's like it has a cancerous growth on the back of it's truck mode! There really should be a "worst iteration of G1 Prime's cab" list.
So, it's a choice between to robot arms sticking out the back and robot feet poking out like feet from under a blanker that's too small. Or a massive pile of garbage that, while not looking like a defined robot, also doesn't look like a truck either.
I'd have to say Primes looks worse. I mean, at least Siege or Kingdom looks like a defined, solid vehicle. Not a convincing one. Even the legs aren't really solid. But it doesn't look like it's barely holding itself together either.
So, I guess there's that!

Wait wait wait...aren't those probably just the pegs for her weapons when they aren't in use in robot mode?

While not as famous, Guiledart got a Styracosaurus retool in Killer Punch (who was basically a half-zombie anyways)
Though I wouldn't doubt that Hasbro has a Triceratops Selects pretool on the way.

Perhaps with a more flat daisy yellow instead of the more golden yellow on the Netflix version?
This is mostly wishful thinking on my part because the window of opportunity to get Netflix Bumblebee for a reasonable price is starting to close and I still don't have one.
All of the Deluxes are already known. Bee is not among them. Arcee and Wheeljack are the only Deluxes getting rereleased.sol magnus wrote:Munkky wrote:I've been thinking, seeing as a lot of the character art on the Kingdom poster showing the Autobots and Maximals jumping into action together is the same artwork used on the front of each toy's packaging, and Bumblebee is there, how likely would it be for a repaint of Deluxe Bumblebee to be an exclusive toy in Kingdom? I think 'Bee is a lock for wave 3 or 4.
