I was pleasantly surprise by Laserbeak. He was one of the more interesting characters.
I agree i was very happy to see him and how he could change into a autobot without scanning anything.

Decepticon_Vandal wrote:I was disappointed with every Decepticon save for Laserbeak in this film. Shockwave, the most verbose of the Decepticons, gets one word of dialogue. Shot in head, killed. Soundwave, turns into a Mercedes, not so disappointing in his performance. Shot in head, killed. Starscream, barely seen, embarrassingly slain by humans. Head asplode, killed. Megatron is turned into a sulking, self-pitying emo hobo. Decapitated, killed.
Aside from barely being on-screen at all, all of them went down too easy, too quickly, and all from inglorious, fatal head-wounds eliminating any chance of their return in the supposed 4th installment.

I loved his intro into the movie too! and agree with you on the fact that I am very unhappy on the whole "you'll shoot your eye out" thing like really, these are alien robots that can transform yet a couple rounds to the eye and your done just kind of ruined it for me

I hated how Soundwave was portrayed! I especially disliked the voice they used for him. But really, I just don't think he looked anything like Soundwave.

That was Frank Welker doing Soundwave's voice, the orginal voice. That was the only acceptable quality of his character in these movies.

Shockwave jumps out at Chernobyl, all set to fight Optimus.
Me: Oh boy, this is going to be gr-- where'd he go?
*over an hour later*
Me: OK, we're in Chicago, gotta be near the end. Where the heck is Shocky?
Shockwave finally reappears, pops up here and there, does little, says nothing, killed without a fight.
Me: Well, that was a waste.
