Just when you thought you were safe from alliteration...

The highly anticipated sequel to January's One Week War is here!

The One Weekend War: Wingz' Wevenge!

This time, it's personal.

We aren't gonna screw around with anymore build-up than that so I hope you enjoyed it. :lol:

This is a pop-up event so everything is gonna happen fast.

- Sign ups start now, in this thread.
- Post a link to your team. edit your claims into that post as we go.
- Once you sign up every character on your team is a legal target.
- You get 1 point for every point of damage that you inflict/repair on a legal target. (we are NOT counting overkills or over-repairs, verifying this is already gonna be work enough)
- There is a 20 point bonus for every kill you get on a legal target on top of the damage points. (example: "Steelsong does 10 Damage to Bun-Bun, Bun-Bun goes into Stasis Lock" Wingz would get 30 points for that)
- Here is an example of the bare minimum we'd like to see in a claim post:
Tracer hits Triton & Trailblaze. 158 points
**edit: Wingz being much nicer than I am is willing to let you get away with even less: Just a link and who you hit.**
- Even better would be:
Tracer hits Triton for 54 points, Trailblaze for 84 points +20 bonus. 158 Total
(yeah I know we're asking you to do math but it helps us with our double-check)
- If you really wanna do us (read Wingz since she's scoring it) a solid you'll break out each hit with timestamps.
Tracer hits Triton for 24 @ 0:31, 30 @ 0:43. Trailblaze for 22 @ 1:05, 30 @ 1:26, 26 @ 1:52, 6 @ 2:19 & SL+20. 158 Total
(we know not everybody has time for that but it sure would make verifying easier. Remember, you only get credit for points that are verified)

- War starts as soon as I wake up Saturday morning and pick a mission (usually between 6:00-8:00AM EST) or we may just pick a starting number beforehand. Either way the starting mission ID # will be clearly posted in this thread and edited into the title.
- War ends Sunday night when Wingz chooses a final mission. Again, it will be clearly posted and edited into the title (abuse that Mod power Wingz, give in to your dark side :twisted:

)

-Winners get bragging rights over the other side for the next 2 weeks and maybe something special for a stand out player or two (if we can think of something)

Yeah we know it's not what you're used to but we got shake some stuff up around here. Plus if you can manage this you'll be aces when the real event comes along in a couple weeks.

The only reason the Cons aren't up around 500 anymore is because there are so few of you to kill these days.
Better go back to all medics because the only chance your side has is to try and repair the massive damage we'll inflict on their delicate snowflake chassis.

Y'know, when I got home from Sonic last night, there was a rabbit just sitting in my driveway, it must have been a sign...

1. Athena scores 26 points on Dark Claw.

2. Anla'shok scores 100 points and a bonus twenty for SL'ing Disillusioned.

3. Mythseeker scores 39 off Bun-Bun.

4. Bumper hits Lio Convoy for 22 and Lilith for 19, totalling 41 points.

5. Voidhound SL's Malevolence for 100 points and the twenty point bonus - 120

6. Longarm brings down the law on Killerpunch for 100 points plus an SL bonus of 20, then does the same to Dark Rodimus for a total of 240 points for the match! (And a Shout-Out Of Awesomeness to SoL's Graverobber for the massive amount of healing done that allowed this to happen.)

7. Even in defeat, Bumper scores 97 points off Gremlatron

8. Voidhound scores 42 off Lilith and 49 off Lio Convoy

14. Mythseeker earns 93 pts from Trygon, plus a 20 pts SL Bonus, and 33 Pts from Tracer, along with another 20 pts bonus. Mission total: 166 pts.

15. Bumper earns 24 pts with a 20 point bonus for 47 total.

16. Anla'shok goes all out on StealSchlong for 100 pts, plus the 20 pt bonus!

17. Voidhound makes 33pts off Zergling and 48 pts off Kludge for a total of 81 points.

18. Athena takes 23 pts from Chumbucket. (and remind me to switch Red's salt and sugar containers or something for not taking part in this One Wild Weekend, willya?)

I thought about using "We are legion" but I'm more worried about offending Anonymous, which I know exists, than some fairy tale boogeyman for the foil-hat crowd.

I would love to do this but sadly I'm booked solid for this weekend (got a manuscript to finish and family commitments...sigh) oh well, at least I can't provide the automax side any points with my cannon fodder team.
