Weapons damage

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
What is the percent range for damage on weapons like what is 'light damage, and X damage so forth' 1%-x% and heavy damage ~20%.

I ask this because I seem to be hitting for nearly the same damage with my sword than the other guy using a defraction sword. (@ lvl 0). (as if it matter much at that lvl, silly RNG) but just in case, ...

I remember reading about this from some place but I can't find it anymore, if someone can redirect me that would be great.

Thanks

Here's the formula for weapon damage.

Weapon Damage
% Damage = RANDOM[minD~maxD]
x [1+(# of Str x 0.1)]
x [1.5-(# of End x 0.1)]
x [Amount of Armor]

Accuracy
([attacker's speed] - [defender's speed] + 16)/ 20

Weapon Ranges
Light = 1-5%
medium = 6-10%
heavy = 11-15%
very heavy = 16-20%
devastating = 21-25%
Incredible = >26%

The Diffraction Sword is Moderate to very heavy(6%-20% provided no strength or endurance is involved) while the Sword is Light to Heavy(1%-15%).

So seeing as how it could be a variety of things like opponents endurance or the RNG it can be questionable but seeing as how your level 0 it's probably just the RNG giving you a bad day. Hope I could be of help.

Here's the formula for weapon damage.

Yes!. This is what I was looking for.

So this means that without armor/endurance a:

Laser-Guided Sword wont hit for anything less or beyond 21-25% being Devastating
and
Adhesion Rifle wont hit for anything less or beyond 11-15% being heavy based only?

or does the % of damage being random still apply and still go below or beyond the scope of the weapons target range?

Weapon Damage
% Damage = RANDOM[minD~maxD]

so a Proton-Pack Rifle being Incredible base only can still hit for 1%?

and my sword for instance can hit beyond heavy damage of 11-15%. I say this because I sometimes hit for 20-23% with my sword; I have no strength, and the other guy has no strength (for armor) and no endurance, and I dont think he enter the battle damaged.

Sorry for the ramblings, I'm just looking forward to upgrading to something spiffy now that I have some hard earned energon to spend. Not that I have skill or firepower to support that kind of weapon at lvl 0 anyways. :D

-- oh yeah one more thing, will the weapons stockpile ever be restocked, or will the sold out weapons only be restocked by people owning the weapon resell it to the pile?
Thanks for the help

As far as I know the damage should be between 21-25% for the Laser-Guided Sword and the same also should apply for the Adhesion Rifle.
So a Proton-Pack Rifle being Incredible base only can still hit for 1%?

No it would hit for >26%, the RANDOM is where the weapon level like heavy or Incredible would go, so sorry for the confusion there.

My sword for instance can hit beyond heavy damage of 11-15%. I say this because I sometimes hit for 20-23% with my sword; I have no strength, and the other guy has no strength (for armor) and no endurance, and I dont think he enter the battle damaged.

Can't say for sure but it might be what you said about him entering the battle already damaged.

After you get to about 200,000 it might be better to try strength with Ram and covert back to Fire Power and Strafe at 400,000. I'm telling you this based on my own experience, but that's for the future and ultimately its up to you what path you will take but know we'll be here to help.

Will the weapons stockpile ever be restocked, or will the sold out weapons only be restocked by people owning the weapon resell it to the pile?
Thanks for the help
SM

No, unless we get a programmer, but if there is a specific weapon you want that's unavailable just keep checking back as eventually someone will sell one.

If there's anything else you want to know I'll be sure to help out anyway that I can.

Long live the Bots :BOT:
