In the last few days I thought that it would be great if Hasbro Gaming or just Hasbro and Activision would bring out an Disney Infinity like game based on the Transformers Universe, that would be cool or what do you think about that ?

Fantastic idea! The figures could come with codes to the game, and if you just like the toys, still a slam dunk, you could toss the code... I like the idea alot, and it would make business sense.

Or, perhaps, bundle game codes with existing figures to use that character in-game. Maybe even reissue existing figures for specific designs.

Because while this sounds promising, I'm really not a fan of static statues, and dislike Transformers that don't... you know, transform.

I have a better idea: Make a game that doesn't require people to pay extra to unlock characters. Wouldn't that be wild? You'd have the entire cast right out of the box.

Im more on board with the concept of getting codes with the existing figures, since I already collect them. I don't see an issue there. If you already collect the things then this would just be something cool to do with them, right? Besides, the game would probably be shortpacked with a few figures anyways, not like it'd be unplayable out of the box. And since there are so many transformers, you could just use the one you like anyways.

That's the problem: A few. The two games that use this model give you three to start with, out of a cast of dozens. It's like buying Super Smash Bros. and only getting Mario, Link, and Pikachu to play as.

If I pay for the full game, the least they could do is give me the full roster. One or two DLC characters here or there is fine, but the standard characters shouldn't form only a fifth of the cast. Probably why this is only marketed to kids, they don't know they're blowing their allowance on something other games give you for free. It's an extreme form of DLC, which is itself already fairly controversial. And it's not going to catch on.

Oh, and please do tell me "Don't like, don't buy." Because then I can retort with "That's why it hasn't caught on."
