Simple, he was repacked with Rhinox and that is the most recent wave case before Rhinox/Tigatron just started showing up. As for Amazon, they are weird with repacks, for some they never get a second run, and for other they seem to get it much later. I believe they get solid cases instead of wave assortments, so that might be part of the equation.

Oh, I know, but that came out over the summer so it's surprising to suddenly see it everywhere in late November. Especially when Cyclonus was so popular and so many people called Rhinox a dud.

I suspect some retailers were holding back stock to make sure they had something for the shelves this month.

More likely old shipments finally came in. And people want Rhinox even if he's a dud, just like deluxe Arcee still sold.

But Cyclonus will sell. The thing I anticipate is a sea of Rhinoxes layer because he's also repacked in wave 4.

A Target near me joined the massive endcap of Leaders Christmas stock. The also had a statue Megs hiding behind a couple statue Optimuses.

Man, I wish I had seen that sort of display at Target this week. I wanted to use my 25% off Circle coupon on Grindor, but the only leaders in the store were 4 Kingdom Megatrons. There wasn't an endcap that wasn't packed with something already.

Been a while I posted here but the thrift stores were not great. BUT today was different. My local place was FILLED to the brim with toys. Not great toys, mind you, but lots of stuff. And among them, something you don't see every day (or decade). You'll see it...

Still, a great find, can't remember that last time I found a G1 toy in a thrift store that wasn't a tiny toy.

That's an amazing find. I wonder how the kid that had it wore down the stickers like that but didn't destroy the paint on the windshield?

I'm personally surprised the stickers still look as good as they do. Most of the G1s I ever find these days that are not in collectors' hands have their stickers peeled off.

Okay fans so I managed to find at one of my local Walmarts Dreadwing and Shadow Striker. I hope the next gimmick is on the horizon because the whole "EvoFusion" crap is just that....crap!

Local salvage store got in all of their Christmas stock and had a surprising number of Transformers, some of which were also surprising.

They had a few Velocitron figures, though they seemed to be using scalper prices as the base price for Crasher and Shadowstrip. It's a salvage store so the price is based on wherever they got them from, sometimes it's comic shops and other times it's Amazon sellers.




These were decent prices, they also had a few SS Ravages for $5.


This guy has a purple sticker because he's an extra 40% off.


They had tons of these, it looks like it's all Chase, but there was a bunch of them, $10.


They also had a few Legacy Jhiaxus(es) for $14 and a SS86 Coronation Starscream for $22. I have all of these aside from the Rescue Bots so didn't take home any of them, but I did pick up a bunch of non Transformers stuff I'll post on the non-Transformers toy haul.

This isn't their normal turnout, some years I find no Transformers there whatsoever.

Also checked T.J. Maxx and they didn't have anything.

Not exactly a "find" but I was amused to see this parked at the entrance of the Walmart parking lot on Black Friday.



Highly doubt that was a coincidence.

Movie isn't even out yet and these just hit the shelves, but Walmart is already slashing the prices on some of the Godzilla X Kong toys.




And they also found ANOTHER case of this MotU wave from two years ago after they nearly sold out. They were down to I think four last I checked.
