Richard Sargent over on Hopewell Studios drew this sweet pic of robots throughout all media, and there's a contest running on their page. Name as many robots as you can by 8/31 (entry details on the page!) and whoever gets the most right wins a poster.

Wow, thanks for finding this. Just went quickly over to the originating site to get a better view of the poster and the first robot I saw upon enlarging it was Twiki and co. ( :P ), however, he was standing next to Tom Servo ( :D ) so it wasn't all bad. Not seeing any favs from the Cosmic Christmas short or Captain Future (the little flying thingee that goosed the goose and Soaron count as robots, right?), but then I haven't found Wall-E yet either.

The scary part is how many ooolllldddd ones are familiar to me. Sigh...:-(

Wall-E is right next to K~9 (find V.I.N.C.E.N.T, go to the right, past the Bad Robot and there is Wall-E)..

Jeez, I am a movie geek because I am sitting here naming these bots for my wife and oldest daughter..

K-9??? Oh man, wasn't that Doctor Who's robot dog from the '80s episodes? DAMN, I haven't thought about that character since...well...the '80s!

It's alright, CB. We won't make fun of you, lol.

I'm not much of a movie guy, so I can hardly name any of those characters.

EDIT: Upon second glance, I recognize some, but I'll be damned if I can remember their names. Like the robot from "The Black Hole" - can't think of it...

Found him. He looks faded compared to the rest of them. I also found Wheelie from G1 and the movies.

Wall-E looks faded on my screen too--thought my eyes were going. But there he is. Thanks!

Favs so far: IQ-9 and Ro-Man (from Robot Monster, a movie I paid Actual Real Money to rent once...think it was even a Beta tape, yikes!).

Who the hell is that robot beside the robot from Lost in Space in the far back row? The one with the triangular shaped mouth. I know I've seen it somewhere, years ago. I can't bring myself to remember.

Oh yeah...I didn't even see him!

I was talking about the other robot from that movie. The one near the front, in the "7 o' clock" position. I could just look it up, but that would kinda ruin this conversation, lol.

Oh, V.I.N.CENT? Cyber Bishop mention him, so I figured it was Max you were talking about.

This was the dumbest movie ever. I don't know why everyone likes it so much. It's stupid.

THIS. It's the only movie that I can think of that I don't like.
