Been trying to watch back through the film's, but allowing my 11 and 7 year olds to watch as well.

Not only are there scenes showing a very skimpy Megan Fox, but also a scene where a female deception tries it on with Sam. Language galor throughout as well. Scenes that I don't think are very acceptable for people who should be the ones buying the toys and other merchandise.

I know it's each to their own if their kids watch or not, but I just feel they should be more child friendly based on their market. Are they no longer targeting a younger audience?

Mikaela scenes in first one is just to show she is the"pretty girl" that Sam has eyes onto.Maggie didnt have any scenes like that http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Maggie_Madsen .I personally feel the Alice scenes in the second one increased the point twist that she is a Decepticon. In the Third and Fourth ones I dont remenber nothing major. The number of scenes like the one you described has decreased by each film anyways,so probably you dont have to worry about it.

I agree, InfiniteSD! I hope the Bumblebee movie is gonna be more kid-friendly, since Bee is kinda a favorite among kids. It's also been rumored and nearly confirmed that the Bee movie is gonna have a different director, so that kinda says something.

Because then, they'd be boring. I can't stand most of the Marvel movies or the last 2 Star Wars movies because they're too "family friendly." They play it way too safe and do nothing new with what they're given.

Right, because the movies do everything they can with what they're given? No, they really don't. In fact, they're wasted opportunities.

Say what you want about the Marvel movies, they're at least fun and engaging despite their flaws.

I for one agree with the post above, and think the movies should be a bit more family friendly.
But then again, Animated and Prime are my favorite transformers shows, and I want this franchise rebooted, given different writers and a different director, so maybe I'm a bit biased?

A child friendly movie can be dark as well as lighthearted too, it's it's not like that'd be bad.

The only Marvel movie I had "fun" with, or was "engaged" with was Civil War during the airport scene. I also liked the highway scene in Winter Soldier. That's it. Everything else is fake, manufactured, and generic.

I can see where everyone is coming from, but case in point, just been watching AOE with my kids, and while there may not be any sex scenes yet, I lost track of the amount of times a swear word was used when they could have easily been avoided.

I've never been too concerned about the action scenes, just the use of sex and swearing. To me the movies would be the same if these were left out.

Just like Marvel, or DC movies, these should be aged to a younger audience. Sure I still enjoy them from my childhood interests, but I want my kids to do the same.

I get where you coming from, but lets not pretend the movies people mentioned here dont do the same.
I will use a few examples form MCU,which is one of more popular "templates",that people use how to make movies.

The first Iron Man man has a quick glimpse of a sex scene.Iron Man 2 has a part where Happy gives a quick peek of Black Widow changing clothes.Another example is Avengers Age of Ultron, during the first fight against Ultron,Bruce lands his face on Natasha's boobs.

If we're talking swear words, the MCU has plenty but I will use the examples that stick out to me:
Iron man 3 calls a guy son of a bitch after he kills him.
Guardians of the Galaxy,Star Lord says "(Juggernaut mode)we're the Guardians of the Galaxy bitch"then proceed to use the Infinity Stone on him.

If yo're saying you want yours kids to see something more friendly,I respect that a lot :APPLAUSE: .
I just don't like when people give other movies that pulls the same thing a free pass.
Unless you meant all along that you also think that Marvel and DC are not friendly either, then I am sorry for making this long post. :(

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. My kids still haven't seen any of the Batman films up to and including Batman VS Superman. Not even the older Superman films, though I feel they would be safe for them, but only the Christopher Reeve ones. They haven't seen any of the Marvel films either. None of the "Comic" book based films do a good job of making them suitable for kids.

Apart from the original Superman, or the Adam West Batman, they all have too much swearing, and in some respect sexual innuendos.

Kids always watch things they shouldn't because stuff for older kids is "edgy and cool". I remember being in the 4th grade and a lot of the other kids used to watch WWF (it's WWE now) and back then wrestling was a lot more violent and had a lot of sexual humor. Look up "WWF attitude era" and you will see what I mean.

I think the movies are geared twards teens and I think we know how teenage boys can be. If it were geared towards the G rated crowd it probably wouldn't have the same draw because Michael Bay can't write and without half naked chicks and explosions the movie would get boring.

There are a lot of parents who don't care and will take their kids to rated are movies like Deadpool. It is really skeevy of a parent to let a kid watch movie with a topless sex scene in the theater imho. It's even worse the theater lets them do this.

The movies weren't made for kids. There's your answer.

I'm a little confused on the sex part, besides Alice getting a little too frisky, the worst you can say is the scantily clad girls, but i've seen worse out in the every day world (go to Walmart... you'll see lots of it)

Have you guys been in a modern day school and seen what kids are like as someone who just graduated grade 12 last year and frequently goes to pick up my younger sibling most kids act like spoiled children who swear a lot and use their smart phones especially in High and Middle school and even elementary! which were dreadful to be part of in my generation.

I had groups of little kids in like first or second grade flip me the middle finger and use the F word on me for pretty much no reason at all besides them just being rude.

I've sometimes seen recent kids shows on tv while passing by and I can't believe how much their getting away with what they put on there especially the live action kid shows 50 years from now and this is going to be the standard for what "kid friendly is".

I have seen kids act like that at the store. I mean when I was a kid we all knew naughty words and would giggle about them but we wouldn't yell them because we would get into trouble if any adults found out. But back in my day parents actually disciplined their children. Now when I go out I see kids running around, climbing on things and the parents don't do anything about it. I know I probably sound like a cranky old man but those kids are not only obnoxious but they could get hurt.

I hate that. Parents these days are just as childish and lazy as the kids they claim they want to raise. But the problem is, is that they don't WANT to raise their kids. A lot of them see their kids as a government check, or as a liability. Most parents simply aren't ready to be parents, and their children are a result of their irresponsibility. Responsibility is what everyone seems to be lacking today. It all comes back to that.

Children are immature but don't better, the parents are the same but should know better
