I bet I'm not the only one who is shock and angry that season 3 of TF Prime will have only 13 episodes and will be the last season of the show. What happen? What's going on? How come the show suddenly decided to end after 3 seasons?

Was it ratings suddenly take a dip? Money issues? Contract disputes?
Or will there be a new Transformers show to follow after Prime?

TF Prime should have more than 65 episodes. I was really enjoying Prime.

Shouldn't Prime get more episodes? Is there any petitions to join to bring more episodes to Prime?

Hasbro wants to move on to a new storyline in the Aligned continuity. They wanted the series to be 65 episodes so it could be rebroadcast in syndication; no more, no less. Prime has decent ratings on the Hub, but Hasbro wants to move on.

As a bone throw to the fans, they allowed the showrunners to do one more TV movie, roughly 3 episode length, to wrap up the series later on.

65 episodes was the show's intended goal since before it even began.

And "only" 65? That's pretty impressive considering it's the second-longest Transformers cartoon. G1 may have had 98 episodes, but a good majority of them were one in which nothing really happened beyond "thwart random evil plot of the day" stuff.

The three years worth of story content the Prime creators had planned out for the show all got covered in just season 2. The Beast Hunters theme for season 3 came as a very late decision in the development.

Too bad. Transformers Prime is probably the best Transformers series I've watched 'till now or at least any show for that matter (in my opinion). It has action, adventure, well designed characters, the plot is also very well built, etc... Ending the show at 65 episodes looks little to me, not to mention that there are still questions about some moments in the show that remain unsolved.

I agree I wish it would be longer than 65 episodes, there are still alot more stories to tell with the direction they're going but we have a movie coming and its said that there will be another cartoon coming after this.

65 episodes isn't so bad. Lasted longer than the recent Thundercats, Green Lantern, Young Justice, and Tron cartoons.

It's entirely possible that the next TF cartoon is a sequel to Prime.

Nonsense. Rescue Bots isn't getting "killed off" by any movie. It's getting its second season this winter.

Though, Prime was meant to end at 65 since its conception.

I just hope we don't have a repeat of TF:Animated in which Season 3 was never put out on DVD

That's the fault of CN and/or Paramount. Hasbro had no control over that. Prime, however, is wholly their own show, so the only way season 3 wouldn't get released this time would be if Hasbro wanted to mess with us and make their customers mad on purpose (which is very bad business).

ROTF's twins were the target of many racial stereotyping accusations.

But, whether they really were racist or not, they were still annoying nonetheless.

am I the only one that thought the twins were hilarious from ROTF? I remeber being in the theater watching it and everybody was crack'n up with the twins. I didnt find them racist or idiotic, stereotypical yes but hey its a movie.

Annoying..god yes.. I enjoyed their scenes the first time but after that I always fast forwarded through their parts. I never really understood the "racist" parts..Because ya know, aliens from another world know about that kind of stuff..

The worst part is I already have this filling like Beast Hunters is gona be too short. When they finaly breakk the status quo, and everythng seems to change forever... they decide to cut this off!

Cut what off? 65 was their GOAL, what they WANTED to do from the start.

Again, their three-to-four years worth of story content got all used up in just season 2. The Beast Hunters theme was a late decision.

Then why they start to change everything so late? BH seems have a potencital to become so interesting arc, yet 13 seems to be not enough to explore all motives. For example: I would love to see a Flashback centered about Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Breakdown, something what reveals what was Bulk and Break's "Story", yet it seems there is no time.

Cuz they ran dry their planned story material this late and needed a new direction to go in to finish the series off.

Armada did something similar by bringing in Unicron for its final arc. Energon (yes, Energon) also had a situation in which it also ran out of plot and took a different direction for its final arc (though, it did so in the worst way possible).

Beast Wars seasons 2-3, Beast Machines, and Animated all only had thirteen episodes per season, and each of those had greatly developed seasons.

I think any and all potential for that to have happened was killed off when Airachnid killed Breakdown back in episode 33. Doing so long after that event would feel really delayed.

I mean, look at Cliffjumper. It took them 42 episodes after his death to give us anything worthwhile about him, and by then it felt very late-coming.

Yes, bu you must remember, that Cliffjumper was killed really fast, you don't have time to attach to him. Breakdown, after all have much more time, and he have his fans. Also Cliff was kinda bad lubk guy, cause he is partner of Arcee, and that means that you are involved into all her "emoformers" action. We don't have that kind of problems with Bulkhead.

Even still, with Breakdown gone and no logner a concern for Bulkhead, the rivalry history between the two seems to have gone down the drain, having died off along with Breakdown.
