You on DTF VonSchlitzy?

Waspinator is pretty easy to find, especially in Madison and Milwaukee.

Wreck-gar is the hard one to find at the moment though. I got lucky and a friend picked me one up though.

Keep watching, there's sure to be more Wreck-gars sitting on shelves to replace all the Lugnuts and Primes.

You're missing out my friend!

The DTF is short for The Dairyland Transformers Fans.

We are a group that works together and chats about toys, sightings, and deals, right here in Wisconsin. Most of us live in the Madison/Milwaukee area, so if that's where you hunt, you definitely want to join. We even have our own convention in Fond du Lac every year called Dairycon!

Which, I should mention, is next month on April 25th. It is a little late for registration, but if you are interested in attending, you can come as a guest. Let me know if you're interested!

I'll be at dairycon in a few weeks and was wondering if I could find a tfclub member to halves with me on an astrotrain or air-razor

If anyone is still looking for an Animated Skywarp or Shockwave, the west side Appleton Wal Mart has a few.

I guess that there isn't very many of us in the state, but here goes. The TRU in Appleton has all of the exclusives in stock. There were four each of the Insecticons and Perceptor, as well as loads of the 3 pack (Megs, Fallen, and Soundwave) and also about ten of the Mixmaster/Hoist 2 pack.

I don't know how often this forum gets checked, but take a look at your local Wal Marts for an incredible price on their Masterpiece Skywarps.

Man, where are all of the Wisconsin folks? I know they're out there ...

Thanks for continuing to participate in this topic Grahf. Let's figure out a way to get more people to post in this thread. Hmm ... any ideas?

Any luck finding the TRU deluxe Animated Ratchet or Arcee figures recently in southeast Wisconsin? I'm in the Chicago area ... trying to find these two figures. Best of luck with your hunting!

I very rarely make it down to Madison or Milwaukee anymore, but both of the TRU Arcee and Ratchet I found at the TRU in Appleton today. It seems like the cases for them are an even split between the two figures. If they made it up here already, I wouldn't be surprised if they start showing up in the southern part of the state soon.

I'm not quite sure how to get more Wisconsinites to check this forum. I don't know if people just check the posts and don't bother posting anything in return. I know there are other collectors in my area, I even found a flyer for the Dairycon convention last year in a local Wal Mart.

I'll keep doing my part and posting what I find after a few hunts.

So far today, the Wal Mart in De Pere has the newest wave of Nest Deluxes. After the ones I bought there is still four left of each of the figures in the wave.

Every time I go to the Madison Toys R Us its the same 7 or 8 Oil Slicks. :KREMZEEK:

Janesville Target has Mindwipe.

Janesville Toys R Us has both Animated Soundwaves (as of this past Thursday, anyway), but no sign of Arcee or Ratchet.

Wal-Mart on the south side of Madison has a glut of legend class Devastators.

I appreciate you guys sharing your postings. We'll get the Cheeseheads to post more! Makes me think that I really need to get up to Dairycon and try to recruit some people! You guys keep posting, I'll do my part to help promote the forums more which in turn will get more Wisconsin people here.

Funny thing about Arcee and Ratchet, I found them (of all places) at the lone Fao Schwarz store in New York City near Central Park last Sunday when I was there for Toy Fair. I missed the memo that TRU bought out the dying Fao "chain" last year so I was not expecting to find TRU exclusives at Fao.

I know they've been in the Chicagoland area around the end of January but I never saw them.

I imagine stuff disappears faster around Chicago and other major cities. I'm fortunate enough that within a 30 mile radius of where I live, there are four Wal Marts, three Targets, and two TRU. I'm sol when it comes to Kmart though, I think that they have pretty much given up on NE Wisconsin.

Except we've got a ton more stores in this area so it probably evens out. According to the store locator on Seibertron.com, http://www.seibertron.com/sightings/zips.php, in my area within 20 miles I've got ...

at least 15 Walmarts within 20 miles
at least 9 Toys R Us stores within 20 miles
at least 23 Targets within 20 miles
about 15 Kmarts within 20 miles

Yeah, I've tried to recruit many other Cheeseheads to stop in here, to no avail. Thus I end up checking TFW's Wisconsin Sightings thread to see everyone's sightings and accidentally forget about this thread here at home. Plus, a lot of the sightings are posted on the DTF mailing list too. Then you add on the fact that one of our prominent members of the state works for Toysightings.com, and it just gets complicated, lol.

Around my area, stores are finally getting in the new scouts and voyagers. Picked up Mindwipe a couple days ago.

Madison West Wal-Mart is starting to get in new deluxes, Deluxe Ratchet is on the pegs. They had 1 ROTF Lockdown, until I snagged him.

Still no luck with Animated Ratchet and Arcee. Last Friday I called the Toys R Us stores in Janesville, all 3 in Milwaukee, and even the one in Rockford, IL. Only the S. 27th Street store knew what I was talking about from others calling for the same items. One of the other boards reported seeing Animated Ratchet at the S. 27th Street store earlier today, but only one with all the Arcees bought out.

BTW, I sent in some update to the store locator. Madison only has 1 Toys R Us now, the east side one converted to a Babies R Us a while back and the K-Mart listed on Odanna Road in Madison is long gone, I drive past the location every other week when making my car payment, after which I go to the Toys R Us and stare at the same 6 Oil Slicks that have been there since Christmas.

I stop buy the S.27th one, everyday to every other day, as well as brown deer and to no avail. I work mainly in the Chicagoland area and have been on a massive hunt. Yesterday I found Arcee and Ratchet but could only buy one, so I said hello Arcee. Not to be too greedy, but I still want two more for each of my girls. One of them I plan on painting into a medic or elita so they won't fight.

This is a posting from the TFW2005 Boards Illinios

"I got to thank Padre today. He called me and I went on a whim to Western TRU after my shower after he called asking if I wanted a Shanghai set. Got an Arcee and Ratchet and met someone never knew from the boards. Chatted for a while. But I missed out on the clearance price of avatar stuff I wanted and waited for the price drop; I went to check the clearance of peterson and miss the two $5 amp suits that literally got snatched right in front of me when I got to the aisle. Damn. Well, if anyone sees an AMP suit from the line for $5, please nab it for me. Thanks. Also, I will keep a lookout for any extra Arcee. I don't hold much hope for the Western though; said they were discontinued. "

I just came from the Janesville Toys R Us. There's only 1 Ratchet now. I got one of the 2, the other I moved from it's own peg to the peg with a Soundwave and 2 Electrostatic Soundwaves, it's at the back of that peg now. They're expecting their next truck tomorrow, I'm gonna call and see if any Arcees come in.

Madison Toys R Us is down to only 5 Oil Slicks now, and has a bunch of Shanghai Showdown packs.

Fitchburg Target has Skystalker in.

Madison South Wal-Mart has lowered prices on a bunch of Transformers, scouts are $7 (Divebomb one of the new ones in), Marvel Crossovers are down to $12 but they only had the new car and motorcycle Spidermans, there was a Captain America but I snagged that one, The Bumblebee/Soundwave 2 pack is at $15.
