Different case as Optimus Primal =/= Optimus Prime. When I said every "Optimus" was perfect, I was intentionality referring to every "Optimus Prime". Fixed it now.

And Primal never became a Prime in that series. He may have been a Maximal leader (something like a general, even), but he was never the Maximal Leader. Time and again Beast Wars/Machines referred to the highest ranking of all Maximals being the Council of Maximal Elders.

Granted, he was still a true hero, but he was never at the same level of rank as a Supreme Commander as far as the American cartoons were concerned (Japan is their own thing).

here are a few annoyances out of my memories

Annoying Humans: literally any human ever introduced but the top ones are all of the unicron trilogy series kids and Daniel from G1.

Annoying Robots: Jolt from Transformers Cybertron, Energon Ironhide(he´s just so dimwitted at times).

Finnally im not saying that Grimlock is a bad character but i just dont like how he´s portrayed as having a faulty glitch in his creation resulting in how stupidly he acts and talks. He´s shown a lot of character and and awesomeness in marvel and dreamwave comics but every cartoon incarnation of him just kills his chances of being more awesome.

Lets just agree that any human character pretty much gave Transformers a negative point. That and Bumblebee. I can not stand how this character is everywhere and is in almost every universe. It has come to the point that I actually want to start kicking children I see dressed up as Bumblebee. I usually feel bad for people that I see being pulled over for being tickets, but thanks to Bayverse Bumblebee I actually cheer as I drive by........... I watch Prime just to see the off chance that they will melt bumblebee down or destroy him like they did cliff jumper. Hell I would be happy if they did to him what IDW did to Sun Streaker, except have his human die and Bumblebee explode and melt into a toxic pool.

*sigh* Apparently, Masterforce is still as obscure a series as it was twenty years ago, it seems.

And yet, there was a point where we had no Bumblebee whatsoever for about 10 years (1996-2006).

Hence the words Almost. Then again I still read the comics between 96-2006, so my despise is still there, but I guess I should have kept it to just the cartoons. Sorry... still you can not help but to despise him.

Except that each Bumblebee is different.

You got:
  • The typical bland young guy from G1.
  • The mute, irritating dude from the Movies
  • The cold-hearted drifter/Seeker Commander from Shattered Glass
  • The young, lively, energetic, full-of-life, ball of energy from Animated
  • And the "Johnny Young Bosch"-turned-"silent killer" from WFC/Exodus/Prime.

You forgot the Promoted to leader in IDW, and the whiny, trying to prove himself version in Marvel-UK.

However they all share the same (except for SG) basic Bumblebee persona, the same way Prime shares his personas with the other Primes (even primal).
Bumblebee = Humans in transformers.

Every human is different (Spike is not the same as Sam who is not the same as Carlos). Yet they are all equally annoying and droll as a character. With the exception of SG, they are all suppose to be inspiration markers and relational points so that the youths of today have a character they can relate to. Time changes all the characters but not their intended purpose and basic purpose for story development and demographic relational points.

And my Masterforce argument still holds up since every human in that series was epic. Almost god-like in power, even.

I guess it still holds up similar to the way an vertical ejection seat works on a helicopter. Sure your out, but are you in any better shape? #-o

All joking aside, this is just my opinion versus yours. I respect it and can see why you would like some of the characters I despise.

Unless you've actually seen Masterforce, you can't comment without having experienced it.

The humans were the Autobots and Deceptcions of that series (that's right, Decepticon humans!), and each one of them was made a better character than the entire G1 cartoon cast combined.

Why, that whole series was so good that I rank it almost as high as Beast Wars, Animated, and Beast Machines (higher than BM, actually) in terms of quality, effort, and sheer competence. 8)

To be brutally honest I had to get the dubbed version because I don't understand the Japanese versions (Never learned Japanese). A close friend of mine was deployed out there and picked up both sets for me. I can understand some of it, but a majority of it I couldn't understand. There were no subtitles on the VHS and I have yet to find the Japanese versions on dvd/blu-ray that have subtitles or fan sub sites.

The English dub of Masterforce =

It was an absolute FAIL! It's not even worth watching as it's just so PATHETIC! Fandubs are better than that atrocity!

All the episodes in Japanese w/ English subtitles can be downloaded easily from TV-Nihon. They subtitled every episode and in about as good as (or better than) the quality of the official DVD subs. They also subbed The Headmasters, Victory, RobotMasters, Super Link, Galaxy Force, and the first few episodes of Car Robots. And the Japanese openings/endings/promos of Animated. They are the fansub group to go to when it comes to the Transformers anime. All you have to do is ask where to find them.

Also, aside from the Bay movies, Blu-Ray = nonexistent for any TF series.

Yeah, I know getting any anime unless its like Ex Machina in blu-ray is pretty much not worth it, however I always look to try to get better quality than what the VHS offers.

I can't think of a more whiny little bitch than Jun from Transformers Victory. He didn't accomplish anything, not even as a character. He didn't give anything for the story either. Why did Star Sabre save him anyway, Well he was a baby back then and even Star Sabre couldn't see what an obnoxious ass he was going to grow up into.

Well thats my rant over.

Worst Squishy Human - I don't care for any human character, but i'll say Kicker since he seems to be the popular choice.

Worst Transformer - BW Scorponok. Really, did the guy ever do anything useful? He was just the loyalist suck-up until Inferno came along.
