Agreed, Also thought the face was weird. Speculated it was trying to mock the MP-05 Megatron face.

Hoping their is a better, less weird looking secondary face included. or the initail face gets a revamp.

Minus the weird face, Think this X-Transbots Megatron is the best Gun Megatron toy created thus far. Think it's easily superior to the Hedgemon-Megatron, Takara MP-05 and Bold Forms Gladius-Megatron toys.

Looking pretty good; way better than the MP-5. I actually rather like this head. (Better pix over at TFW2005.)

Wish Takara would give us a sign if they're working on Megatron. They seem to be excited about the "real car" direction, which is awesome, but we need a Megatron, too!

Remember back then how long it took (but not to design :lol:

)to release Megatron? MP-05. 5 models after. What more the revision?

Not bad . I think the propotions are off especially the legs/shins looks like he should be taller .

Interesting.

It looks like theyve taken the MP Megs and put someone elses shorter legs on him, it really does?

This guy, judging by that 'curiously posed' photo seems to be shorter than MP-10 Optimus, why else would one take such a photo, with Op set back and leaning over?

Gonna call it. MP-10 Op is taller than X-Transbots Megs; TW orion is considerably shorter than X-T Megs, too much shorter, so neither can be displayed in a similar scaled display.

X-Transbots, despite their awesome Krank n Stax, have dropped the 3p ball again... >:oP

a reveal of a megatron 2.0 would be perfect timing right now. hell, just make a sillhouette and call it MP56 so we know youre actually making him!

X-Transbots means wait until people get this in hand for a review or so and purchase after getting the "okay". I really want this guy to be quality, he looks nice.

I like XTransbots, I do, but their plastic isn't exactly rock solid. I had tabs break off of their G2 Bruticus armor (it didn't affect anything, honestly) and it's just so light feeling. I'm not sure it's Masterpiece level. Plus it has die-cast, which is nice and all, but I don't give a toss about dc and I think the price seems a bit off for that much plastic and metal. So, what gives? I mean, if it really is that affordable, great! Keep it coming, but is it quality? By no means do I want them to raise the price. I think this is reasonable, and I think anything higher would be ridiculous. I'm just surprised for a 3rd party MP figure.

I try to avoid 3P MP figures, because I suspect many of them will be done by Takara eventually, especially Megatron, but MAN is this one tempting!!!

This is just epic awesome. I've already got this on pre-order.

Think it's a great Price for a MP Leader scale toy. Since it also comes with the gun extensions.

Think if Hasbro sold this toy at TRU USA stores with the gun extensions. It would cost around $119 + $10 in state sales tax + gas car fees driving to the store.

Love that 3rd parties are creating so many Leader scale and bigger scaled toys.

Thankful, Didn't buy a Hedgemon-Megatron toy. As I seriously think Hedgemon is so inferior and awful compared to this X-Transbot Megatron toy.

The negatives I find wrong with Hedgemon are. The weak inferior joints tech. Awful sculpted accessories. Extremely tiny toy scale. Terrible sculpting on the mold in both modes. I read and watch more negatives toy reviews on Hedgemon from buyers compared to the small amount of positives reviews.

Glad to see your needs are finally being catered to

IMO Hegemon is neither inferior and definitely not awful , for a voyager figure he does his job pretty damn good .

You should be comparing this to MP-05 .
