That looks very impressive. If it's a decent price I may have to get one.

I dunno if it's too blocky or what, but it looks more like a cheap toy instead of a sweet action figure. I do like its scale, though.

My thoughts exactly. Nice upgrade but it needs more update.

I'm not getting into the niceties of this is legal or not but for Primus' sake! Is there no satisfying the so called experts?

Powerglide wasn't much of a looker. He's got a phallic shaped head with no actual feet(at least until he was animated in the show).

Jizai (the original manufacturers)did engineering wonders from the original Takara mini bot design. Given the limitation of the originals, that the figure managed to have an actual molded legs and feet deserves accolades. And all we are hearing that this is blocky, why wasn't it updated and all this schlock!

This was a G1 blocky as a brick design! What'd you expect? Jizai wasn't going for an update but a more robot like figure from the original brick he came from jeezzzzzzzzz!

Makes me wonder how this design could be implemented otherwise?

For the folks who don't know - this mold is over 5 years old. It's not new. The creator (Jizaitoys) designed it to look like the G1 cartoon, which he did very well. It's not meant to be "Classics" version anymore than Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime. If you are disappointed - well you are barking up the wrong tree.

CHMS did a good job at keeping the joints tight. Looking forward to picking it up. Wonder if they'll offer a BadBoy repaint.

Too bad Takara wasn't keen at buying the rights and producing this themselves (they knew about the designs because they gave Jizaitoys a one day license to sell the figure).

What if you did know but were commenting on the figure as it stands anyhow? It might not be 'meant' for Classics, but that's where it would go for most who purchase it. That's where it would go if I purchased it so that's how I'm basing my opinion on it. If you think it's the greatest thing ever, awesome. It's okay not to love it too, though. >:oP

And FWIW, while JizzyToys may not have intended for it to be a Classics fig, I'm willing to bet that's exactly what CHMS had in mind when they KO'ed and up-sized it...

Don't know if I want it now, the plastic looks cheap and the colours looks really toy ish, as in they look like one of those Playschool bath toy sets.
