So, I decided I need to say this here so everyone understands what my point was with this thread.
I despise cliques. For the entirety of my time playing, I have always been about people doing whatever it is they find fun. Anything that excludes or ostracizes people in the community isn't welcome in my opinion, regardless of this stance, and I would never think of endorsing it.
That said, I didn't know how deep the tags ran back in the day until after making this thread or what they meant to some people. Personally, I saw tags as harmless, optional-additional material that might add a sense of personal purpose or enhancement to the game's experience. Regarding the one I made, no one would ever be excluded from the group, regardless of faction, nor would they be excluded from events. Even events made around tags can include those not a part of them. They essentially meant nothing to the integrity of the game, the way I saw them, so I wanted to make a group for those who might be too shy to participate in posting to be able to be a part of something. The idea was that being a part of it might boost motivation or give an enhanced experience so that they might feel less ostracized.
It was, in my eyes, yet another attempt at helping the Autobot/Maximal faction grow, by providing an opportunity for said more shy members of the community to be a part of something without having to post or create presence (which can be scary without good reinforcement). After learning more about what the tags used to stand for and what they might eventually become again, I can see why it wasn't my best idea, and I apologize to anyone who felt this might hurt the community further.
While we're on the topic of being a part of something, though, I've been trying ever since I started playing to help increase activity on this faction. As Boss says, however, the player base being so low is the bigger problem here. That said, I'm going to shift my efforts to supporting the growth of the game, itself, to bring in more members rather than by trying to appeal to the members already present but who are withdrawn.
Again, I am truly sorry if this attempt was seen as having ill intention.
Moving forward, I'll be removing my tag to support this post and my intentions. Sprockitz, thank you for joining in! You were very supportive to me when I was level 0, and it was exciting to see your support here. OP007, you were awesome for joining, but we don't need a tag to team up. Let's just continue to give'em hell

DISCHARGE wrote:No apologies needed. I could see what you were doing and it was meant to boost enjoyment. Hunting the RDD was totally understandable. They are the only viable sub faction, but not what they used to be.
I remember one day they swarmed and the next they were all pissed about something
(I don't really know, and it was a long time ago) and gave up.
But the ones that are still around still care, so I would think they would look at this as opportunity to reconfigure.
And here Skoll..guide me..please
