So I know this could go in TF General Discussion, but there are toy pics. I wanna start out and say Dairycon was so much fun. I didn't win the Jumpstarter race and I didn't win Spot, but I did have a winning day filled with fun and Transformers. I got to meet a couple Seibertron members and my daughter had more fun than me I think.

As I walked in I picked up my Dairycon exclusive, Domino.
DSC01080.JPG
DSC01081.JPG
They do a good job while not breaking anyones wallet, well at least not till the end of the convention. The deals were on and I'm glad I waited to buy any of the Henkei because I was able to pick up Starscream at a great price without paying for shipping.
DSC01079.JPG

Megatron was also available but there were other things I was looking for. Walking from table to table nobody was gouging and the prices people wanted for their transformers were
so freindly.

The dealer tables in no way offer the cream of the crop as there was a special presenter, who's name escapes me(sorry). He did offer a peek into the world of prototypes and had some very nice ones to show us. Ohh! Very nice.
First he pulled out a pre-Diaclone trainbot.
DSC01072 (1).JPG

I think this was made of resin. Apparently they are almost always destroyed.
Then the Pretender shell hard copy of Submaurader.
DSC01071.JPG

This got me going.
Submaurader is my favorite pretender and I was drooling to get closer to it.
The cameras were flashing again when this little gem was brought out.
DSC01073.JPG

A G2 Dinobot, yes his chest piece was metal. Man these color variants
should be produced even if it is by a collector brand like ehobby.
I think the white is much neater than the KO 'ghost' versions.
We also got to see the Decepticon clones Pounce and Wingspan in preproduction colors, unfortunately they don't show up too well in my pics, but they are a very dark blue instead of the light blue that
we now of. Me likey.
DSC01067.JPG

Not only did he show us prototype toys but we got to see some
drawings of transformers that we'll never probably get as toys.
The first one was of Hooligan, sorry the pic didn't turn out.
He then showed us pics of what he said but couldn't confirm of
Megatron, Starscream and Prime.
DSC01061.JPG
DSC01062.JPG

DSC01065.JPG

The raffle pretty much heated everybody up as most everyone wanted to get their hands on Spot.

The toy in package looked awesome and pics don't do it justice. Nice job to everybody who made that little guy. There were only 5 produced for the convention and the last one went as an auction. While it was part of all the exclusives as a grand prize (which one was also raffled off the same) It was clearly
the driving force pushing the price above $200 dollars.

I gotta tell you. Anyone wanting a mini-Botcon that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg, next year set your sights for Dairycon. It's free to enter and it's a great time. The Dairycons can only get better each year.

Thanks for the pics! How are those exclusives made? Are they from like a customizer or from Hasbro?

I don't think they are made by Hasbro. Here is the bottom of the package
DSC01083.JPG

I think one the the DTF members makes them, but I could be wrong.
The box is made of pure fun though as it resembles a greasy pizza box.
Oh yeah, Domino's eyes glow in the dark. Heh! Good times. There was also
another exclusive: Plothole, I never managed to get any decent pics of him though, but maybe some of the other Seibertron members that I met there did.

Wonder what them crazy Cheeseheads have been up to this year? Wonder no more! Every year, it has seemed like the event has grown, and now it has gotten to the point where we had 2 dealer rooms! Come check out all the fun in a gallery provided by not only Seibertron.com Staff Member Fender Bender, but several other regular members who felt like sharing their pics. To check out our official gallery, click <a href="http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y89/cbff/Dairycon%202008/" target="_blank">here</a> and make sure to check out the rest of the thread for various images from others.

We also have a special treat for all of our Seibertronians this year. Every year, there is an auction for a complete set of exclusives for the year to help pay for the room. This year the bidding war got a little excessive and our own Methusalen was kind enough to catch it on video for your entertainment. The winner ended up being the owner of <a href="http://www.jrstoyworld.com" target="_blank">JRS Toyworld</a>, but it costed him quite a bit! To watch the video, click <a href="http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Methusalen/Dairycon%2008/?action=view&current=Dairycon08059.flv" target="_blank">here</a>.

Dairycon all the way around sounds like fun, a simpler time for a simple collector...

Like a Pepridge Farms comercial for Transformers people.

I'd like to go one year, it just seems nice :D

Yeah that was a made for Dairycon exclusive. Good luck finding that one.
I was happy to pick up a loose Dead End minicon while I was there. Now I
Don't have to open my Unicron to get at him.

I myself am oh so close to completing it. I just need the middle part and I'll have a complete Stormsword.

And for those wondering, the logo "Stogie's Pizza" was actually a reference to one of our regulars to Dairycon, a Mr. "Stogie" Stogbauer.

You are right and wrong. The Stormsword was a co-exclusive for all 3 conventions, however, each piece was not exclusive to any of the conventions. It was random on which one each attendee received. I won my second piece at the Jumpstarter races of that year. I just need the middle and I can die happy.

Also, the three conventions were in Wisconsin, Washington, and The Netherlands. Here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/fredsworkshop/2005.html

Man, I wish I could have gone! I was all set to register last month when a b-day party for my wife's niece came up on the same day, argh. Couldn't get out of it, plus I was sick all weekend. I would have gotten all of Dairycon sick, thus reducing my popularity within the community.

May we ask how much you paid for your henkei Starscream? 'cuz I want to cry for missing out on him.

Nice pics, thx for the update!

 Good luck trying to hunt even one of these buggers down. I got in a bidding war when the middle piece showed up on Ebay once. Went for $50 to some Japanese bidder. Consider the scalper price markup on that when the figure was FREE! Even worse than the 2K7 Seekers in that regard.

I'd drop $50 for each one of those Mini-Cons and not bat an eye.
