First Look at Two Decepticon Muscle Car Transformers from Bumblebee Movie

Bumblebee Movie Decepticons - This is some exciting time for fans anticipating the upcoming Bumblebee movie. Yesterday we had the official reveal of the first Bumblebee toy from the film's main toyline and today we have our first look at two new robots: Shatter and Dropkick. Both are said to be muscle cars, though both seem to have some aircraft kibble as well. The reveal comes to us from Entertainment Weekly and we thank Seibertronian Deadput for sending the news our way. You can see both decepticons very clearly in the image below after the blurb from Entertainment Weekly.

Why The Transformers Bumblebee Movie Will (Probably) Succeed #BumblebeeMovie

Why Bumblebee Might Succeed - The hype, if you are to believe the various parts of the internet where the Transformers fandom gathers, is real. Twitter is abuzz, discussion boards are mostly positive - which is a welcome change from the regular Michael Bay / Paramount inspired conversations - Instagram is screenshotting the trailer like there will be no movie, and people within the franchise are also fawning over The Sweet Boy. And rightly so. With that general context in mind, then, why not join me in speculating about the reasons why this last but first venture (if you are to believe the Paramount direction) outside of the currently beaten path for the Transformers live action movie universe, may in fact be its most successful as a media franchise - in 5 bullet points. As with Brawl, Megatron and Jazz, while Studio Series wave 2 has hit a few retailers, there is little talk about them. They have yet to reach saturation and their higher prices at several retailers might make them less obvious to own. I have a pictorial review for every toy of Wave 2 so far so I thought I would complete that with Lockdown. As with every other toy in this wave (and line), there is a lot to like but it is also far from perfect. The first thing I would like to get out of the - Read More

The latest wave of Studio Series deluxes is slowly appearing in the US. While a few have said to have seen them, Cprime18 is the first to contact us with photographic evidence. These two were found at a Target in San Antonio Texas. This wave is particularly infamous for the size discrepency between the two toys with Lockdown being the same height as a Generations deluxe and Jazz being far smaller than that. However, these wave 2 voyagers are seldom discussed and have yet to reach saturation. It seems people are on the fence, especially due to them being a heftier price tag in certain areas.
