Early or not, the first wave of Transformers: Classics seems to be on its way. It appears they're shipping as the UK-based
exulted_unicron has told us has just received them: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Rodimus and Astrotrain. He ordered them from online retailer
Play.com.
Pictures are pending, but the main thing is that Hasbro are possibly shipping them sooner than expected, and the wave will be in stock at other retailers soon.

Rodimus of
Transformersnewzealand.com is reporting that Transformers Classics will be released in New Zealand Toyworld on October 22, 2006. This could mean that the Classics figures will show up in New Zealand before the they do in the United States, because Hasbro has announced that the Classics will not be out until Novemeber. Here is Rodimus' original post:
"well I was in my local toyworld checking out if there was any new stock and I asked the manager when the next lot will be in and he said the next cybertron voyagers/ultras + tf titaniums should be out in the next few days then he said there was a new tf line out on october the 22nd called the classics the pic he showed me was a bumble bee out of box and a hot rod in box i als saw info on the tf attacktix but was more interested in the classic stuff I will try and see if i can get any other info on the classics"

Kickback of
TFW2005 has posted another update about information of upcoming Transformers releases. This time Kickback reports more Titanium releases and Movie information. Kickback's post also includes a possible movie scene spoiler. Here is what Kickback posted:
"This is it. The final installation of our Slow News Day series. People love this opportunity everytime I post upcoming news because if I'm wrong, they'll never forget it -- but when I'm right, they're no where in sight to be found.
I'll eventually reveal WHERE I got this information, but I won't reveal from whom, or any specifics.
Here's the juice.
6" Titanium Transforming Characters
- War Within Optimus Prime (known about)
- Megatron (known about)
- War Within Jetfire (known about)
- G1 Scourge (known about)
- War Within Thundercracker (known about)
- Optimus Primal (orange and blue ... BM? Optimal Optimus?)
- Rodimus Prime
- Soundwave
- Starscream
- Cheetor
- The Fallen
- Ultra Magnus
- Megatron
3" Titanium
- Hot Rod
- Thundercracker
- Galvatron
- G1 Prime
- Cliffjumper (repaint)
- Sunstreaker
- Soundwave
- War Within Prime
There are more listings, but I'll get in to that in a moment.
Transformers the Movie
I don't know how much of this I can go in to. I have exact descriptions of certain scenes, I have names of characters (based on toy listings), and I have licensing information. But I'll start with the little stuff.
Your Transformers Movie Headquarters is...
Target! Apparently they had a choice between choosing Spiderman-3 (now a Hasbro toy property?) or Transformers, and Target chose to go with Transformers. They will be the place to get things like Transformers gift cards, and stuff with Transformers all over. Think back to things like the original Spiderman, Star Wars Ep 2 and 3, and The Hulk. That kind of promotion stuff going on.
Apparently you can't put the Transformers name on your product without adhering to a certain agreement -- your product has to have the ablility to "transform" ... think sweatshirt with the ability to transform in to a hoody, or something to that effect.
As for movie scenes?
SPOILER!
Optimus Prime/Starscream chase scene, through a busy street. Lots of transforming, leaping over cars, transforming back. Apparently you get scenes like Transformers fighting on city buildings, blowing up, shooting through buildings, typical Michael Bay stuff. Bumblebee starts as a 74 Camaro, eventually turns in to a 07 (or 08?) Camaro, the frist new model in awhile. GM is planning to promote this new Camaro through Transformers quite a bit ... can we say Alternators Bumblebee? (speculation) A couple of these scenes seem to mimic the script Tony B reviewed awhile back, FYI
The first toys listed for the Transformers movie are all in the 3" Titanium line. Heard a whisper (NOT CONFIRMED) that Soundwave is OUT of the movie altogether now, not even Soundbyte. Again, NOT CONFIRMED.
And that's it! No, I won't tell you the toy names. So don't ask.
Enjoy."

Kickback of
TFW2005.com has recieved some new information on forthcoming Transformers Classics and Titanium releases. The source wishes to remain anonymous, but Kickback asures us this is 'the real deal'.
He writes:
Transformers Classics
- Cliffjumper
- Ramjet
I do not know their size. I do not know if Cliffjumper is a redeco or a repaint. Same goes for Ramjet. All I know is they are listed as upcoming products in the Classics line. No, nothing about a Skywarp or Thundercracker. Sorry
- Grimlock
I've seen a couple pictures. Color sheet that was shown a few weeks back looks pretty spot-on. Looks to be pretty posable, even in T-Rex form. Overall, if you can get past the different transformation (from what we've seen in pictures and the color sheet) from what we're used to, he should be a pretty good figure.
- Mirage
The best way to describe his robot mode is to have you think Energon Prowl, but not so kiddy-feeling. He does resemble G1 Mirage in vehicle mode, but he looks more like Energon Prowl in robot mode. Not sure on posability, picture was pretty small
- Jetfire
This figure could be the best figure in the line. If you enjoyed the G1 style for the jet mode, you're in luck - it's pretty much the same, even with the extra red armor/weaponry thingy whatever (I do not own a G1 Jetfire). In robot mode, he resembles mostly the G1 toy, but does have what feels like a G1 cartoon chest. Apparently he has two heads/faces? (like in War Within, a "battle mask" or whatever, so he has both cartoon and G1 toy faces/heads). Not entirely sure, couldn't tell in the picture, was actually told that.
- Mini-Cons
They're in Transformers Classics packaging. But I'm not sure if they are considered "Classics" figures, or if Hasbro is just continuing the Mini-Con releases but in Classics packaging. Most of everything coming out this fall is in the same Classics packaging, so it's hard to say. The name Nightscream was mentioned as one of the Mini-Cons. Something else about a tank, helicopter, and a boat? Again, I'm not sure, that was word of mouth, no pictures.
Transformers Titanium
The most notable figures coming out are in the 6" transformable portion of the line. I only recall a few of them and will have to double check on the rest, but here's what I got.
6" Transformable
- Optimus Primal
- Cheetor
- Ultra Magnus
- Someone from War Within? Checking...
Names listed, unsure of size
- Rodimus
- Galvatron
- Sunstreaker
- Predaking
I saw a picture of the 6" Scourge. He is G1. He does look just like the cartoon, colors and everything. And I have to agree with those who have mentioned they've seen it - he looks awesome.
That's all I have for today.
Tomorrow?
Transformers Attatix, Star Wars Transformers, and the end of Transformers Cybertron.

Update from Kickback:
"I can't believe I forgot this - the new Titanium 6" War Within figure is The Fallen."
