We've known for a little while now that a Studio Series 86 Prowl would be coming to the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line and now we're getting our first look. Thanks to an
eBay auction we have what appears to be our first look at said figure. It's unknown if Hasbro is going to call it "dead", "dying" or simply battle damaged, but what we do know is that it has a new chest and head while in usual living Prowl colors. The damaged spot on his chest appears to even have a spot for an effect part to fully recreate his demise. No word yet on exactly when we can expect this to show up in stores, but we'll be sure to let you know when we know. Thanks to Sowndwave76 for making us aware of this figure!

Seibertron member,
carytheone, has directed us to
CarScoops.com, which has revealed that General Motors are to be auctioning off four of its Transformers Movie Camaros from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight. The car itself was as much of a star as the Transformers themselves and even the actors, so the interest is bound to be high. These are surely the auctions for “big bucks” Car Collectors, Transformers Collectors and Movie Memorabilia collectors worldwide.
The action is set for January the 19th, 2018 at Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tickets can be bought on the Barret-Jackson website and the list of the four auctions are -
Lot 3009 - 2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS” AND “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN”
Lot 3009.1 - 2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON”
Lot 3009.2 - 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION”
Lot 3009.3 - 2016 CHEVROLET CAMARO “TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT”
Will you be attending the event or even attempting a purchase of these cars? Do you feel that General Motors is merely selling the cars off in retaliation to Bumblebee's self-titled movie appearance as a Volkswagen Beetle? Feel free to drop your opinion in here on the
Energon Pub here on Seibertron.com!

The last time we heard from James Eatock / cerealgeek77 back
here, he had some more concept art for the Generation 1 Transformers animated series - and we've been contacted yet again for another batch of art!
This time, the auctions up on eBay feature the likes of Hound, Brawn, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Cliffjumper, the inside and outside of the Ark as it crashed on Earth, the oil rig from the first episode in the series, the Cybertron terminal, Soundwave as a lamp post, and a lovely cel print of Cybertron itself, in its lineart glory.
Not included in the auctions, as James will be keeping it for himself, is a concept piece for Cliffjumper, as explained below:
Here I present a never-before-seen concept illustration (circa 1983) of the Autobot CLIFFJUMPER by Marvel Productions!
- Included in the huge batch of Marvel Productions' Transformers artwork I acquired were a bunch of concept illustrations which appear to be the EARLIEST renditions of certain characters - These illustrations were definitely created in-house at Marvel Productions, and were definitely based on the toys - HOWEVER, it would appear that the artist was taking HUGE liberties with their robot forms - Those I've shown these illustrations to agree that it's quite possible that they relate to the shelved pilot-script that Jeffry Scott wrote titled "A Robot's Best Friend Is His Dog"

Following their
reveal at SDCC we've got some brand new pictures, and eBay listings of Studio Series
Dropkick and
KSI Sentry!
Dropkick is from the forthcoming Bumblebee movie and is one of two main Decepticons in the film, and while in it he's a triple changer, going from a helicopter to a muscle car, here he's just a helicopter.
KSI Sentry is supposed to represent a generic KSI made transformer featured in the Age of Extinction. While there is no direct match in the movie, this is a redeco of Stinger, the red Bumblebee-like bot from the same film.
The eBay user who has listed both of these seems to have a limited quantity available but they should be hitting retail soon enough.
Are you looking forward to these new additions to the Studio Series line? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

We have some new, potentially spoiler-filled news from the upcoming Transformers Bumblebee Movie, due in cinemas this December 2018, in the form of an auction of a movie prop over on
Screenused.com!
Their latest issue is auctioning off a Willys Jeep which is supposed to be the first alt mode for Bumblebee himself, in the opening - though not the opening opening, as we saw that it will be set on Cybertron
here - as we saw in the trailer, and as confirmed in the San Diego Comic Con 2018 footage from the panel (while pursued by John Cena / Agent Burns, and Blitzwing). All of this happens before he takes on the iconic Volkswagen beetle mode. You can check out the auction below, and some screencaps from the
trailer to confirm the alt mode jeep parts, and join the conversation!

Have you ever considered owning some original comics art from the old Marvel UK days in the Transformers comics series? Today may be your lucky day, as veteran artist Andrew Wildman - who also collaborates with IDW Publishing on covers and back on the ReGeneration One mini-series - is auctioning some original pages from his work back in the day, recently resurfaced in his personal art folders.
The auctions can be fund on his personal eBay account
here, and seem to feature a number of pages from Race with the Devil (The Transformers 215-218) and Survivors! (The Transformers 219-222). Check them out below, and happy bidding!
Many moons ago I used to work on the UK edition of TRANSFORMERS. Published by Marvel UK it was one of a number of titles that came out of the London office. At the time I was working on Thundercats but my work came to the attention of the Transformers editor, a certain Mr Simon Furman. Yes, that one. He asked me to work on the book.
That was back in 1988. Here we are 30 years later and some of that original art has come to light. The pages are from about ’89. As they have been kept in a portfolio for the last thirty years they are in really great condition. I have put them all up on eBay so that some lucky person can have it in their possession, rather than it just sitting in a drawer in my studio.

Many of you may remember the original storyboards for 1986's Transformers: The Movie that
went up for auction on eBay a couple days ago (the listing is still ongoing by the way, if you're still interested in checking them out)! Well now, from the same eBay seller, we have an auction of the original storyboards for 1985's Generation 1 cartoon episode City of Steel.
Aficionados of the old cartoon may recognise City of Steel as "that episode where Optimus Prime got disassembled and turned into a robot alligator", and the storyboards up for sale do indeed cover that scene, as well as other memorable moments (like Sideswipe wrestling Starscream's jet mode in midair) and other deleted or revised scenes that didn't make it into the final episode.
Check out some images from the eBay listing (and the item description) below, view the listing
here, and place a bid if you're interested and have some money to burn! As always, if you have any thoughts feel free to let us know in the Energon Pub forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more Transformers news as it comes.
Transformers City of Steel Original Production Storyboards 1985
This is an original set of storyboards for the October 17th 1985 Transformers episode City of Steel, by Douglas Booth. These were obtained from the Sunbow studio back in the late 1980’s and kept in a dry, smoke-free environment far from harmful UV. These boards are hand-labeled Nelson, making this most likely Transformers producer (and AKOM studio owner) Nelson Shin’s personal copy. The storyboard features deleted and revised scenes, giving a rare glimpse into the production process of a three-decade-old cartoon episode. The boards have been authenticated by noted Transformers expert Jim Sorenson.
Transformers storyboards are incredibly hard to come by. They seem to turn up only every few years, and often sell for thousands of dollars. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity! If you need any more information just ask. Lots more pictures below, take a look!
Please note this is very heavy, shipping will registered mail, fully insured, due to the rarity and weight. Due to ongoing problems I will NOT ship to anywhere in Asia other than Japan or anywhere in South America or the Middle East.

We were contacted directly by Transformers collector, archivist, and vault of knowledge Jim Sorenson, with another auction that may interest fans out there who seek for Transformers: The Movie memorabilia and artistic collectibles - such as the original animation cells or scripts previously newsed on this site - and this time, we have something fairly juicy for the right household: a Reduction Master edition of the storyboards for the animated feature!
The full information about the item (which has been confirmed as legitimate) can be read below, and the auction can be found
here. If this is something that might interest you, happy bidding!
Transformers The Movie 1986 ORIGINAL STORYBOARDS Full set 1000 pages
This is an original set of storyboards for the 1986 Transformers Animated Movie. These were obtained from the Sunbow studio back in the late 1980’s and kept in a dry, smoke-free environment far from harmful UV. This is the “Reduction Master Storyboard”, meaning it is one of the earliest generations of storyboards made during the production the film. (Storyboards are generally illustrated quite large; to make them more portable, and thus more convenient to be referenced, they are REDUCED in size to fit four illustrations to a page. Hence, “Reduction Master”)
The storyboard script features deleted scenes and incredible production artwork. It also offers a fascinating glimpse at what’s NOT in the movie, as some scenes were boarded and then cut BEFORE the creation of the Reduction Masters, or updated by the artist to reflect changes in the flow of the film. The legacy of these changes are represented by a blank square labeled “Out”.
The storyboards are approximately 500 pages long, each page double sided. The storyboards were created to plan out the design of every shot in the film. (It does not include ALL the known deleted scenes as some had already been cut by this point) The set does have some minor wear & wear to the edges, it is over 30 years old! A rare opportunity to get an amazing Transformers holy grail item. The boards have been authenticated by noted Transformers expert Jim Sorenson.
Please note this is very heavy, shipping will registered mail, fully insured, due to the rarity and weight. Due to ongoing problems I will NOT ship to anywhere in Asia other than Japan or anywhere in South America or the Middle East.
