Fresh and energized before an inevitable turkey-coma, the Twincast / Podcast is back to present our latest episode. Join host Scotty P as he sits down with the mysterious Punch, as well as our second potential new friend, SW's Silverhammer.
Episode #106 "McCarthyism" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We start out by taking a look at the potentially not as easy to get MP Exhaust and his battle against the forces of Philip Morris and the US Government. Will the Decepticons succeed in driving the cast to chain smoke for the rest of the episode? Or will the Truth campaign prevail? Neither of these things are addressed as we pick apart this tale of when the worlds of legal agreements and import Japanese Masterpiece Transformers collide.
Smoooooooke.
We then take a trip back into the Movieverse and take a look at the awfully tempting paint job of Takara Tomy's AD-31 Armor Knight Optimus Prime. Is this a case of taking advantage of lower costs, or a premium piece that the cast will be avoiding?
You will buy me, or I will kill you.
Generations takes center stage next when we have a chat about the initial Combiner Wars wave now that there are official images from Hasbro of these upcoming toys. Find out who's happy, who's soured, and who just takes things as they are.
Crotch elbows got nothin' on chest shoulders.
In our special topic of sorts for the episode, we take a look at some older toys that have worked their way back into our hearts over the years. What toys have you re-discovered a love for lately? Maybe it's something you didn't appreciate before, or maybe something completely ignored years and years ago. Either way, let us know what kind of Transformers stuff you've either re-discovered or newly discovered recently by replying to this post. It doesn't have to be all about toys either!
Sailing back into your heart, and the world of the living.
We then move on to comics talk (starts at 55:21, skip to 1:22:56 or so to avoid spoilers), first by exploring the return of Shane McCarthy to the Transformers world in this month's Drift: Empire of Stone #1. Does Drift return to bring the fandom its favorite thing? We don't think so, plus, yours truly gets all hypocritical with the artwork given how Regeneration One went, so tune in for that fun and more.
Drift's a dandy guy, doing dandy things, in space.
Then we move on to the latest chapter in the complex space opera landscape of More Than Meets the Eye #35. Has the cast had enough of this time travel business? And what's Brainstorm been up to? Full on spoiler warning continues for this section, so be warned!
Get the getaway car, Counterpunch, he's figured out the show!
On a somber and/or cynical note, we chat about the layoffs at Jagex, the company responsible for the Transformers Universe MMO game that never quite got into the air. Listen in to our compelling discussion as no one is surprised by this turn of events.
A visual representation of hopes for this project.
We then finish off with some Bragging Rights. Prepare to be dazzled by our tens of collective additions!
Lots of Maketoys in this one.
That wraps things up for another episode! We sincerely hope you enjoy this one.

Fellow Seibertron user TransBat saw something strange while looking at his netflix Instant Queue and wanted to give a heads up to those fans who may have wanted to watch their Transformers related media on Netflix while they could.
I noticed this morning when I logged into Netflix and examined my Instant Queue, the Transformers G1, Transformers: Rescue Bots, Transformers Prime/Beast Hunters (although not the Predacons Rising movie), and other shows like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and JEM are scheduled to leave/expire on January 1, 2015.
I realize this could just be a tentative expiration date and a new contract could be negotiated with Hasbro/Netflix before the date arrives, but thought I'd provide a heads up.
TransBat is probably right in his deduction that this is just a tentative expiration date and that the rights to the show will be renewed. But you never know, and we wouldn't want fans to miss out on these shows if ever they truly are to be removed come January.
The last we heard the Takara Tomy Transformers/Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover redeco of Masterpiece MP-10 in Unit 01 deco, we saw the third installment of the story accompanying the release. Now, the Takara website has been updated with the fourth episode (in Japanese) - which can be found here - and new artwork. Why? The figure has just been released in Japan to those who preordered this expensive limited edition! Did you get in?
Fellow Seibertronian Powered Convoy has pointed us towards the scans of the latest issue of Japanese hobby magazine Figure King, recently obtained by fellow fan-site The AllSpark - featuring a lengthy interview with Generations/Legends Arcee designer Hironori Kobayashi (in Japanese, of course), and more images of Takara Tomy products like the QT line, D-style Megatron, PS One Optimus Prime and Amazon exclusive Age of Extinction Hound. Check out the mirrored images below!
Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host for the evening, Counterpunch, along with ScottyP, Seibertron, Razorclaw0000, and special guest and prospective cast member Megatronus! This episode catches us on the latest events in the IDW universe and has a look at the vast number of toys releasing on both sides of the world in the next few months.
Episode 105 is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
First up, we play a bit of catch up with Counterpunch and say hello to Megatronus!
The cast then catches up on the latest More Than Meets the Eye and Robots In Disguise offerings from IDW. Spoilers run from approximately 7 minutes in, to 34 minutes.
At 1:00, we bring it back to toys, this time from the Generations and Legends lines, and take a hard look at the HD version of the Combiner Wars reveal.
Next, we discuss the in hand issues discovered in Generations Brainstorm, and ways to mitigate at 1:18.
We round out the toy talk by doing some math on Takara's Kreon Capsule figures at 1:35.
At 1:40, we take a look at the recently released Transformers Cloud Story Art, and wonder why Roadbuster is sweating...
Finally, we close the show out with bragging rights from 1:47 on.

Per CNBC analyst Tom DiChristopher Disney could be a major obstacle standing in the way of Hasbro's purchase of DreamWorks Animation. In other words Disney must approve this deal! Hasbro has a very lucrative contract with Walt Disney to produce toys based on their Star Wars and Marvel Comics properties. Senior Analyst Steph Wissink at Piper Jaffray estimates that 25 to 30 percent of Hasbro's business is tied up with Disney. Hasbro owning Disney's biggest rival animation studio could present a huge problem.
After DreamWorks' recent box-office disappointments, including "Turbo" and "Rise of the Guardians." CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, also held talks with another potential buyer, Japanese telecommunications giant SoftBank.
