A new listing has been posted over at Amazon.com for what may be a movieverse related hardcover book for the Transformers.
Transformers: Exodus, authored by
Alex Irvine and published by Del Rey Books, is the latest known addition to Transformers literature. Not much is known on what the book will actually be based on, but given the publishers previous release of the Tranformers Movieverse prequel book
Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday, we can only assume that it will somehow fit in between the end of Revenge of the Fallen and beginning of Transformers 3 (Official Title not yet known).
Details that are available for the book are as follows:
* Hardcover: 352 pages
* Publisher: Del Rey (June 22, 2010)
* Language: English
* ISBN-10: 034551985X
* ISBN-13: 978-0345519856
* Shipping Information: View shipping rates and policies
* Amazon.com Sales Rank: #126,795 in Books (See Bestsellers in Books)

Seibertron member bvzxa has got his hand on the Fansproject's City Commander weapon upgrade set. He is kind enough to do a toy review on this set.
See below to check out what he has to say:
" So did you drop your preorder with BBTS, well I did so I could get it early and slightly cheaper from TFSource.
Very simple bag style so you can store it in your CC's box.
The instructions for how to use the upgrade kit. Note: Those who have the CC '08 set cannot store the gun in cannon mode!!
Besides the missiles, you get three faceplates to use. Why more than the other '09 City Commander set? Because when you remove the original faceplate from the '08 CC set, the faceplate will probably get slightly scuffed up because it's slightly wider then the ones that come with the upgrade kit. It was very difficult to remove the faceplate, and it won't go back in. However with the CC upgrade kit you get a newer version of the '08 CC faceplate, but the eyes are painted white. There is another faceplate like that of the Shadow Commander set, but painted white and gray, and the last one is the open mouth faceplate for a 'OMG' look on CC. The nicks removed the paint from the first faceplate, and they are red, so the original mold color is red but painted silver.
Ok, the missile launchers attach by notches that slide in the top part of the CC trailer for those who own the '08 CC set, like I have. I assume on the '09 set, they attach thru with the peg ends. Very slick engineering Fans Project!!!
Now the gun.....
First, you cannot use the rifle mode when the armour is attached because the gun won't fit. So to change it to cannon mode you slide the bottom of the gun out, pull the back of the gun down, and flip it over and....
Now to the faceplates in action:
Here's views of CC '08 with upgrade gun attached to the leg with newer original faceplate on:
Now out for battle:
Final thoughts:
Impressed 100%. They could have even charged more, but the little add-on does a lot. The plastic is not cheap at all. Though the missiles feel loose a bit, they are sculpted well. I love the faceplate that resmbles the mask, a little weary of the open mouth plate, love the slightly retooled replacement. Also, the missiles will come out, but they don't launch or shoot out. There is no type of launcher spring in them at all. No biggie, let's hopr they do one for the Shadow Commander set too, maybe a new gun and different sword. I think they will. Thanks FP."
Stay tuned to Seibertron for all your latest information on Transformers.

Out rolls the memorabilia, as 反冲 of ACToys.net gives us an image of the
N.E.S.T. Global Alliance Iron On Patch. This patch resembles the logo that is featured on the Global Alliance tagline packaging. There are no strings attached, as it comes with the 2 pack box set of
N.E.S.T. Soundwave, a repaint of
Deluxe Soundwave and
Bumblebee, a redeco of
Cannon Bumblebee.

Online toy retailer TFSource.com now has the FansProject TFX-03 City Commander add-on set in stock and has updated their website with photos of what's included. As was known from earlier news from FP, we're getting repainted missile launchers that match the classic red and white scheme of G1 Magnus, along with a very cool transforming gun. What hadn't been disclosed before is that the set also includes three new face plates for your City Commander's head! Interestingly, the re-release of the City Commander armor, which includes the gun and missile launchers, only has two face plates included.
The new designs are all pretty unique and should add a whole new dimension for collectors to display their City Commander armor.
To see all the photos on the TFSource site, click
HERE
And as a reminder, this set is not an officially licensed Hasbro or Takara product.
