Thanks to a War For Cybertron preview by the folks over at AusGamers, an Australian Games Community, we get to know a little bit more about the game. Not only that, but certain voice actors have also been revealed. While we knew that revered voice actor Peter Cullen would be voicing Optimus, his nemesis Megatron will be voiced by James Remar. Starscream will be voiced by Doug Parker, who is familiar with Transformers as he's been the voice for Beast Wars Terrorsaur and Armada/Energon Tidal Wave/Mirage. Lastly a character familiar to those who have followed IDW's Transformers Comics - Optimus's predecessor Zeta Prime will be voiced by the legendary Leonard Nimoy. Takara Tomy has updated the Transformers Animated website with new information on the recently announced Sega Arcade Games for Transformers Animated - The Chase & The Shooting.
"The Chase" is a chasing game where the players are having a mission of hunting down the Decepticons rivals. From the arcade machine, the main controllers for the players are the steering wheels. So it is presume that the players will have a lot of driving to do.
As for the "The Shooting", this is the first person shooter type of game.
Another interesting point is that the players can get the Animated game cards before the game. The game cards enable the players to enter their particulars and save all the important progress of the games.

Sega Japan has announced that they will release 2 versions of Arcade Games for Transformers Animated.
The first version is "Transformers Animated: The Chase" & the second game is "Transformers Animated: The Shooting".
The first game "The Chase" is a hunting game that chase after the rival Transformers, whereas the "The Shooting" will be the gun shooting game.
Further details will be revealed in upcoming 2010 Tokyo International Anime Fair, to be held from 25th March 2010.

Several familiar characters have surfaced in this latest screenshots. We've got Bumblebee who's able to carry a broadsword, Starscream with his mace, and the first views of Jetfire.

IGN.com has released a new video regarding the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron game from High Moon studios.
This new video is titled Behind the scenes and gives us an inside look of the game and the work that has been put into it. It also answers a few questions we might have had about the game, like that Bumblebee was the first design made and that this is in deed based on the Transformers Generation 1 Universe.
Want even more info on the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron video game? Well, Matt Tieger, Game Director for High Moon Studios, the group that is devloping the game for Activision recently provided just that.
Tieger was in San Francisco for the annual Game Developer's Conference (also known as GDC10) and took some time to discuss the making of the game as well as some things to look out for. Right now Spike TV's Game Trailers Television seems to have the scoop on the game, as they were the one's that offered the first 'Gameplay' trailer. Would you play a multiplayer video game in which you only controlled one limb of a character, while your friends controlled the others?
Looks like we won't be seeing any 'combiners' in the upcoming Transformers video game, War For Cybertron. As reported by the Godzilla of video game websites 'Kotaku', we won't be playing with the likes of Devastator, Superion and so forth. Check out a snippet of the article below...
Matt Tieger, lead designer of the War for Cybertron games, said that this is an idea his team has thought of, but it doesn't seem like it would ever work. Consider the gamer who would play as the Mixmaster of Scrapper, the Constructicons who formed Devastator's legs. Said Tieger: "They guy who is the kneecap, what does he do?"
