The beast hunt continues! The highly anticipated Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Voyager Wave 1 has been spotted at retail. This initial wave of Voyagers features a redesigned Optimus Prime and debuts the Predacon faction leader Predaking. The figures were sighted at a California Wal-Mart by our own joevill

Seibertron member ebeforei stopped by the Energon Pub with a video review of Takara Tomy's recently released Transformers Prime Arms Micron AM-32 Wild Rider. The figure is repaint/retool of the Deluxe Wheeljack mold featuring a brand new head mold. Check out his review embedded below.
ebeforei wrote:Here is Takara/Tomy Transformers Prime Deluxe Stunticon Wildrider. Using Prime RiD Wheeljack's mold (again) - Is this guy worth importing? Well... he just might be, and then you thrown in an elephant Micron for the win! Your own opinions may vary, but this is a very nice representation of WIldrider.
We've seen Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Twinstrike, an obvious homage to the G1 Terrorcon Sinnertwin, we know a Legion Class Hun-Gurr is on the way, now we can can confirm that homages of all five Terrorcons are headed our way...............and they combine! Courtesy of TFG2 we have our first look at the Target exclusive Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Abominus gift set. Scheduled to release this Fall, the set features Hun-Gurr, Twinstrike (Sinnertwin), Rippersnapper, Windrazor (Cutthroat), and Blight (Blot) who combine to form Abominus! Check out the image mirrored below.
e-Hobby has uploaded a second video showcasing their shared exclusive collaboration with TFCC Shattered Glass Soundwave vs. Blaster. Check out the video embedded below.

The Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Vehicles Wave 1 have been sighted at retail. Well technically only the Sky Claw with Smokescreen was sighted, but this wave also features the Apex Hunter Armor with Breakdown. The set was purchased at a Humble, TX Wal-Mart by Zatara1701, who was kind enough to provide us with some in-hand images of the Sky Claw with Smokescreen along with a quick review.
Zatara1701 wrote:Just a few things to review the Sky Claw. First of all, out of the box there are two noteable things 1) Smokescreen is obviously mistransformed in the box as per my pictures 2) This thing is REALLY cool!! I bought the Jackhammer just because it was Wheeljack's and it's in the show... But this little vehicle is way cooler in design and execution to me. It's bigger than the Jackhammer (included comparison pic of the two), Sky Claw lacks the unimpressive LED function of the Jackhammer, but it makes up in style and function. I took a pic of the back of the box so everyone can see what it can do, so I am not going to waste time listing all of them. I tried to take pics of the different configurations.
Side bar...Smokescreen- he is pretty cool. He comes with a gun/sword weapon (NOTE: that is taped inside the bottom of the box under the Sky Claw, so keep your eyes peeled for it). Standard Legion size set up...don't expect too much articulation, but he is still cool for what he is. Smokescreen OBVIOUSLY has an alternate paint job that's blue and yellow (someone else feel free to make reference to what it may be an homage too, it's 11PM and I have no idea), and he has #7 on his doors. Despite the alternate paint job and lack of articulation, he is a cool little figure and worthy of joining my Cyberverse shelf
I hope this helps anyone in doubt about purchasing this vehicle when you see it. I just got it cuz it looked cool and my toy instincts didnt fail me.
It looks like Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Twinstrike, an homage to G1 Terrorcon Sinnertwin, will be getting a partner in crime! Japanese online retailer Red Mercury has listed pre-orders for Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legions Hun Grrr, Prowl, and Soundwave. You may recall we already got a look at Soundwave via Hasbro's instruction archive earlier this month. Unfortunately no images accompany these pre-order, but Toy Fair is next weekend. Here's hoping we get a look at these guys and much more.
With Botcon 2013 only 5 months away, the first of the figures has been revealed on the cover of Transformers Collectors Club Magazine #49. That figure is Hoist! He is a repaint of Generations Sargeant Kup with a new head and a lot more detailing than Hoist's original figure.
Botcon 2013 is in San Diego this year from June 27-30. Check out BotCon.com for more information.
What appears to be a Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Voyager prototype has appeared on the Chinese social website weibo. The figure appears to be a heavy retool of the "Robots in Disguise" Voyager Optimus Prime mold, and is speculated to be the rumored "Beast Hunters" Voyager Ultra Magnus. As you can see below the figure features many similarities to Ultra Magnus as he appears in IDW's Transformers Prime: Rage of the Dinobots miniseries.
Good news for those who like their triple changers voyager class. Seibertron sponsor Robotkingdom has listed preorders for a couple new and surprising Fall of Cybertron voyager class figures. This new listing reveals figures for FoC Springer and Astrotrain. There are no pictures yet and the photo is just for reference only, perhaps we will get a better look at the upcoming Toy Fair. The pair looks to be releasing in June.
