AnimationHQ announces on their website that Mainframe Entertainment, who have brought us Transformers Beast Wars and Beast Machines in the past, has started production on its 1st theatrical animated CGI feature film, with John Williams (Shrek) producing. The company hopes to have the film in theaters in 2005, with a new feature film following every two years thereafter.

After Cartoon Network announced that Armada would replace Energon until (at least) the end of June, fans around the world could be heard collectively scratching their heads (causing a run on Head and Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo). Why would Cartoon Network replace a new show with a show that´d run its course? Well, speculation at the moment points to Atari. That´s right, Atari. Makers of Frogger, Yars Revenge, and the new Transformers video game. The Transformers game based on Armada. Starting to see the pattern here? You´re not alone. The replacement of Energon with Armada may be an attempt to generate more interest in the game, which is due out very shortly. Considering most older fans find the show to be an insult to all things Transformer, this might turn out to be counter productive...

Rumor has it that Hasbro is quite pleased with the success of the TF:U line. So, there may be a chance of seeing a CGI TF:Universe video similar to the GI:Joe "Ultimate Ninja Showdown" tape/DVD that was included with the Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadown 2-pack several months ago. Could this be legit? If it is, it would certainly force some of the fans who´ve been holding out on the line some incentive to pick up a Universe item...

There´s currently a rumour around that the UK is going to get the new Transformers PS2 game a whole week earlier than expected - so it could be hitting stores on May 7th - 4 days before the US launch! It is also suggested that there will be also be limited edition packaging available, dubbed the ´Focal Pack´. We´ll be getting in touch with UK retailers to clarify the situation, so keep you eyes peeled for an update on this exciting development!

It appears that the prototypes seen of G1 Targetmaster Stepper may not be Hasbro´s after all... Considering the people involved with these particular rumblings, this very well could wind up being true. According to a friendly spokesperson from Hasbro New Zealand, Six Shot and Shockblast are two different figures. However, there is no definate release date, but is expected to be shipped much later on in the year.
Both figures are in the Mega assortment of Energon toys. There is still speculation that this toy could be the Hasbro version of Superlink Wing Sabre
