Just like the previous year, we have some more news directly from Hasbro regarding their recent reveal of Transformers Movie Masterpiece MPM-06 Ironhide, as seen at the private event at Royal Pacific Hotel for Hong Kong Toys media, taking place alongside (but not part of) the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2018 (see here for our coverage), and to accompany the initial first official image of the figure.

Sporting his 2007 live-action Paramount movie look, the Autobot weapons specialist now also has a bio, a description of the toy, images of the articulation points, and a release date of Fall 2018 - but no price point at the time of writing. Check it all out below!

Fans have been adding more images to Hobbymizer's Facebook page regarding the Transformers toys shown at the private press event organized by Hasbro for Hong Kong toy media representatives. We have taken several from that page to share them with you below. We have Ironhide compared to MPM Bumblebee in both modes and compared to MPM Optimus Prime as well. Fellow Seibertronian Mr Black has sent us word that Hasbro has released the official stock photo of MPM 06 Movie Masterpiece Ironhide. This was posted on the official Transformers Facebook page along with the words "Ironhide is here and this crafty vet is ready for action". This figure was revealed at the Hong Kong Toy Fair earlier today where he was shown next to other MPM figures, such as prime and Bumblebee. Him being in between the two when it comes to height suggests that his price may be in between the two as well (around the $90 mark). We do not have a release date for this toy.

We have included a render and screenshot of Ironhide's CG model for you to compare with this toy. Do you find his proportions fine? And is that indeed fake vehicle kibble in robot mode when it comes to the grill? This would not be the first time for Ironhide since the Dark of the Moon leader class figure also had that. As promised yesterday, the Hong Kong Toy Fair did indeed have the full reveal from Hasbro of figures from the Transformers Movie Masterpiece line - though it was a private toy media press event at the Royal Pacific Hotel, and not at the Fair itself, and with MPM Bumblebee present as a comparison yardstick - featuring a good look at MPM-5 Barricade (whose thread can be found here) and the newcomer Autobot heavy weapons specialist: MPM-6 Ironhide!

The images and video below are from the same Hobbymizer Facebook page that broke the news yesterday, and we hope you can enjoy taking a look for yourselves, as the new Ironhide is compared to Bumblebee and a previous version (the leader class?) of the movie character. According to the Hobbymizer Hong Kong Facebook page, this year's Hong Kong Toy Fair (taking place all of this week, until Thursday 11th) will once more see a special reveal from Hasbro alongside a whole load of officially licensed Transformers merchandise and products.

You might remember that the 2017 edition brought us the official announcement and reveal of both Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee and Transformers: The Last Knight Shadow Spark Optimus Prime. It looks like this year may continue the movie trend with MPM-05 Barricade finally fully shown, plus a special 'secret' second figure to show up - which may very well be MPM-06(?) Ironhide, as previously reported here. The announcements should take place on Tuesday 9th during a press conference with Hasbro at 5 pm Hong Kong time (4am EST/ 1am PST) so stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the coverage!

Voyager Megatron, from the upcoming 2018 Studio Series Transformers toyline, was one of the first toys we ever had solid proof of. We had a few images form Weibo but they were either small or blackened out in certain parts (as can be seen below). But now, we have the same image of the back of the box, also from Weibo, that shows the toy not obstructed by neither a black marker or a watermark, letting you get your best look yet at the figure.

For those unaware, this is a new voyager class figure of movie Meagtron in his Revenge of the Fallen body. It is part of the Studio Series line, a toyline that will feature Transformers from all across the different live action films, from the 2007 movie and even the newest Bumblebee movie. It also seems to be the way that Hasbro will be releasing the more traditional Transformers figures for the Bumblebee film instead of them appearing in a line just for that film. The 2018 Bumblebee movie line will instead feature the toys that are either simpler or gimmick based. Since Age of Extinction, Hasbro has tried to distinguish the toys that would interest collectors from the toys meant only for children and the Studio Series line will be used this time for this distinction. The figures should be at the same price points as the Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Edtion toys.

Via Hasbro directly, and the part of their website that caters to media and investors, we have their new Corporate Social Responsibility report for the year 2018 - and along with all the various ways in which the company is pledging its commitments, we also have another look at some fairly small and low resolution renders of the Transformers Authentics character models for Bumblebee, Grimlock, Starscream and Megatron!
