On
ebay.com the Transformers Energon repainted version of Jetfire, Overcast, is up for bidding. There are no current bids on it and the starting bid is $30. Time left for bidding on it is about 2.5 days at the time of this post. Now that this figure has popped up on eBay, it's probably only a matter of a couple of months until Overcast shows up in US and Canadian stores.

While searching for a copy of "Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, Zzyss of the 2005 Boards was contacted by Dymocks, an Australian bookstore, who had the following to say:
"This book is apparently a new version of the Transormers Ultimate Guide which came out last year (isbn 14053046180). Last years version is out of print and essentially unobtainable. The new version will not be released until June 2005 acording to the book's distributor Penguin. Price I understand will be about the same - $40."
However, this e-mail doesn't mention whether or not this will be a second print run or a revised version.

Well, the headline basically says it all. I just got a reply to an E-Mail I had send Rhino Home Video, about the possible release date for the Beast Machines DVD boxes. The following was their reply.
"We do not have any current plans for this release, but thanks for your input. I'll forward your letter to our suggestion box.
Dr. Rhino"

We've got some
nifty images for you guys, including BT Overdrive, with a gun barrel, (though this may be a pre-production shot!), Fang Wolf and DinoShout in colored form, and the first good look at the Micron Booster V. 3 set we reported a month or so ago.
Nevermore of the 2005 boards has provided name translations:
Refute is now "Clamp"
Crumplezone is now "Trigger"
Incinerator is now "Wrench"
Six-Speed/Brit becomes "Socket"
Reverb/Bumper becomes "Plier"
Jolt/Hop becomes "Bit"
Street Speed Team becomes "Dice", "Jack" and "Plug"
Nightbeat becomes "Gauge"
The Dead End repaints are "Bug General" and "Bug Drone"
Further on, you'll see two Emergency Team repaints called "Hellflame Microns", and which have something to do Flame Convoy.
The Prowl repaint is "Quasar" and is exclusive to Ito Yokado, while the Firebolt repaint is renamed "Graviton" and is a Jusco exclusive. These are similar to last year's Windcharger campaign apparently.
