Last summer, around the time of the movie, athletic apparel giant
NIKE introduced a line of collector's shoes (yes, there are folks who collect athletic shoes out there) whose color origins related to Generation 1 Transformers.
You may also remember the collaboration that were the
NIKE Sports Label Transformers- shoes that transform in to robots-.
It appears that NIKE and TRANSFORMERS will be continuing their relationship, at least through the release of the next movie, as they share the release of a new set of collectible shoes.
You can see the new set
here.
With the release of the sequel Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen in June 2009, Nike will launch another Transformer’s pack featuring an Air Max 95 CL, Dunk High, and a Air Max CB ‘94. However, this awesome pack will be only in GS sizes.
These shoes' colors appear to be inpsired by Transformers Movie characters Bumblebee, Megatron, and Optimus Prime, but that is purely speculation.
They are also only be available in youth sizes at the time, but
maybe they'll release adult size versions for those collectors who would love to get these into their athletic shoe collections.

Last week, we saw several leaked figures from Impossible Toys
here but with little details. I followed up with Impossible Toys and their spokesman, William, had this to say:
Now some of these toys are not yet 100% confirmed as it all depends on how sales are on the seven new products that will be released before the end of the year. As sales have not been as strong as we expected with the previous products we released, and as a result we have discontinued them. The discontinued products are:
Quint-01, Quint-02, Quint-03, Quint-04
Kremzeak, Enargon cubes, Spike & Sparkplug
The new products set for release are:
TFA-01
TFA-02
TFA-03
Transforming Exo-suit Spike
Transforming Exo-suit Daniel
Nightbird
Quint-05
So if these do well then we will continue to release TF related toys as this is why we started doing what we do. But if not - we will consider developing toys to fit in with other toy lines that are not TF related. We want to thank everyone who supports what we are trying to do for the fans but if the demand is not there then sadly we can no longer justify doing so. So since the fans would like information on the leaked products we are more then happy to share. Details:
A3, Kranix, and Arbulus
These figures are scaled to be around the size of our Quint series toys (as this scale works best to fit with the G1 series toys). The figures have multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture samples are just prototypes to give us a feel of how we want the toys to look and they are also painted by hand to give an idea of what colors to go with. So if the final product is released the production colors will be more vibrant.
**A3 would be released in two styles and one would be limited.
Guardian
The figure would be released in two styles. It is around one foot tall and has electronic functions and a claw hand that can function as well. Again this scale works best to fit with G1 series toys since he should be a very large based off the series. The figure has multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture sample is just a prototype to give us a feel of how we want the toy to look and it is also painted by hand to give a idea of what colors to go with, So if the final product is released the production colors will be more vibrant.
TFA-01 TFA-02 TFA-03
These figure are scaled so they can display well with deluxe and voyager TFA toys. As in the show- there is no real consistent size so we had to find the best suitable scale. The figure has multiple points of articulation to allow for excellent movement. The current picture samples are just prototypes. So if the final product is released the production colors will also be more vibrant.
Thanks for the support and we hope the provided information helps answer questions. Also as a side note we encourage all fans to visit our forum, email us, or even post on your forum for feedback, as we do listen.
Remember - if you are interested in these figures, notify your favorite online retailer and tell them to stock these.

Our friends over at
TF @ The Moon have posted a nice gallery of the new Chara Hobby exclusive Henkei Wildrider figure. This figure is a repaint of the Henkei/Classics Rodimus mold, and satisfies alot of the TF fans who've been calling out for more Stunitcon love.
In the gallery, we can see the figure at multiple angles along with comparison shots with the original mold figure and the Botcon 2008 Shattered Glass Hot Rod figure.

Walmart.com have updated their online store with two new listings for "Shift Tech Games".
The first Shift Tech game featured Animated Optimus Prime, in a series of minigames that revolved around transforming Prime.
The two new listings include a
Bumblebee Shift Tech Game and an unknown
Shift Tech Assortment, with both listings priced at US$16.50.
While it can be assumed that these new Shift Tech games will be similar in terms of style and gameplay as the first Shift Tech game, further details are not known at this point, but
Seibertron.com will keep you informed as more information comes to hand.

It appears that while looking recently at a Christmas display (do they ever come down?) in a Carlton Cards store, in Exton, PA, Seibertron member
--B--, found the
G1 Megatron Christmas tree ornament.
You can see an online order page for the Carlton Cards Revoltech styled (without the articulation), G1 Megatron
here.
--B-- tells us,
"I picked up the Carlton Cards Megatron Christmas Ornament this weekend. Looks great, almost like a Revoltech with a hook on the top. MSRP of $17.50.
And right now all Ornaments are Buy one get one 50% off, so go in with a friend and get it for a better price!"
Currently, this seems to be our first sighting of this Transformers holiday decoration. No word as to when we may see it at other stores that carry
Carlton Cards Christmas ornaments and cards. If you do find one at another store, be sure to let us know! Last year I know Kohl's had the G1 Optimus Prime, so that may be a place to look for Megatron to appear at in the near future, perhaps when more stores get prepared with their Christmas holiday displays (that would be October around here).

Chara-Hobby exclusive Wildrider and Boss Coffee exclusive Minibots have been spotted on eBay by a few of our members. Both of these figures were released in Japan over the past week.
Henkei Wildrider is a repaint of Hotrod and was released at the C3xHobby convention on August 30th. This figure was sponsored by e-Hobby. The number of sets released is not presently known, though reports claim that the figure sold out quickly.
The Boss Coffee Minibots were launched on August 26th and are part of a special promotion with Boss Rainbow Coffee. These can be obtained by purchasing specially marked Boss Coffee in convenient stores. There are 15 figures in total. Two transforming minibots; 3 Golden figures; and 10 miniture figures. Japanese residents are already reporting that these figures are harder to find than expected. They seem to be only available at select convenient stores and each store seems to be limited to one set.

Wildrider auction.
