The people at DeNA and Mobage have sent us an update for the new Transformers: Legends episode - End of the Road - including some flashy new art to complement it! Take a look below for further details.
Today, DeNA’s thrilling mobile card battle game TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS released a new in-game episode titled End of the Road, which will run fast and furiously through October 29.
This week in TRANSFORMERS LEGENDS…
In a battle that took place eons ago, an ongoing fight against the Decepticons looked very bleak for the Autobots. A fierce and bitter rivalry developed between the Powermasters on both sides. In a Decepticon ambush, the Autobots fought a desperate battle in which Decepticon Powermasters Dreadwind and Darkwing defeated some of the remaining Autobots including their Powermaster counterparts Getaway, Joyride and Slapdash. However, an unsuspected ally halted their victory. On the brink of annihilation, the Autobots managed to survive thanks to Optimus Prime. No match for Optimus, the Decepticons had no choice but to retreat.
Now many years later, the Powermasters run into each other again on Earth, and they have a score to settle! In this episode, it's a classic Autobot vs Decepticon stand-off with jets versus cars and Powermasters vs Powermasters!
Who will be victorious? Find out in this week’s End of the Road episode!
The End of the Road episode allows players to battle and capture three of the Autobot Powermasters:
Boss Easy Campaign: Slapdash
Boss Medium Campaign: Joyride
Boss Hard Campaign: Getaway

Seibertron.com friend and IDW artist Andrew Griffith has dropped by to let us know about an interview he, Mairghread Scott and Livio Ramondelli did with comics news site Newsarama during NYCC. Take a look at the full thing below!
The official Transformers YouTube channel has uploaded another humorous video based on the Construct-Bots, this one being a parody of the trend of having Bumblebee muted and restricted only to beeps and bops. The video has been mirrored below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Comics news site Multiversity Comics has uploaded an episode from the Robots from Tomorrow podcast in which the hosts interview Tom Scioli after NYCC, talking about the upcoming IDW Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover comic. You can also directly download the podcast here.
It’s just been announced that IDW Publishing has brought in Tom Scioli to create a brand new Transformers/G.I. Joe comic. We talk about what it’s like to be handed the reigns to such iconic licences, as well as what he plans to bring to the title in terms of art and narrative. With the long-running Godland coming to a close, and Transformers/G.I. Joe on the horizon, we also take the time to talk about Tom’s career as a whole. He’s an artist who seems to always push his art in new directions, experimenting with line and color to deliver different types of stories in different ways. We’re excited for What he’s got in store for the Joes and the Autobots, and after this talk, you will be too!

Want to know what's in this episode? Check out below for a brief rundown!
Transformers 4: The Age of Extinction Toys
You knew they were coming, but did you know that they were going to possibly look. like. THIS! Who likes the style and who doesn't? What's your impression of how the new movie line will be received after our first images of Age of Extinction Leader Class Optimus Prime were shared via New York Comic Con? The Twincast, of course, shares their open-minded and certainly never pessimistic ideas.
New Masterpiece News!
The next new mold Autobot car has been released, and many of the podcast were lucky enough to have Masterpiece 17 Prowl in-hand to let our listeners know exactly just how much you should want this toy. (We also talk about boobies...I mean hoods, grills, and headlights of a car.)
Weren't we just speaking about masterpieces? Our crew sounds off on what has taken so long to become a reality, and makes an effort to try to convince any US retailers to take a shot at an MP-Ultra Magnus as a store/holiday exclusive. 1986 movie cast rules!
Shout out to Vince Dicola!
We love the 1986 Transformers movie, and thus, we can be moved to want to own everything related to it including the excellent score. Well some of us. Let nothing stand in your way of hearing about this cool music collectible.
Comic chat
The podcast is really looking forward to the IDW DARK CYBERTRON event, and RID 21 discussion and spoilers get us thinking about what will be.
Rise of the Predacons!
The crew of the Twincast discusses the finale of the PRIME and BEAST HUNTERS TV SHOW and recaps some of the entire series' failings, and successes. Some critical analysis of some plot pieces and characters leads us to try to decide on whether or not this was an endeavor that we overall enjoyed, or not, and leads us to wonder what comes next?
Remembering A God
The great Orson Welles, who played his final role for the Transformers franchise as the voice of the biggest TF baddie ever, made fans take note and remember why this actor was so great (Robin Masters voice on MAGNUM PI!) on the anniversary of his passing.
'Small Cast' versus 'Selling Toys' versus 'Gimmicks'
The bridge crew of the ark 78 takes us on a journey for enlightenment as we discuss the new Transformers storytelling style that has been working its way into the media since Beast Wars and what this has meant for our enjoyment of the franchise. Why has the small, central cast become the norm? What does the introduction of new HASBRO/IDW characters and using them in the limited casts mean for those with classic favorites being left out? Is the small cast better than the rotation of a large cast that is more or less determined by product release? What is happening to all the gimmicks like all the masters (head-, power-, target-), energon weapons, and minicons for previous franchise examples that also used to drive the media? They seem to be non-existent in the most recent iterations of toys, shows, and comic books (Example: Arms Micron Takara vs. Prime HASBRO). When we're done there still is no answer...
Live from New York it's Seibertron.com!
Picture guy and home to us all, Ryan calls in to our discussion and let's us know how things were going out at the New York City Comic-con. Will he ever answer the question Bulkhead or Ironhide?
That's a wrap!
And finally the crew wraps up with recent toy purchase discussions, and many jealousies are had.
Good day, and thanks for listening to the TWINCAST PODCAST!
Seibertron user ScottyP has just spotted an exciting announcement for all fans of The Transformers movie from 1986. Vince Di Cola has just confrirmed on Twitter that the score for the film will finally see its official release in a couple of months with Intrada/Sony!
* FINALLY... My Transformers score will be released in a few months by Intrada/Sony!!!
This will be the first 'official' release of the collection and I'm so excited to finally have the opportunity to inform my fans that this is actually happening! Obviously it took a very long time to reach this point, but hey... Good things take time, right?!
When I have a definite release date I'll post it here, so stay tuned. Thanks to Doug and all the good folks at Intrada and Sony for making this happen!
Best, Vince
