Re-released or not? Just a few days ago Takara-Tomy denied the rumor that the TFC-06 Megatron reissue would be re-released, but
Xybertoys has this to say in their latest newsletter:
There has been alot of buzz lately on the news about Takara's #06 G1 Megatron Reissue, and there's word that it's a rumour and there was a report that Tom-Tak has denied it will be reissue by them.
Since we are taking orders for them, we decided to dig for more information from our suppliers and industry insiders:
Seems that the reissue is still confirmed, but it would be done as a 'custom' reproduction for the Asian market, and is a project approved by Tomy, not Takara (since Tomy now owns Takara, they have the say).
So with that, we would still be receiving pre-orders for this item, and would comfortably assure customers that it will still be in stock sometime December.

Just a follow-up that Takara/Tomy has shown the prototype of the MP-05 Megatron and it indeed WILL BE A GUN. I cannot say more at this time and Takara is not allowing pictures to be released yet, but we will have them shortly as soon as they permit.

In his traditional
Sunday post the ever cordial
Don Murphy has revealed that the head of Megatron from the forthcoming
Transformers Movie, will not look like it did in the
leaked concept images, and he credits us with making it happen!
I CAN tell you that Megs' head will not look like he did in the leaked pics. This was done solely because of the leader of Seibertron.com's delicate work on the process. He is so revered throughout fandom, Hollywood and the world that we decided to make the change. It was NOT because we were trying to make the fans happy. NO SIREE.
However you read his rather sarcastic post it does appear the changes were made for the sake of the fans, and possibly due to the largely negative fan reaction over the
leaked Megatron images we saw a couple of months back.

Fellow Seibertronian
Burn has received an email from
Casefresh.com containing some disturbing infromation. Acording to the email, Titanium 6" Thundercracker will not be released for Australia as of current information.
Please note that the assortment provided to us by Hasbro has changed from what they originally presented. Unfortunately this has seen the removal of Thundercracker from this assortment. At this stage Hasbro can give us no information in regards to the future release of this character. We will continue to follow this up with Hasbro and once any information comes to hand it will be placed back for pre-order on the website.
For now this will be poste as an Rumor as there is no conformation from Hasbro. Stay turned and we will keep you informed on Titanium 6" Thundercracker when and if he becomes available again.
