Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian
Kanrabat, we have news that the Canadian branch of Toys R Us is planning to close its doors for the next 2 weeks to help combat the Coronavirus outbreak.
This news comes from a letter sent out by Toys R Us themselves, stating that the closing of the stores is to help prevent the spread of the virus, and that it is only temporary. At this point in time, they plan to reopen their doors on March 30.
You can read the quoted letter below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. And make sure to social distance yourself and stay safe and stay healthy.
Dear Canadian Parents, Families, Friends and Gift-Givers,
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to temporarily close our
82 stores until March 30, 2020. This decision is based on prioritizing the well-being of
our customers and team members. Our online stores at toysrus.ca and babiesrus.ca
remain open to serve you. We will also continue to offer our curbside pick-up service
at all locations.
At Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us, we want to partner with you to help your kids achieve
their potential, so they grow up to be good young adults. As we navigate the days and
weeks ahead we will continue to deliver on this commitment to you our loyal
customers. This decision will be reviewed on a daily basis after considering the
recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Stay safe, fellow Canadians.
Sincerely,
Vic Bertrand

Greetings all. Fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 has let us know that the Botbots series 5 8-packs featuring the Frequent Flyers and Hibotchi Heats are now available on Amazon for pre-order! The 8-packs are priced at 14.99 USD each with a release date of April 1st and can be found at the links below.
https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-TRA ... 11&sr=8-21?tag=seibertron07-20&
https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-TRA ... 11&sr=8-19?tag=seibertron07-20&
The Frequent Flyers bots are themed as items you might take with you while traveling such as a backpack, sun glasses, camera (that is slightly reminiscent of Reflector color-wise) and travel pillow, while the Hibotchi Heats are food themed bots you might come across at a hibachi style restaurant as the names suggest.
With pre-orders going live it shouldn't be too long until we start seeing the series 5 8-packs pop up at brick and mortar retail as well. Keep your eyes peeled!
Have you pre-ordered these sets? Are you ready to add even more of these wacky characters to your ever growing Botbots collection? Let us know in the comments below and keep it tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers needs!

Greetings all. We have confirmation that an unexpected retailer is joining in on selling Transformers Earthrise product! Yours truly found Earthrise Starscream sitting on the shelf all by his lonesome at a Best Buy in Oklahoma City, OK. Best Buy is no stranger to selling toys as they have had a small toy section in most stores for sometime now since the death of Toys R Us here in the states, but most of the product that would be appealing to collectors has been limited to Hasbro's Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series lines. Cyberverse has made a presence on Best Buy's shelves but that line is geared toward a younger audience. The new War for Cybertron: Siege line directed at the adult collecting community has been left out until just recently.
Best Buy has price tags on the shelves not just for Voyagers but for other class sizes as well such as Leader class, all priced to match if you were to buy the figures at Target or Walmart. Best Buy also has a selection of Earthrise
figures available on their website as well, including Titan Scorponok for $149.99! Time to get out there and start checking your local Best Buys on your hunt run folks!
Do you make frequent stops at Best Buy? Are you excited you can now check out their toy section for Transformers Earthrise? Let us know in the comments down below and keep it tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers needs!

That may be a long title, but that's because we don't want you to miss out on this incredible opportunity! If you're looking for the best price on the latest Transformers revealed at Toy Fair this week then look no further than Target! Thanks to Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 we've found out about not one but two super timely Transformers sales happening all this week. The first sale is
all Transformers, both online and in stores, are buy one get one 50% off. Be it War for Cybertron (Siege or Earthrise), BotBots, Cyberverse, Studio Series or anything in between at any size class or assortment it's good for the sale, no coupon necessary. That includes all of the early pre-orders for figures just revealed this weekend at Toy Fair. Not everything is listed, but the majority of the new reveals are.
And if that wasn't enough there's also a second sale just for War for Cybertron Voyagers taking an instant $10 off, including
Quintesson Judge and
Snapdragon! You can basically get two Voyagers for the price of one! And if you can catch it early enough they've listed Studio Series Leader
Overload for an erroneous $29.99. And of course if you want to save a little more you can still use a RedCard to save another 5% off everything.
The BOGO sale is also available for Paw Patrol, Hatchimals, Baby Alive, and Fortnite if any of those are of interest to you and you can mix and match the offers between brands. There's potential to save well over a hundred dollars depending on how much you order this week. Let us know in the Energon Pub Forums if you managed to get any use out of this sale as many of these items are sure to sell out as pre-orders as they often do. Also let us know in the
Transformers Toy Haul thread if you managed to snag anything good in stores.

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian
Fires_of_Inferno, we have news that the Walmart.com App, which has been busy cranking out some stealth reveals over the past 24 hours, has struck again and given us our first look at the upcoming Studio Series Soundwave and Sentinel Prime!
Sentinel Prime has long been rumored, and here he finally makes an appearance
outside of his toy box. We only have a grainy image of his robot mode, but so far, he looks to be a very accurate and well painted representation of his appearance in Dark of the Moon, complete with chest windows and facial hair. Sentinel will be a voyager class figure, and appears to be marketed as a Decepticon.
We also have Soundwave, but this time we have the Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave, based on his satellite form from that movie. We have an interesting looking robot mode, seeing as how Soundwave never really gave us a good look at his robot mode in the movie. No pictures of his satellite mode yet to share, but we imagine that more images will be coming very soon.
Also thanks to the app, we got some stock robot mode images for the upcoming Constructicons Scrapper and Overload, who will complete the long awaited and desired Studio Series Devastator!
Check out the images below, and stay tuned for more potential news as Toy Fair unfolds!

Well, it was rather inevitable, seeing as how the others in the set were delayed, but now we've got official confirmation via a handful of Seibertronians, letting us know that the final members of the Generations Selects Seacons, Overbite and Tentakil, will be delayed in shipping if they were preordered via Hasbro Pulse. Also delayed via Pulse is MP-38+ Burning Convoy, the red redeco of MP Optimus Primal. Shown below is the email recieved by Seibertronian Lore Keeper.
Note that this delay only affects Hasbro Pulse preorders. Those who ordered previous Seacons from other sources have seen their figures ship on time. Beyond the notice of delay, Pulse has given no indication of what caused the delays for their orders.
Those of you who've ordered through Pulse, what do you think of the delay? What are your thoughts on the issue? Let us know in the forums below, and please stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest Transformers news!

Thanks to heads up from some fellow Seibertronians, we have news of another delay on some highly anticipated figures. Kraken and Lobclaw (known as Seawing and Nautilator outside Japan) have had their ship date delayed, as can be seen in the notice below.
While this doesn't come as much of a surprise, given that Pulse delayed their orders for Turtler and Gulf, it is disappointing for those who preordered these figures and now have to wait an additional month, as these figures were expected at the end of February. While it's currently unknown if the final figures for the King Poseidon/Piranacon combiner, Tentakil and Overbite, will also be delayed, at this point, it seems inevitable. We'll keep you informed as soon as we know.
Please stay tuned to Seibertron for all your Transformers news, and let us know what you think of the delay below!

Sad news today for those who have pre-ordered the Transformers Generations Selects Turtler and Gulf, as well as MP-19 Smokescreen from Hasbro Pulse. It looks as though all 3 of these figures have been delayed by 2 months.
The news comes from Hasbro Pulse themselves, who have started to send out emails to those who pre-ordered these figures. The email was forwarded on to us from Seibertronian
Ebonyleopard, who ordered all 3. It is possible other pre-orders have been delayed as well, but
Ebonyleopard did not have those orders in.
As far as we know, the other 4 Seacons are still set to arrive next month, but that is subject to change as well. This delay follows the delay of Star Convoy last year by several months, as well as the delays that have impacted Masterpiece Hound from Pulse.
Let us know what you think of this news below, and let us know if any of you have received other pre-order delay emails as well.
