Thanks to attraction and theme park website BehindTheThrills.com, we get a look at some of the preparation over at Universal Studios Hollywood in advance of the celebration of the new Chinese lunar year on February 9th, the by now well known, thanks to exclusive figures, Year of the Horse. The article mentions out the appearance in the park of the Mandarin-speaking character in Transformers: Age of Extinction, as well as the bilingual interactive Megatron from Transformers 3D: The Ride. Check out some of the images below, and read the whole piece here!
As a follow up to the news about the Transformers: Age of Extinction crew reshooting some scenes in China, ECNS.cn brings us an update to what the two-minute scene might entail, and how much it cost. Read on below, or head here for the original article!
The fourth instalment of the "Transformers" franchise has just finished part of its shoot in China, and it features some beautiful natural scenery.
This cave, located in Wulong county of Chongqing Municipality, is a naturally formed karst landform. It was chosen as a location for the shoot of Transformers 4 for its breathtaking grandeur.
The final cut of this scene is about 2 and a half minutes. The shooting is mainly for a bird's eye view of the two bridge-like landforms, and a fight scene between transformers takes place under them. Then a transformer walks out from below the two "bridges". Huang Daosheng, Manager of Wulong Karst Landform Co., said.
Because the bridges are part of a world natural heritage, the film crew did a thorough test to make sure the shoot would not damage the bridge. The shoot has also lured a number of curious tourists to the site.

We have now learned that the second part of the Unicron Trilogy, Transformers Energon: The Complete Series will likely be released by Shout! Factory on May 6, 2014.
While the studio has not yet officially announced the title, Amazon.com has a listing up for a preorder of the series, showing the May 6 release date. The listing is currently at $27.98, down from the list price of $39.97, so if you’re looking to order, now would be the time! On Tuesday, one of ABC's newest comedies, The Goldbergs, featured a story line that involved a boy and his toys, namely TRANSFORMERS!
The gist of the episode is basically the youngest child having a girl over in his room for the first time. Like many of us, his room was dominated by the likes of G.I. Joe, He-Man, and of course, Transformers. Confusion over a first kiss leads to disaster and then a mad dash to relieve the boy of his favorite toys in the hopes of getting him a woman.
The episode ended on a note that will get all of us right here (*points to heart*) a home video of the show's creator playing with Megatron when he was a kid. Bringing back memories of an easier time, with no worries and no woes.
And as they fade to black? "Dedicated To Megatron"
This is not the first time Hasbro products have been mentioned on this show, in the pilot they mentioned Go-Bots! And then promptly made a joke at their expense.
A brief snippet from "You're Under Foot"
STORY ONE: Adam Seeks Help
Adam invites a girl to his room for the first time but it ends promptly. He seeks help from Barry and Erica on what went wrong.
After Beverly finds out what Adam did with his toys, she approaches Barry and Erica.
Beverly: “What did you two idiots do?”
Erica: “That could mean so many different things”
Beverly: “Why did my scrumptious little baby give all away all his toys?”
Adam: “We just told him the truth mom.”
Barry: “Yeah. He’ll never get any action with his room full of toys”
Beverly: “He doesn’t need any ACTION. He’s a little boy. I’m going there right now and getting his toys back.”
Erica: “If you do, you’re going to cost him his first girlfriend.”
Beverly: “He doesn’t need a girlfriend. He’s got me.”
Beverly: “I didn’t mean girl friend…I meant….main lady”
Barry: “That is so much worse.”
Beverly: “I meant woman in his life that he loves more than anyone else.”
Erica: “Mom you’re in free fall pull the ripcord.”
