Hey, I just found this at comingsoon.net. There appears to be a casting call for Asians in the Bethlehem PA area.

So I'm gonna submit my form and see if I can get squished or something!!

"We are looking for Asian talent for the new Dreamworks feature film, "Transformers 2", directed by Michael Bay.

Needed are Asian men and women, boys and girls, ages 7-65, for a scene set in a fictional Chinese city. Shooting will take place in the Bethlehem PA area, in the beginning of June 2008.

No acting experience necessary; both SAG and non-union talent will be considered. All roles are paid positions.

In addition to "real" people, we are also looking for any Asian talent with a military background.

Destro from TFW2005.com has posted some new images of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con exclusive Classics Nemesis Prime figure.

The photos include an in package shot and both robot and truck modes. This figure will be first made available at the SDCC and then Hasbro Toy Shop if there are any left in stock after that.

Seibertron.com has learned of an event that will be taking place soon in Latin America. In it's second annual occurrence, TRANSCON BRASILIA will be taking place on May 23rd and 24th. This event was formed by the first Transformers Fan club in Brazil, BOTFAN Brasilia.



Information on the scheduled events are as follows:

Optimus Prime: Generations

A look at the Autobot Leader in his many incarnations.

Movie Showings: May 23rd, showing of the original G1 Cartoon movie

May 24th, showing of the 2007 Live action film

The Cybertron Market: Buy, Sell or trade Transformers items from attendees and dealers.

Fan art and professional art displays will be available for view during the entire convention

There will be an official contest, but details on what form of art it will pertain to have not been given.

Dealers are also welcome to come the show that have not yet registered.

Forbes.com (of all sites) recently posted a list of fictional vehicles from movies, cartoons and other origins and placed rank on them based on their capabilities.

Topping the list is Transformers own Autobot Blurr,

with a listed speed of 800 mph. Second place went to the Mach 5 of Speed Racer fame

(both the cartoon and newly released movie) running at 258 mph and third and fourth places going to the Batmoblie from Batman Begins (Starring Christian Bale) and Dom's Charger from the Fast and the Furious (Vin Diesel) both clocking in at 220 mph.



A couple honorable mentions added to the list: Doc Brown's DeLorean

from the Back to the Future Movies going up to 190 mph on the ground and and the man powered Flinstone mobile burning up the roads at 11 mph downhill.
