Phil (aka SkyJammer) has stopped by once again to give us an update regarding Iacon One:

Well, it's been a week since Iacon One, and both Malin and I hope those of you who attended had a fantastic time! We've been reading the comments on all the boards, and it appears that everyone who went had fun, which was our hope. Thank you to everyone who attended or supported the event! We also extend thanks to our special guests and our staff for everything they did to make the weekend fantastic.

We've got a few updates we want you to know about. First, non-attendee packages are starting to ship, and we expect to get them all out by the end of the week. If you ordered a package, you should receive a confirmation E-mail after your items have been shipped.

Secondly, yes, we do have souvenir sets and art prints to sell. After we get all the non-attendee packages out the door, we will work on getting our online store up and running.

Lastly, we had several lost items returned to us. If you happened to lose something at Iacon One, we might have it! Send an E-mail to phil -AT- iaconone -DOT- com with a description of what you lost. Hopefully we have it and can return it to you!

Keep watching for further updates on packages, the store and anything else we might come up with!

So for those of us that have been waiting to get the exclusives, keep your eyes peeled. We'll keep you posted with any further developments.

Images of a repainted Transfromers Cybertron Ransack have been making the rounds around the internet. It was believed that this figure was part of this years Botcon exclusive set and the figure's name was Rattrap. Then last week boxart with the same figure was revealed. Now official images of the figure are out. has posted official images of the figure. However here is what the site says about the figure:

"Here is the ALMOST very first look at CHEETOR in his pre-beast form the 2006 BotCon Figure Set! His color scheme is based on the TV Series Rattrap."

Notice how they call the figure Cheetor although a Cheetor figure was already shown and the previous figure (along with this one appears in the boxart. Chances are a mistake was made calling this figure Cheetor (It is likely Rattrap).

Thanks to member Scaleface, we have new information regarding the development of the G1 characters. A person by the name of Steven Stonebraker obtained this information by meeting with Bob Budiansky who was a guest at the Iacon One convention.

Some of the more interesting tid-bits were the original planned names for some of the G1 Autobots:

Cliffjumper was going to be Blow-Out.
Windcharger was going to be Sprint.
Sunstreaker was going to be Spinout.
Bluestreak was going to be Blue Streak.
Jazz was going to be Jazzz.
Trailbreaker was going to be Guzzle.

Also, it seems that some of the stat's for characters were changed from what was originally planned:

Starscream and Skywarp's original stats were swapped.
Rumble's stats were lowered from their original settings.

Last, but not least, it appears that Laserbeak's original name was supposed to be Slazer.

Views: 12,378 is proud to present the visual account of One Excellent Night in Amsterdam. Featuring David Kaye, the voice actor behind Megatron/Galvatron of the Transformers series Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, Energon and Cybertron.

On June 4th, we invited David Kaye to come to Amsterdam and meet with a couple of dutch fans. The night was put together by Hans (of the Energon Pub) and myself, Raymond T. Although the evening did not entirely go as planned, due to the presence of the soccer championships throughout the city (which caused us not to record as much as we had hoped), all parties present agreed that they were having a blast.

In the Seibertron People section, you can read my report on the evening. View some of the pictures and scans from that day. And you can watch what we were able to record by downloading the videoclips.

It was an honor to walk the streets of Amsterdam with the man who has the most Megatron characters to his credit/voice. Both this year as well as last year (A Prime Night in Amsterdam with Neil Kaplan) were a wonderful experience to put together. If I have my way, there will be more to follow.

Be sure to check out David Kaye's website at
Please enjoy!

An anonymous Seibertronian has sent us a very interesting message regarding the San Diego Comic Con. We currently have no way of proving this message though I'm speculating that this postcard will feature upcoming figures that haven't been revealed from either the Classics line or possibly the Movie. Here's what this Seibertronian had to say:

"Huge fan of your site. I visit often!!! I just wanted to let someone know that Hasbro will be handing out some sort of postcard at their panel at the San Diego Comic Con. What's interesting about this postcard is that they're keeping it TOP SECRET until the convention. Even the Comic Con doesn't know (yet)what it looks like/what image(s) it displays. Hasbro's being very touchy about this postcard though. They do not want anyone knowing what it looks like. I have a very solid source for this. I though you might want to pass the info on!!! It looks like there's something very exciting to look forward to at the Con!"

Make sure you keep checking for developing news and for further information about Hasbro's possible secret.

UPDATE: I just received some additional information from my source that this is NOT related to the movie which leads me to believe that this postcard will feature upcoming Classics Transformers figures that we haven't seen yet. Time will reveal all to those who are patient ...

The San Diego Comic Con International, which will hold its next comic book convention from July 20th through July 23rd, now have also announced their Saturday and Sunday lineup. This includes the following;

11:30-12:30 Top Cow: Freshmen— Top Cow president/COO Matt Hawkins, the Freshmen crew with Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers) and Hugh Sterbakov, and the rest of the herd will showcase next year's big launches and projects! Room 8

1:00-2:00 Passion, Politics, and Independent Production: The Broken Saints Effect— Celebrated voice talents Michael Dobson (Kazuki Fuse, Jin, Roh) and David Kaye (Megatron, Beast Wars) discuss the upcoming Fox Home Entertainment release of the cult animated comic epic with outspoken series creators Brooke Burgess, Ian Kirby, and Andrew West. Expect some major revelations about the past, present, and future of this compelling and controversial project—along with some exclusive giveaways during the panel! Room 4

2:00-3:30 Cartoon Voices I— A demonstration of the fine art of talking for cartoons. With Maurice La Marche (Pinky and the Brain), Katie Leigh (Dungeons & Dragons), Greg Berg (Muppet Babies), Gregg Berger (Transformers), Michael Bell (G.I. Joe) and Alan Oppenheimer (Masters of the Universe). Mark Evanier plays the guy in charge. Room 6CDEF

2:30-3:30 Devil’s Due Publishing: Hack/Slash— Hack/Slash, the cult hit comic book series sensation, is coming to theaters courtesy of Universal Studios genre division, Rogue Pictures. The film's director Todd Lincoln (The Fly remake) and his writing partner Martin Schenk (Road to Hell) will be on hand, along with series creator Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash, Loaded Bible), Devil's Due president Josh Blaylock (How to Self Publish), and movie producers Adrian Askarieh (Spy-Hunter) and Daniel Alter (Hitman), to discuss what's in store for Cassie Hack's big-screen adventure. Room 2

3:00-4:00 Comic Book Writers Talk About Writing— From creative issues to business matters, from breaking in to breaking out, top comics writers Tom DeFalco (Spider-Girl), Kurt Busiek (Astro City), Robert Kirkman (Invincible), Steven Grant (The Punisher), and a couple of surprise guests talk about their art, their craft, and whatever else may come up. They’ll answer your questions, too. If you've ever wondered how comics writers think and how they make the choices they make, this panel is for you. Moderated by longtime Spider-Man group editor Danny Fingeroth (editor-in-chief, Write Now Magazine). Room 8

5:30-7:00 Animation Story Meeting— Travel to a dark place, seldom seen by outsiders: an animation story meeting. See and hear how an idea for an animated superhero story goes from one-sentence premise all the way to full-blown, beginning-middle-and-end story (with hardly any blood being spilled). The all-star writing staff for this event will consist of Adam Beechen (Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi), Craig Miller (Pocket Dragons), Robert Skir (Godzilla), comics giant Len Wein, and Amy Wolfram (Teen Titans). Moderated by Stan Berkowitz (Justice League). Audience participation will be welcome—especially if the team encounters mass writers' block. Room 24A

10:30-12:00 Media Tie-In Writers: United and Licensed to Thrill!— The hottest adventures for your favorite films and television shows aren't only happening on the screen. From Star Trek and Star Wars, to Buffy and Superman, to CSI and Monk, some of fiction's best-selling novels are media tie-ins. This all-star panel of scribes are licensed to thrill! Alongside moderator Andy Mangels (Star Trek, Roswell) are Nancy Holder (Buffy, Smallville, Hulk), David Seidman (Fantastic Four, King Kong, Disney), Terry Erdmann (Monk, Last Samurai, Star Trek), Marv Wolfman (Superman Returns, Crisis on Infinite Earths), Jeff Mariotte (Angel, Superman, Conan), and David R. George III (Star Trek). Find out what the future holds in store for your favorite franchises! Room 2

Waldman (Megillat Esther) will talk about his biblical graphic novel adaptation; and Marv Wolfman (Homeland) will share his thoughts about the graphic novel he's writing, which presents the history of the state of Israel. Moderated by Steven M. Bergson ( Room 4

1:00-2:30 Cartoon Voices II— So nice, we decided to do it twice! A mainstay of Comic-Con’s Saturday programming slate, here’s an all-new Sunday edition of Cartoon Voices, hosted, as always, by Mark Evanier. Mark is joined by vocal impressarios Billy West (Futurama), April Stewart (South Park), Bob Bergen (Porky Pig), Kimberly Brooks (Mucha Lucha), and Wally Wingert (Family Guy). Room 6CDEF
