bittercold from
SuperHeroHype.com has given some information about the US Air Force supporting the Transformers Movie! They will be using and filming a MC-130 for the movie. He also said that filming will be starting next week and they also will be filming in San Diego.
This is what he had to say:
"
With the cast in place for Michael Bay's Transformers (see full details here), scooper 'bittercold' alerts us to a location where the production is likely to film next week:
I am not going to tell you how I know this information because it is hush hush... but lets just say I am affiliated with the air force... here is what I know.
Next week on Wednesday and Thursday a C-130J model from Little Rock AFB Arkansas is heading for Holloman AFB New Mexico for shooting on Transformers the movie. They might be taking on the roll of a MC-130. I know they are going to do attack rolls and manuevers. I also know that after Holloman they are heading on to San Diego... so there may be more filming there.
The point of this... the film is geting USAF support and there will be C-130s in the movie.
Believe it or not... but filming is starting next week"
Note that this is a RUMOR since no source was provided and that all of this can be untrue!

Our very own
Payner has gotten his hands on 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime from the Toys 'R Us in Gloucester, UK. Furthermore,
Zenith of
TF@ The Moon also found him at the Toys 'R Us in Solihull. Here is Zenith's original post:
"I just bought 20th (22nd?) Anniversary Prime at Solihull Toys R us. The Magic restock fairy (shelf stacking lad)was unpacking two large shipping boxes full of them...he was having trouble finding room for them. So these should be plentyfull over the weekend...unless scalpers have their way!" This sighting signals the UK release of the figure, so the Briitsh can start hunting!
Don't forget to post your sighting in the

Beachtractor shared an image of what he was told is a teaser poster for next year's Transformers movie. As some of you might recall,
Michael Bay stated that there will be a
teaser trailer and poster available by July 4th. We're assuming this is a fake. Here's why ...
I would be highly skeptical of the below image for a couple of reasons and I mean no offense to
Beachtractor. The image looks like something any of us with some Photoshop skills could create. I know a teaser poster is just that ... a teaser poster ... but this doesn't accomplish anything. It's a round ball that looks like something from the G2 space cube clips that were in the G2 "re-used" G1 episodes. Plus, if you look at the list of movies mentioned to be "upcoming" movies for the UK, it lists "
She's The Man" which was released on April 7th, 2006 in the UK (March 17th in the US), according to
Yahoo's UK movie website.
Below is
Beachtractor's original post that he made on the
SEIBERTRON.com Forums.
Ok, so I have a friend who works for Vue cinemas here in the UK. He works in marketing and does things with their website. Obviously he gets a lot of promo stuff and he just sent me this email he got from Dreamworks marketing guy. Note the last movie in the list and see the image……
Morning all
July campaign posters and tifs:
She’s The Man
Flushed Away
Dream Girls
Match Point
Transformers
FSDUs to follow.
Use as of 30/06

Jim

Sometimes big news comes in the littlest of places.
KnightRaven of the
Gaia Online anime community has found a mock-up image for the Transformers: Classics line! He posted it in
this thread, scroll down to see. The image in question comes from an issue of Previews.
Since it's a mock-up image (as in photoshopped) there are some abnormalities, like Crumplezone and Dirt Boss in the boxes, and the name and image of Starscream on both. Still, it shows the general design direction of the packaging, and may change in time.
