Recently in an interview with Fox News Megan Fox reveals that she had to put on 10 pounds in three weeks for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This following her dramatic weight loss for the film, Jennifer's Body. Here is what she said:
"I should have toned up for 'Transformers' but I'm really lazy. I had to put on weight," she told Pop Tarts. "I'd lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on size for 'Transformers' because Michael [Bay, the director] doesn't like skinny girls."

Fox also talked a little about Sam and Mikaela's relationship in Revenge of the Fallen. She said:
"There are no big love scenes," Fox said. "At this point Shia and I have been dating for two years so we're at the bickering stage, like an old married couple."

Hi there,

We just posted a quick Q&A with Michael Bay about Transformers 2 ("You're just not going to believe the first 12 minutes! It's a twist in itself," says Bay) & his re-make of Friday the 13th (He's including plots from the first two Friday the 13ths in his remake). He also briefly mentions the possibility of a Ouija movie and whether or not that rejected Dark Knight script floating around the web is actually his.

Thought it might be of interest to your readers -- check it out when you have a sec: http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/07/ ... ers-2.html.

Roberto Orci, one of the writers for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, recently spoke with Sci-fi.com about the Transformers movie sequel, scheduled for release on June 26th 2009. He speaks briefly about the Transformers presence in the film, including Arcee and Soundwave (who have both been confirmed via both official sources and leaks).

Read the interview by clicking here.

:
Roberto Orci said in an interview at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif., on July 14. " that the movie will feature more of the giant robots and more of a science fiction storyline.

The sequel will also offer a better balance between humans and robots,

Maybe there's less humans," he said. "The first movie was predicated on the structure of a mystery, at which point, at the midpoint, the Transformers are revealed. This movie is structured differently in that you now know there are Transformers in the world, and therefore you can get right to them. As a result, there's kind of more Transformers throughout the movie."

what new Transformers audiences will see. Arcee, the female Autobot who transforms into a motorcycle, "was in an early draft of the first movie, and she may make an appearance," he said. "We'll see."

But expect to see Soundwave, the Decepticon who was cut out of the first film. "Yes," Orci said. "Soundwave's in it." It's unclear whether he will transform into a tape deck, as in previous incarnations, or into something else.

Orci also declined to comment on rumors that the film will spend a bit more time on the Transformer homeworld of Cybertron.

But Orci promised that fans won't be disappointed. "If you liked the first one, you'll like this one," he said. "But if you were a genuine fan of what Transformers was and felt a little bit left behind by the first one, I think this one's going to be more for you." Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is in production now with an eye to a June 26, 2009, release.

BigPete of the Nordic Transfans Association got a chance to chat with Auto Assembly co-creator Simon Plumbe, via email, recently and spoke with him about the conception of Auto Assembly and all the work that he and his partner, Sven Harvey, have put into creating one of the UK's biggest Transformers conventions.

An excerpt from the interview:

Is there a lot of money involved in a convention of this size, and did any of it come out of your own pockets?

We've been pretty lucky with Auto Assembly and every year - with the exception of Auto Assembly 2004 - has broken even and left us with some money left over which has either been reinvested back into future years or gone to our nominated charities.
In terms of home much they have cost, earlier conventions were on a fairly small budget, but this year at a rough guess it is going to cost us around £7,500 which has to come from attendees, fanzine sales, and dealer table bookings which is why we we're asking for as many people to pre-register as possible!

In the interview, Mr. Plumbe went on to speak about attendance and other issues regarding AA that has happened over the years along with one thing that was very suprising: HASBRO UK doesn't seem to want any affiliation with the convention despite numerous attempts by Sven and Simon to get them to Auto Assembly.

Recently I had the opportunity to speak with the hardworking and legendary voice actor, Corey Burton, who is renowned for his countless voices throughout the years. Burton is no stranger to Disney animations and Saturday morning cartoons, but Transformers fans remember him best in the original G1 series as Shockwave, Brawn, and Spike (to name a few). After 20 years, Burton is back with Transformers and he has teamed up with the Transformers Animated series. This time, he's doing the voices for Megatron, Ratchet, Shockwave, and Spike. You can view a list of Burton’s other roles here.

Stormrider: Lets begin where most Transformers fans are familiar with your voice - Transformers Animated (TFA). So tell us about the characters that you are doing for TFA? What are they like?

Burton: There's Megatron: Uber-Villain of the series.
Ratchet: Crusty, battle-worn Doc-Bot.
And Shockwave: Calm & collected Covert Operative/Mercenary Agent, working undercover as "Longarm".…along with assorted bit-parts, including popup "cameos" as Spike...

Movies site ComingSoon.net has had the opportunity to talk with Transformers scriptwriters duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. They talk in the interview about being involved with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and other projects that lie in the wake behind this movie.

"We gave them a treatment before the strike which they prepared off of, then when we came back, we started writing immediately, and back to your question about how we were able to do it. On "Transformers," we demanded to be teamed up with the amazing Ehren Kruger, who co-wrote the movie with us, so it was really the three of us just spent four months in a hotel room and we got the script in shape".

Megan Fox recently talked with MTV Movies about the sequel to last year's Transformers movie and about the struggles with the sequel's script, rushed due to the 6-month long WGA strikes and now facing re-writes during filming.

:
When Michael Bay got behind the camera for his most recent film, he chronicled a lot more than just automobiles transforming into robots from outer space. Millions of fans also watched then 21-year-old Megan Fox transform from an obscure actress best remembered for a Lindsay Lohan movie into one of the most desired hotties on the planet.

Now, the "Transformers" star is back on the set with Michael Bay – and true to the director's favorite word, she says he's making an awesome sequel.

"As big as the first movie was, this is 10 times as big, 10 times as many set pieces, explosions, and acrobatic stunts," she told us about "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. "Shia and I make out a little bit; I don't know if anyone wants to see that."

Something tells us that Shia LeBeouf wants to see it.

Regardless, Megan insisted that the blossoming romance between Sam and Mikaela is only one of the many plotlines Bay will be juggling for the June 2009 flick. But according to the actress, some last-minute scrambling has been taking place to make sure their romance can hold its own among all those Autobot vs. Decepticon showdowns.

"You know, we've been having script meetings, and we've been reworking the script, because they wrote it fast because of the writer's strike," she explained. "And, we've just been going through and trying to do some character stuff for Shia and myself in the middle of this crazy world that they're in."

"I can tell you that we're on locations in some really exotic places," she added. "It's just going to be a badass movie. It's just going to be a popcorn-visual-spectacle, summer film."

As for Michael Bay's main directorial input to his lead actress, Megan had this to say: "His main note to me is just to look hot; so I try my best."
