So were you thinking about buying a new car, and wondering how in the world you could work it so you could get a free collectible toy out of the deal too?
Look no further. Apparently Chevy is having a promotion and all you need to do is buy an Aveo and you get a really cool new and exclusive Transformers Autobot Swerve (new mold!!!) limited to only 2000 pieces.

This isn't a true Alternator is it? In the robot form, it's as tall as the Deluxe 09 Bumblebee. Aren't Alternators taller than that?

The instructions say "Autobot" Swerve and there is a Transformers Universe logo. I see no mention of Alternator anywhere.

i actually work in sales at a chevy dealership, but this is the first i've heard of it. the good news is that the aveo is chevy's cheapest car, starting at around $9-10,000. gets about 37 mpg.
what's also worth noting is that (at my dealership, anyway) aveo buyers aren't generally the type to be into transformers toys. so you may be able to pick them up on ebay, or even see if a sales guy can hook you up with one.
the bad news is that i was planning on quitting soon. i might have to stick around to get one of these...

This is not an alternator, as can be seen by the instructions for it....just another Universe Swerve. I'm assuming the only reason it's being called an alternator is because it turns into a real-life car??
Somebody should change that in the first post to avoid confusion. I panicked there for a second thinking I was going to have to go through hell trying to compete my alternator set (as if I'm not already, having yet to get Rollbar, Camshaft, Rumble, Jaguar Ravage, & SDCC Rodimus still)....

So this came this far? So it is now OK for grown men to 'play' with toy robots? Have Takara finally lost it? The idea is interesting though, but for having to buy a car, I would expect a much more better figure. Maybe taller and with plenty more gimmicks. Never mind if what I say don't make sense. Im pissed and not pissed. Im pissed because its another Exclusive that i cant get. Im not pissed because i dont like the mold that much. Looks like swindle. Im sick of all these damn promotions and exclusives.
