And it can actually serve as the mace head. Sneaky Hasbro. Making me buy a fossilizer to get Primal's complete accessories.
Makes me ant to see what Optimus Primal is going to look like in this line.

I really liked it, the concept of partsformer makes perfect sense in it because it is a skeleton, you can disassemble it and use it in a diorama. Very well sculpted and articulated. Even before seeing what will happen in the animation you can come up with interesting stories, he can be a "primordial Dinobot"

Bucky wrote:Very Cool. Really looking forward to the last third of WfC. I adore this play pattern so much, but I might have to mostly keep these Fossilizers in Fossil mode. Robot dino skeletons are just too cool to not display them like that.
Which makes me think that these might be packaged in Alt Mode. Which would be the first time we have hat since the AOE toyline.

The Fossilizers are genius, a whole new play pattern that’s Beast Wars to boot? Plus we’re definitely getting a proper Galvatron? The good news just doesn’t stop. Combined with the guys from SS86 this is gonna be a good year for TF toys, even if the world stays sucky.

I think that would be a very smart move on Hasbro’s part.

I kind of miss that in general. I don't do much transforming of my figures. At least if they came in alt-mode, I'd have to do it at least once.
Then again, you have some extreme examples like MP-44. That was NOT fun to reconfigure. However, anything in Generations, especially Kingdom would be fine.

Honestly, for me, it was more fun taking a vehicle or animal and figuring out how to convert it to a robot. I've always sucked with the instructions, but going from alt to bot was something I could often times figure out on my own. Starting with the robot can sometimes be tricky, or painful, looking at your ER Doubledealer and your freaking knees.

Core Rattrap $9.99
Deluxe Cheetor $22.99
Voyager $29.99
Leader $49.99
While this price hike isn't fun, it could be worse, like the upcoming deluxe sized like Hot Rod being sold as a voyager for $29.99 over in the Studio Series 86 line.

Not really, at least Hot Rod is getting a higher parts count, more complexity, more articulation and more accessories for his price hike (though I still think he's overpriced). The Kingdom deluxes aren't getting any of that. Warpath and Blackarachnia are both both smaller-than-average deluxes, and Cheetor has a pretty lackluster deco, so we very well could be getting less than before on top of the price hike.
I was seriously considering buying all the beasts, but IMO $20 was already pushing it for current deluxes. Assuming this isn't a Wal-Mart goof, I guess I'll at least be waiting for sales.

those were the days, 5 bucks for legends or scout

It could be walmart goof, or we haven't seen all accesories that comes with each figures yet. Considering the reviews are using stolen, loose copies, there's chance they are incomplete.

Seriously, just look at what else is on the shelves and their prices. Look at the cost of the Angry Birds or Fortnite stuff which have zero articulation and cost ten to twelve bucks. Lego sets have gone up and they are literally just bricks.

If you don't like the prices now it sure ain't going to be better 5 years from now, so I'd say it's about time for anyone to jump out of collecting if the prices are too much for yourself right now.

Greed and covering what are almost certainly license disappointment returns from Star Wars. Seriously, didn't even have a toy line from the last movie and Transformers which Hasbro owns has as much shelf presence in most stores I visit and its last movie was even longer ago.
Just feel annoyed I'm paying more cause Lou has been losing money at the track. (old reference)

Besides, Deluxes are the easiest to justify. Core class is half the size at $10, but at $13 you might as well save a bit longer and get a bigger toy (from a casual fan's POV), Voyagers at $33 would be the other decent argument, but that still runs the risk of people seeing them and saying it's not worth the price and might result in Voyagers shelfwarming, and I feel leader class is the obvious no go due to the fact that shelves are still flooded with Siege Shockwaves, and likely will be flooded with Doubledealers while Kingdom is out.

Where is the low inflation if we get price hikes so often?
Another excuse for is to match prices in Japan. Abenomics has caused retail prices to skyrocket more than double in the past 5 years. Those of us who import using sites like Amiami, HLJ and Amazon Japan will know

Nope, what would really offset these prices rises is if the wages increased along side them so they were still affordable. You'd still get the talk of "these were cheaper in my day" but then we have to remember that wages were a lot less as well. In some cases the money we paid on Deluxes back then is roughly the same as what we spend now, thanks to inflation and rising material costs.

It seems odd to complain about getting MOAR, but .... here we are.

Yep especially when by the time Kingdom concludes we are probably at double the amount of figures released for the entire Armada-Cybertron time line.

To me he should be Ultra Magnus sized (not the undersized Siege Ultra Magnus) as I have smaller ones as is with classics and the larger CW/UW but each to their own and it makes more sense to scale to galvatron/scourge.
