We have a new update for Kabam's Transformers: Forged to Fight mobile game, this time featuring a new and interesting character: the Sharkticon! The new sharkticon design is quite unique, appearing to take some design cues from Underbite while still being his own design, and certainly different from previous Sharkticon designs.

Welcome to Sharkticon Week in New Quintessa! Collect all 6 classes of the Sharkticons in the Sharkticon Arenas, special Daily Login Calendar and the Alliance Event from February 1st to February 8th.
OVERVIEW
Sharkticons gain their abilities only once their Signature Ability has been unlocked but their abilities combine some of the most powerful effects and Special Attacks found on New Quintessa!
Once the Signature Ability has been unlocked you can Rank Up or increase Signature Level to radically improve ability effects!
When you collect a full team of Sharkticons, they will all gain the Shark Frenzy Synergy Bonus that will allow them all to Repair with Special Attack 3!
BRAWLER SHARKTICON
The largest and strongest of the six Sharkticon Classes, but not very bright.

STATS AND ABILITIES:
4-Star

Base PI: 2145
Max Rating: 2547
Full Synergy: 3160
SIGNATURE ABILITY: SHARK ENHANCEMENT
When hit

12~20% chance to trigger a 16~40% Armor buff.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Special Attack 1 – Shark Therapy

A physical outburst at the opponent’s expense.

100% chance to trigger a -16~-40% Critical Chance debuff.
Special Attack 2 – Unstoppable Frenzy

An unstoppable combo from this Brawler Sharkticon.

100% chance to become Unstoppable for 3~5 seconds.
Special Attack 3 – Shark Attack

These Sharks are just as deadly on land.

Warrior Sharkticons train for 15 hours a day and constantly challenge the other five Classes to duels.

When Knocked Down

A couple punches do the trick, but look cooler with a flash kick.

100% chance to trigger a 13~25% Crit Chance buff for 4 seconds.
40% chance to trigger a stun for 1.5 seconds.
Special Attack 2 – Gunslinger Fish

Locked, loaded, and he’s quick on the draw. Watch out!

100% chance to trigger a 29~45% Projectile Bonus for 6 seconds.

TECH SHARKTICON
A Class of genius engineers known for manipulating force fields, and one of the six Classes of Sharkticons.

SIGNATURE ABILITY: SHARK ENHANCEMENT
Passive

The Shark starts with 6 Shield buffs that each cap incoming damage to 8% of the Sharks total health.

Special Attack 1 – Shark Blast

A quick warm up to knock the boom glitches out of the enemy’s brain garage.

100% chance to drain 30~70% of a bar of power.
Special Attack 2 – Sleight of Hand and Fin

Second hit is Unblockable

Special Attack 3 – Shark Attack

These Sharks are just as deadly on land.

SYNERGIES:
Outgoing – Tech Frenzy – All Sharkticons

+3~15% Power Rate

60~85% chance to trigger a 28~35% Armor Break debuff for 6 seconds.

That's actually a really sweet design, I'd love a Deluxe toy of it (I know, never going to happen, but one can dream surely).

I've been thinking about downloading Forged to Fight for a while now. Mobile gaming isn't something I usually do, but from what I've seen in YouTube let's plays it looks fun. Would anyone on here recommend it?

I have a strong suspicion that the Seacons will be released, using remolded Dinobot/Terrorcon combiners. I'm sure this is based upon those designs.

As for the game, I am biased when I say that I didn't like it. It's touchscreen only and could be considered P2W (pay to win); two things I despise. However, although hardly anyone here has replied to this topic (which might show a lack of interest), I remember quite a few people who posted interest about this game at other TF sites, so perhaps it's popular enough?

We have a new update for Kabam's Transformers: Forged to Fight mobile game, this time featuring a new and interesting character: Movie Hound! This is based on the character voiced by John Goodman that appears in both Age of Extinction and The Last Knight with his vehicle mode being based more on the later film with some changes to avoid any copyright issue with Mercedes.

This player is available as of right now and you can read all his stats below or on their website by clicking here. They also le you know who he is strong and weak against. It seems he is no match for Optimus Primal for instance.

I don't usually like mobile games but I've been having fun with this one so am glad it won some awards. Am struggling to unlock Hound though. I got Optimus Primal almost straight away even though I wasn't even trying to get him (not a Beast Wars fan).

The "judges" do realize that downloads dont matter its how many active users that count, if this won purely on download numbers than i feel bad for the games that are actually good but got looked over cause their download count wasnt a million or more.

Am I just really stupid for finding this game really confusing? Not in terms of the fighting, sure, but with how all of the other mechanics work with it, I was lost almost immediately. And since I don't care much for fighting games like that, especially on mobile, it just turned me off entirely.

Intelligent and deceptively persuasive, Kickback’s power to manipulate minds is only ever a ploy to gain access to the information or resources he seeks. Like all Insecticons, Kickback feels the urge to continuously consume all material around him and is capable of chewing through even the toughest Cybertronian metal.

Signature Ability – T-Cog Sabotage

Kickback’s attacks can be modified to infect his opponent with T-Clog. This cyber virus attacks the bot’s sensitive electronics that control their ability to Transform.

Heavy Attacks

35~70% chance to infect an opponent with T-Clog, lowering the opponent’s power rate by -30% for 10 seconds. If the infected bot uses a Heavy Attack, T-Clog is removed and their Transformation fails, Stunning them for 2 seconds.

Special Attacks:

Special 1 – Shock in the Wounds

Kickback uses a shocking blast to turn insult to injury.

100% chance to Inflict Shock for each Power Leak on the opponent, dealing 40% of Attack over 5 seconds.

Special 2 – Lacerate

Those wings aren’t just for looks.

100% Chance to gain a Critical Rate Buff, increasing Critical Rating by 30% for 8 seconds.
100% chance each Critical Hit of Kickbacks Wing Blades to inflict Power Leak, draining 4.8~9.6% of an opponent’s power over 10 seconds.

Special 3 – Need to Feed

Hope? Kickback ate that first.

For each Power Leak on the opponent Kickback Repairs 3% of his Max Health over 5 seconds.

Megatron (Revenge of the Fallen) – Once Megatron has been infected with T-Clog his proclivity to fire off Heavy Attacks while enraged could leave him Stunned and vulnerable.

Weak Match-ups:

Hound (The Last Knight) – Hound’s ability to inflict Critical Rate Down with his Special Attack 1 will leave Kickback unable to inflict Power Leak with his basic hits.
Optimus Primal – Primal will completely negate Critical Hits, disabling much of Kickback’s ability set that revolves around Critical Hits.

Recommended Modules for Kickback:

Scout’s Sentry – Increasing Kickback’s Critical Rate and ability to Evade will ultimately help him survive while dishing out those potent Critical Hits.
Transwarp Cell – Ensuring Kickback routinely slams into his opponent with Heavy Attacks will allow him to take great advantage of his Consume and Signature abilities.

Kabam has given us a pretty good game in the form of Forged to Fight, a game that gives you so many different Transformers characters from many different universes to choose from. That game has now reached its 1 year anniversary, so to celebrate, Kabam has released a new trailer showing off some of the first year stats, which have been mirrored below for you, along with some awesome gameplay.

Anyways yeah I still quite like the game. As a time-killer on my phone for boring waits or tedious public transport journeys it does the trick nicely and has plenty of the movie characters I enjoy with a nice selection of the G1 folk (I'm not sure which Bludgeon is since he's based on the RotF toy but that got repurposed as G1 as well and I kinda count my toy as multiversal traveller between my Movie and G1-ish collections too). :P

Marcelo Matere is the legendary Transformers artist behind the box and card art for the majority of Transformers line since Armada. While still doing promotional and packaging art for Hasbro, he is also part of the staff at Kabam for their Transformers: Forged to Fight game, working as an illustrator. Below is a message he posted on his instagram account regarding the process for developing splash screen featuring Dinobot and Galvatron.

isnt kabam the same company that created that Star Wars game a while ago just to promptly scrap it after only a year?

hmm... it’s only been a year since the launch of this game. looks fun, but i think i’ll give it a bit longer before downloading it and investing any of my time into it.

Amplify

Each time Blaster uses a Special Attack he gains an Amp Charge up to a maximum of 10 charges.

Basic Ranged Attacks

70~80% chance to inflict Interference, lowering Ranged Damage by 10~20% and decreasing Projectile Speed for 10 seconds.

Block

Signature Ability – Absorption Shield

Blaster’s Shielding system can be upgraded to absorb incoming energy attacks and repair damage. A similar upgrade was requested by his fellow Autobots for their audio receptors as an answer to his taste in music.

While Shielded

Blaster’s Shield allows him to shrug off the impact of Basic Energy Ranged Attacks and reduces a further 20% of incoming Energy Damage. Additionally Energy Attacks that hit Blaster while his Shielding is up have a 40% chance to instantly Repair Blaster for 7~17% of the opponent’s Attack Rating, if the attack is a Special Attack he repairs double that amount instead.

Special Attacks:

Special 1 – Amped

Turn up the volume, start the beats.

Blaster gains up to 2 additional Amp Charge(s).
60% chance to grant a Power Gain Buff, generating 30% of Max Power over 10 seconds.

Special 2 – Steeljaw

Blasters speakers won’t be the only thing roaring.

100% chance to inflict Interference, lowering Ranged Damage by 15~30% and decreasing projectile speed for 20 seconds.
7% Chance for each Amp Charge on Blaster to Stun the opponent for 3 seconds.

Special 3 – Boom Boxers

The hits just keep on coming.

100% chance to inflict an Attack Debuff reducing the Opponent’s Attack Rating by 10% for 20 seconds. Blaster then inflicts an additional Attack Debuff for each Amp Charge on him.

Synergy Bonuses:

Mutual – Allies – Ultra Magnus, Arcee

+2~8% Armor.

Mutual – Enemies – Soundwave

+2~8% Attack.

Outgoing – Shield Amp – Soundwave, Mirage, Rhinox

1.5~10% Damage Reduction while Shielded.

Outgoing – Brain Drain – Shockwave

Shockwave generates 1~3 Energy Charges at the start of the fight and every 25 seconds.

Incoming – Brain Gain – Shockwave

25% Increase to Attack against Demolition Bots. Shockwave only gets this benefit if all bots on his team have this synergy.

Strong Match-ups:

Galvatron – Galvatron greatly relies on his Ranged Damage, something Blaster is an expert at reducing.
Soundwave – Blaster is able to Repair himself with his own Reflected Projectiles. Let the Rivalry Begin.

Weak Match-ups:

Bumblebee GS – The little gold speedster will break through Blaster’s Shielding, inflicting Shock damage on him everytime he blocks.
Bludgeon – This tanky warrior does not use energy projectiles and will not allow Blaster to Repair when struck by his projectiles.

Recommended Modules for Blaster:

Laser Guidance Module

This module will greatly increase Blaster’s Ranged Damage and Speed, a perfect fit for a bot that can do the inverse to his opponent.

Repair Module

The Repair Module will add to the constant Repairs he gets with his Signature Ability unlocked.

Away missions got way better. You can earn tier 3 class spark pieces now. The other day I got an epic mission for 2000 tier 2 alpha pieces. I like farming for the arena crystals now instead of the chips also.

Bleeding opponents generate 30% less power when struck.

Dashing and Heavy Attacks

Cheetor has a 100% chance to Evade Ranged Attacks and a 20~30% chance that the projectiles will Miss completely.

SIGNATURE ABILITY – FERAL STRIKE

Cheetor’s jovial nature can be quickly overcome by beastly aggression. Once he has hit his limit, his feral spark grants him incredible speed allowing him to decimate opponents before they are able to react.

When Filling a Bar of Power

Cheetor gains a Feral Strike Buff, granting 10~40% Critical Rate and his attacks ignore Armor, Shielding, Evasion, and do not trigger enemy abilities for 4 seconds. Additionally, while Feral Strike is active, Cheetor gains a 25% chance to Evade Melee Attacks.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Special 1 – Transmetal Trauma

Cheetor gives his opponent the tail end.

100% Chance to inflict Bleed, dealing 70~90% of attack over 8 seconds.
100% chance to inflict Repair Block. The opponent stays Repair Blocked from this attack for as long as they are Bleeding.
Special 2 – Quasar Blaster

Blasters set to full power.

100% chance to gain Power Rate Up, increasing this bot’s flow of Power by 50% for 10 seconds.
This Attack deals up to 50% more damage based on the opponent’s percentage of Missing Power.
Special 3 – Maximal Overdrive

Faster than a Transwarp bullet.

100% to Power Lock the opponent for 10 seconds and drain up to 3% of the opponent’s Max Power.

Optimus Primal – Cheetor’s signature ability will allow him to punch through Primal’s Crit Armor, and if the ape thinks he’s going to heal from Bleeds, Cheetor’s Repair Block put a stop to that idea.

WEAK MATCH-UPS:

Hound – Hound’s Precision Ammo will make short work of this bot as he attempts to Dash-in for an attack.
Megatron GS – Cheetor requires constant buffs to stay on top, some that Megatron would love to steal.

RECOMMENDED MODULES FOR CHEETOR:

Increasing his Critical Chance will enable this bot to dish out more damage and punish the opponent for missing their attacks.

I'm surprised to see they went with Cheetor's Transmetal design instead of an altered version of his season 1 design like with the other Maximals, but regardless he looks nice, and I like that scythe he has.

Autobot Jazz sets his plans in motion.

Confusion abounds.

100% Chance to Confuse the opponent, lowering their Attack Rating by 12~20% and increasing the chance they will use a Special Attack for 6 seconds or until their next Special Attack ends.
Disables the opponent’s Special Attack 3 for as long as they are Confused.

Special 3 – Grapple and Groove

Overwhelming force, with style.

Inflicts a permanent Backfire Debuff, inflicting 100% of Attack as instant Shock damage when the opponent next activates a Special Attack. This Backfire is not removed when the opponent uses a Special Attack.

Soundwave: Soundwave has to connect with his second Special Attack, but Autobot Jazz will ensure that moment comes at a time of this speedy scout’s choosing.
Mixmaster: Mixmaster is reliant on his Special Attacks to do a majority of his damage, a skilled Autobot Jazz player could easily ensure this Demo bot never sees his third Special Attack.

Weak Match-ups:

Drift: Autobot Jazz likes to Evade, he lives to Evade a lot. Drift’s focus prevents Evasion, a lot of Evasion.
Ramjet: Autobot Jazz enjoys seeing his opponents Stunned, but Ramjet can ignore Stuns while he has a lot of Momentum.

Recommended Modules for Autobot Jazz:

Scout’s Sentry

Jazz can easily Power Drain his opponent when both his Signature Ability and the Scout’s Sentry are draining their power.

Class: Brawler

Anger is all Tantrum knows and violence is all he understands, so don’t expect to find reason or measure in his actions. As an ancestor of modern Predacons, Tantrum’s alternate mode serves as a good indicator of his skillset and overall bullish temperament.

Dashing towards the opponent has a 100% Chance to grant a Melee Buff, increasing Melee Damage by 15~24%. [Max 10 stacks]
If Tantrum Dodges backwards he loses all Melee Buffs.

Blocking

Holding Block allows Tantrum to Charge an Unstoppable Buff. After Charging for 1.5 seconds, Tantrum becomes Unstoppable for 3.5~4.5 seconds and does not lose Melee Buffs when Dodging backwards.
Charging Unstoppable is 8% faster for each Melee Buff on Tantrum.
Once Unstoppable expires Tantrum must Cool Off and cannot recharge his Unstoppable for 5 seconds.
SIGNATURE ABILITY – FRENZY
Tantrum’s attacks become wild and unpredictable, punching through enemy defenses and ignoring their damaging debuffs.

Every 3 Melee Bonus Buffs

When Tantrum gains 3 Melee Bonus Buffs he gains Frenzy, granting +10~70% Critical Chance and a 20% chance to be Unblockable for 6 seconds. Additionally, when Tantrum becomes Frenzied, he Purifies all Damaging Debuffs and cannot be inflicted with further Damaging Debuffs for the duration of Frenzy.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Special 1 – Flamethrower

Tantrum is always hot headed.

10% chance for each Melee Buff on Tantrum to inflict Burn, dealing heat damage equal to 50~70% of Attack Rating over 4 seconds.
Special 2 – Electro-Sword

Prepare to be jolted by the impact.

10% Chance for each Melee Buff on Tantrum to Stun the opponent for 3 seconds.
Special 3 – Bull Rush

Unyielding, unblockable, and completely unstoppable.

Tantrum gains 3 Attack Buffs and goes Unstoppable for 7.5~9.5 seconds.

I've heard that Megatronus was found in the game files recently, so you never know, it could be the ROTF version seeing as Hasbro don't really call Megatronus "The Fallen" any more.

Love that the promo pic is basically a thumbnail for a Thew video.

Also, nullifying Unstoppable is a good deal, but do you really run into it outside of Demo bots, who Cyclonus is weak to anyhow? Tantrum's the only non-Demo bot I can think of off the top of my head who uses it regularly.

MotorMaster uses it more than Tantrum.

MotorMaster uses it more than Tantrum.


Cyclonus seems great against MotorMaster. If you don't mind me mentioning, I have a video of them fighting.

So we have a Dreawave character loosely based off/an evil counterpart to the Last Autobot who ended up the mthical predecessor to Decepticons and gained an egyptian theme from a Live Action movie now having a Machinima based design...with the almode of Movie Megatron. Anyone else really amused and equally weirded out when he started off as this?

At this point is he even still technically 'The Fallen'? Because I have the impression Hasbro tried to (and in a way, suceeded) in erasing the original conception first by hijacking the name and history of the character before giving his role in the franchise to something of their own making. At this point, Megatronus and The Fallen may as well be distinct entities within the franchise. >:oP

Just a minor correction to this description... he's not a version of Megatron. He's an entirely different character. Like it also states in his bio he is "One of the Thirteen Primes".
