The figure is a blue dinosaur, a repaint from a Deluxe class Cybertron Beast Wars Megatron figure. No identity has been given to this figure, but it can be assumed that this figure is paying homage to G2 Grimlock.

You can check out the original auction here.
Stay tuned to Seibertron, Ultimate Resource of Transformers!

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:"Possibly" a repaint of possibly a repaint from a Deluxe class Beast Megatron figure? It most certainly is that. To be exact it's the deluxe Beast Wars 10th Anniversary figure, which was repainted for Cybertron.
I must say the colors surprise me, especially the blue.
Yeah, not what I expected. But I'll take it. It matches up with the set though. Just not the original namesake of the character.
*nevermind* rather make em guess.

Speakin of Cryoteck, I'd sure love it if the club gave us him using that Energon Shockblast mold. That would definitely go well as a club toy. Works better then Hasbro's Sixshot IMO.

Agreed. With a little Chro done out of Energon Divebomb.

Close enough, though the colors are reversed.

But isn't he pink?
I dunno, not really feeling this one. I kind of hate that mold.

Again, another mold that, IMO, needs to be used. I love my regular Divebomb and the ShadowHawk one too. Great alt modes and incredibly articulated bot mode. I need moar meow!!

Here's what comes up when you search for "blue beasts" at TFU.com:
http://www.tfu.info/ID/bluebeasts.htm
The only other figures that even come close to resembling this blue T-Rex mold are:
Deathsaurus (a dragon),
Landsaur (from Magmatron),
the McDonald's Dinobot from '88,
Cryotek (a dragon), and
Hasbro Go-Bots Beast Bot
Considering the THEME of BotBon '10 is G2, isn't G2 Grimlock (a blue T-Rex) the obvious choice?

Or maybe it's a lost child? I'm curious why there are only two Sparkabots and Firecons in G2. I won't accept anything technorganic as Grimlock.

It's not Grimlock.

Irrelevant to this topic, but in IDW's continuity Grimlock gains his T-rex alt mode by technoorganic means. He didn't become a purely robotic dino until Shockwave blasted off all his organic flesh.
