The images, mirrored below from this major post on Ozformers, show a number of figures from the second wave of the line too, which we had already seen here in official stock photography. They also had some of the original G1 toys (including Pretenders) for comparison and general merchandising and other collectables from the Transformers brand. Check it all out below!
Today Hasbro Australia hosted a product reveal for Power of the Primes (due in stores here mid January), at their offices in Sydney, for 15 fans to test drive, review and give their feedback (in person and on social media).
This has spawned from two years of a similar product reveal to fans during the Australian Toy & Hobby Fair in Melbourne, so this was the next step, so that we could hopefully have two each year on the Global reveals calendar for Hasbro - early year in Melbourne, late year in Sydney.
Unfortunately, this first Sydney event didn't end up allowing us to give a world first reveal of wave 2 Legends, as Hasbro in America have other plans for their official reveal... but as a consolation, it was still a lot of fun for a handful of Australian fans to be some of the first in this country to have seen in person, and held/played with some Power of the Primes toys (well... those, who hadn't already imported them from Asia or America).
The event was scheduled for 90 minutes from 11am, but since it started a little late, it ended up going for about 2 hours.
You know you've found Hasbro offices when you see big Nerf and Playdoh displays in the windows on one of the top floors.

There's still something oddly appealing I find about the those original chunky Pretenders. They weren't great Transformers but they were fun toys themselves and I really liked the designs of both the shells, the inner robots and most of the simplistic vehicle modes. I don't feel the same way about the Prime Masters at all.

Including leaders? If you have a picture that would be front page news right away.
Sadly I didn't see any Leaders, But I guess I should've thought to take a Picture, I was too excited to actually FIND them available.
However all the Legends, Prime Masters, and Deluxes were there for certain. I was actually trying to see anything related to the Prime1 Studios Onslaught, sadly Nothing new has happened since It was teased.
Lucky, I was there earlier this month and the only things of the Prime line I saw they had out were two of the Prime Masters.

I gotta say...if I had more self control, I'd skip the Voyagers so far. I'm liking nearly everything else I have seen so far. But, Will is doing a nice job of convincing me to not invest in Grimmy and Screamer...
If you need some more convincing, here is a shot at Grimlock's scale in dino mode
Wow, Grimmy's.....short....
On another note, I got a bonus. My Vector Prime came with a Prime Master already inside the pretender shell. That makes two in the one package.

Not a fan of the Prime Masters, Carnivius?
There's no replacement for the G1 Pretenders, but I like the Prime Cores and the scale for the humanoid Pretenders represented by the Prime Masters.
I can't wait to receive Metalhawk and Cloudburst from HTS to see for myself....I really liked the Titan Masters.

Affirmative

All in all I am satisfied with this interpretation of Grimlock. Yes, they could have done better in some areas, but once you set Volcanicus up correctly, he looks pretty mean. Now about the missing weapons... who is going to step up and give us all the dinobot's swords/guns that were not included? PE maybe?

Starscream still look pretty good in bot mode to me. I'm also glad to have the voyager. Jet mode is kinda crummy, but I like the stylized robot mode.
I'm really hoping Flywheels happens like Battletrap is about to. And I want to see his figure dangit!

Legout and Decibel would be good choices given we have the Dinobots

I would love nothing more than to get updates of those two sets but because of their obscurity I feel like it's a long shot

It would be nice given they could really do with an update

Technically Doubledealer's only alt mode is the missile truck. The robot is his Autubot mode and the bird is his Decepticon mode. Also the only reason why this is working with Battletrap is because they basically made him like a Landcross member giving each of his vehicle modes their own bot modes as well.
Now that I write that I have to wonder if Battleslash can be retooled into Tackle and maybe Roadtrap into Mach?

The thought of a Landcross made from 6 Legends class members never even crossed my mind, but it is an interesting idea....Still I'd like to see any future Combiners be the same size scale as the current ones. It would be a nice chance for some that did not get their proper due originally to be done right this time around, if its even in the plan.
