Baybuster stunts from Transformers: The Last Knight filming

In other live action Transformers movie news, we have word from music composer Steve Jablonsky himself on Twitter, that he may indeed be back for the fifth time running, at least for the main score theme for The Last Knight! Check out the image he sent below, in which a folder with TF5 Themes Ideas is shown, and discuss the news in the Energon Pub.

I don't mind Jablonsky's music in the films. I actually like it for the most part, and it suits the films well enough I feel. So I hope he continues to do good with it as well continue to do the film's music composing.

Awesome, I love the scores he's done

Jablonsky's scores have always been amazing, particularly arrival to earth, Bumblebee, and Autobots reunite. I'd be really disappointed if he didn't return xD

That would be awesome. If we got to see some Combiner rip big ben out of the ground and hit another bot with it, we'll of checked off everything that needs to happen in a Transformers movie in Britain.

The Bayformer films may not be as good as they used to be, but Steve's scores are one of the best parts of them, and I'm glad he's still returning.

To be honest, Jablonsky is very creative with his music scores. There is no telling what euphonic masterpiece he has to offer.

Can't wait to hear the new soundtrack.

Via the UK branch of the Metro newspaper (or at least its online incarnation) we have a new interview with Transformers: The Last Knight cast member Mark Wahlberg, who plays the returning Cade Yeager, and drops hints as to what we might expect in the fifth Michael Bay movie with the Cybertronians - from the recent Nazi set dressing controversy to the rumoured mini-dinobots, to Anthony Hopkins' involvement. Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Mark admitted that by announcing there would be mini-dinobots in the upcoming sequel he had ‘already revealed too much’ but that fans should also expect ‘a few other surprises’.

The film currently has confirmed autobots, decepticons, mini-dinobots, King Arthur, Nazis – and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

The production art for the last movie had those Raptors in it (What Slash is based upon) so I would say it's seems quite possible the mini-Dinobots Mark describes are those Raptors.

Though I guess they could have expanded the idea and come up with some other sorts of smaller scale Dinobots too.

They are really trying to tie a lot in on this film. I hope the writing is way better than it has been. Bay isn't exactly known for doing projects with a lot of depth.

Are you guys ready for some more explosions? UK news site mail online has images showing Michael Bay filming Transformers 5 at Stonehenge and blowing it up. Of course, the blown up Stonehenge is a lifesize replica. You can see the shots below. That same Stonehenge site/scene also features Anthony Hopkins addressing a large being who is not there (until they add it later). This confirms that he is not voicing a character but actually present in flesh and blood in the film. About Stonehenge, Transformerscars has posted a rumour that the historic site acts as a portal/keyhole in the film and the key is the Excalibur sword we previously saw Mark Wahlberg holding. Also, at the filming location of Wiltshire, Mark Walhberg and Laura Haddock were seen running in military outfits. Also, since the picture brought it up, why does Michael Bay do those explosions that just look like fireworks? The one's with the spark trails? They just look cheap and very deliberately like a pyrotechnic stunt.

Considering the movies barrow mainly from G1 it's more likely Stonehenge is Vector Sigma and Excalibur is the key.

I've always wondered that too. There are other directors that use practical explosions that look like real, malicious explosives going off (as they should), but Bay's always look like fireworks.

Which is funny, considering the man we're dealing with, you'd think there would be nothing but giant gratuitous gasoline explosions.
