Better Look at Upcoming Buzzworthy Bumblebee Toy Deco Scorponok and Parasite

Without having seen the video and going by only these pics, it almost kinda looks like Scorponok's mutant head is a mask worn by the robot head. Is this the case, or are they definitely two separate heads that need to be attached and detached to be swapped out?

With this and SG Magnus, I like HasTak giving us spare heads to let us choose which one we want them displayed with!
I wouldn't mind if they continued this practice, kinda like when Masterpiece toys give us optional faces.

Going just by the photos, my guess is 2 separate heads. For the regular head the "jowls" or whatever has the yellow tips appear to hang down lower than the chin. On the mutant head, the "jowls" appear to be even with the bottom of the chin, so if it was a mask or helmet, I think we would see the yellow tips of the regular head peeking out from under.

Prime vs Prime gets his figures through unknown sources, with no box or instructions, probably test shots stolen from the factory. This means sometimes he gets extra or missing parts. When he got Blackarachnia, he got her with an extra face too, the toy accurate one, which wasn't included in the final product.

These are both looking good, that Scorponok deco looks sooo much better than the retail one.

To be fair though, the fact that both Scorponok heads are actually painted here does lead some credence to the fact that it may come with both intentionally. The Blackarachnia face/mask was unpainted.

Parasite looks cool enough, but that Scorponok, homina homina. I needs him!

That's what I was thinking, too - seems intentionally deco'd out for both heads, so I'd assume both heads being included is intentional. At least, my biggest hunch about this being a "thing" is due to SG Magnus.

As sub-par a figure as Kingdom Scorponok was, this Buzzworthy re-deco is actually kind of tempting because it's mostly black. And as everyone knows, everything is immediately cooler when it's done over in black. It looks more like a proper Emperor Scorpion in those colors..

I love these toy redecos. They’re really filling out the BW Season 1 characters. Sad that we’ll probably never get any Fuzors or Transmetals, but anything is possible in the future. (Still out here rooting for a real Pretender gimmick comeback) There’s only one more I’m hoping for, a Fractyl from Terrorsaur!

That Scorponok looks a lot better than the original, the darker colours and lack of yellow are a huge improvement. Parasite looks pretty good too, I am tempted to get this set and Buzzsaw, then have the wasps as the Predacon equivalent of Seekers.

I like that they applied the Transmetal colour scheme to Waspinator's Season one design and renamed it.

The underrated Mutant mask, alongside the toy deco of Scorponok, just reminds me how much better the toy design was than the show one. In every way. Sigh

Transmetal colors? That's Universe "Halloween Horrorcon" Waspinator's colors, taken from the BotCon 2015 Waruder Marauders Parasite toy.

For some reason, at time of writing, I remembered the purple legs and red wings as a default for TM Waspinator? Nevermind

Those colors on Scorp and Waspinator look really nice. Scorponok looks better than his cartoon colors in this case

We have no source on this and it may be fake BUT we did want you to have all the info in case this is the real thing. We knew a Buzzworthy Bumblebee Legacy Dinobot was coming (we were the first to break that news) and now it looks like this is our first look at it. As with the Buzzworthy Terrorsaur, this Dinobot is going for Toy accuracy. That means he comes with the headsculpt that the previous Amazon exclusive Grimlock had. As for the fullness of the pink used, it's too early to judge since we only have one picture and colours can be different depending on lighting.

Anyone else think that fleshy color is a little unsettling?

I’m with you on this. Kingdom and Legacy are giving us some great BW rep without a doubt, but it’s a shame we’ll never get any Transmetals or Fuzors. I would love a Dinobot II and a Silverbolt, most of all a Transmetal Tarantulas.

As big and fearsome as the Emperor Scorpion looks, it's venom isn't deadly to humans. That's one of the only reasons why these are sold in pet stores. Their poison is more honeybee level. Granted, it would hurt like blazes, so better to NOT get stung. But they're not like the fat-tail scorpions (smaller claws, thicker tails), which CAN be lethal.

I hope all of the repaints and remolds that featured in the original BW correlate to their equivalent modern counterparts.

I would love to see Dinotron and the other Beast Machines era Dinobots get some love:

Ok so it's not just me. My first thought was a newborn animal of some kind, maybe a chicken. That dark blue face and head just don't go with the rest of that body.

Honestly, the original Dinobot mold is still pretty decent that I'd be fine if we were to simply get reissues of Thrustor, Hardhead, and Dinotron if not retools of the Kingdom mold.

I think the color IS a bit unsettling, and I also love it. It's a great color, pretty accurate to the original, and it reminds me of all the small sort of "gory" details the original Beast Wars toys had. Love it. I mean, in Dinobot's case, you essentially transform his weapons by peeling his tail and ripping off the spine inside. The legs that form the chest had ribs molded into them, and his mutant mask was a skull...

Can't unsee it.

That surprisingly works quite well, if it wasn't for the fact that Dino mode would look weirder, I'd say add a bit more red to complete the look.

I won't buy this, but it still looks very intriguing. I'm very curious to see the raptor mode.

A shame, though. BW Soundwave was the only Mutant who suffered from GPS. A new one could have fixed that.

Of course, they could get around that by giving us the TR Mindwipe w/ Titan Master Nightbeat retoot we saw in the Convobat/Magna Convoy/Selects manga, and pair that with a Kingdom Blackarachnia redeco.

That toy colored Dinobot is incredibly disconcerting. I don't like it.

That is an amazing idea; using triple changers.
Some proof of concept artwork on that would be awesome.

It follows up on, to me at least, the Generation Toys beast releases of G1 bots and cons.They used the style guide done by a designer; I am forgetting the name currently, possibly T-Beast.
