BotCon 2010 room update: reservations going fast!

Wow! Good thing I booked last night. I just got my conformation for the whole week at the Dolphin so I'm good. Hurry and make your reservations peeps!

FINALLY....After being a big transfan since its inception back in 84

I'm finally going to BOTCON

Disney World is less then 2 hours away from me and my best freind works at the Magic Kingdom told me that Disney was talking about this last week but I didn't belive him

I wonder if this is happening around the same time as Star Wars Weekends that takes place at the Hollywood Studios (formally known as the MGM Studios

Being near Epcot is cool because the Japanese Pavillion there sells Japanese Transformers too

Downtown Disney itself might boom from Once Upon a toy or as its known on the boards as the Hasbro Store will get collectibles

Awesome! I was scared for a min, I am going on a cruise late june, wasn't sure of dates at first. I bet I was the 1st person in history to not want to go on a cruise. Just found, I leave out of jacksonville on the 26th. Which means, I was all ready scheduled to be only about an hour away anyways at the same time. Guess that means I get to go for the first two days. Awesome!

Can somebody please give me the contact information as to how to by tickets for Botcon ??? Whats the point of reserving a room if you have no idea how to get tickets ??? What's the cost ??? Will they be sold on the spot ??? Or must you buy in advance ??? Is there a cancellation fee for the hotel reservation if I cant obtain tickets ??? Or can I buy entry at the door guarenteed ??? Any dress code for formal events ???Will a Botcon regular please give me some advice. I put a topic in the Transformers general discussion section, but nobody has left a comment. Please check it out...thanks

Not sure If i'm going to stay at the hotel though..I have a ton of close friends within a hour of disney so it seems kind of a waste of money that could go towards some tasty show exclusives, not to mention extra luggage to bring the loot back home I mean who is really going to sleep for those 3 days anyways

Bah. Pretty much decided we're not going. We have another vacation planned and it's only a month away from Botcon, so that's an epic amount of money to spend all at once. Too bad. Makes a sweet backup plan if that trip doesn't happen though.

I just reserved our room at the Dolphin! This is going to be our first Botcon and my girlfriend and I are really looking forward to it.

It is a good thing that I have a vehicle because all the bars in the hotel close at 11:00pm except for the Japanese restaurant which closes at 12 and the dress is business casual. There is no place to walk to, food or otherwise. I am definately bringing my own food and drink - read that as water. I am not a drinker as such but that is where my friends hang out. I am up for taking a crew to the beach or something a few days before the con or going to a dinner theater, pm me if you want to be a part of that.
