This last line speaks volumes to me. What it says is that the Generations line is not selling and retailers are not looking to put them on their shelves. This does not bode well for the line long-term...I have a bad feeling about it.

Thank God that Generations and RTS is still going to be continued. I was scared that I wouldn't get the chance to get Scourge and other G1-esque figures before DOTM had struck with a loud thunder.

Hasbro commented on how the naming of a line can determine whether or not a retailer supports it. Sounded like they were alluding that it was a poorly named line, which I would actually agree with.

I sure hope that they get around to rereleasing the Generations figures, and that maybe they could rerelease the RTS figures in Generations (or even DOTM, given that the line was supposed to be a subline of HFTD).
Are you going to be able to go into more detail about some of the DOTM MechTech figures that you mentioned later? I'm mainly wondering about Air Raid (is it a repaint or a new mold?), "Dark Iron" (new mold, or repaint? And what are the colors?), and Cannon Force Ironhide (DOTM or original mold?).

Finally a red Ironhide, took em long enough. Also very excited to hear they are going to try and re-release the figures that we missed. Lets just hope they wont be overpriced like they were, smart thing to do would be throw them in the DOTM line so that way the stores are forced to put them out and they cant jack up the prices. That was the whole thing about generations, they knew collectors wanted them and that they were sought after so they jacked the prices up ridiculously. I didnt see the HFTD figures go up to $15 only generations. Funny thing is the stores that still have a few of the generations shelf warmers still have their prices jacked up. Whos going to buy a $14 figure when there are $10 ones right next to it?

Air Raid is a repaint of ROTF Thrust, who himself was a remold/repaint of Breakaway. His colors are supposed to homage his namesake. I've seen his pictures, and I have to say, he makes such a good Air Raid, he's a Classics figure to me. As a matter of fact...

Alot of cool stuff announced. I'm looking forward to the rest of the DOTM line, the Prime line, Any future WFC stuff and of course getting my hands on some of those RTS/Generations figures. I was only able to find a few of the ones I wanted in New York and had to order Lugnut from BBTS, so bring em on!

I'm pretty sure that that's a Takara exclusive, and I'm positive that that's not the Air Raid we heard about today, since according to TFW, it's green. Too bad, because the Takara version does look kind of cool. (I actually just looked back at it, and it says it's a new mold. Guess that answers one of my questions). I do have one other question, though: Is Deluxe Leadfoot armed or unarmed?

I'm pretty sure that that's a Takara exclusive, and I'm positive that that's not the Air Raid we heard about today, since according to TFW, it's green. Too bad, because the Takara version does look kind of cool. (I actually just looked back at it, and it says it's a new mold. Guess that answers one of my questions). No idea. I was skimming through the News Archive and found these images. Before I found these, however, I did find an article about him. It didn't say anything about a Japanese release or an American. So, all I gotta say is, who knows.

Agreed. As of now Prime is the line I'm most looking forward to, but it's such a long way off. I was kind of hoping that those 'First Edition' figures and possibly the Entertainment pack would out much sooner, as kind of a preview wave of figures.

With regards to Hasbro's list of Transformers: Prime toys, it sounds like a pretty awesome list (Megatron's absence is unusual), but I'm confused. Some of those items sound like they should be movie figures. Are they ALL from the Prime line?

I saw the Amazon.com exclusive Unicron at the other sites. I'm surprised Sebertron doesn't have any up yet. I am VERY happy about this and will gladly be buying it. I'll put my Armada version in the box and pack it away and proudly display this one. I SINCERELY HOPE that the LED light inside the head is green or white to go with the correct green eyes on this one. The red behind green of the Takara version looks like shit. Also, I wonder if Amazon will put up a preorder page for Unicron since he's not going to be available until October.

....Looks good as Autobot cannon fodder goes but that's it! Air Raid black, Fire Flight was red. This is just a cheap repaint with no real paint added on to justify it as being a completed figure.

I sure hope that they get around to rereleasing the Generations figures, and that maybe they could rerelease the RTS figures in Generations (or even DOTM, given that the line was supposed to be a subline of HFTD).
Are you going to be able to go into more detail about some of the DOTM MechTech figures that you mentioned later? I'm mainly wondering about Air Raid (is it a repaint or a new mold?), "Dark Iron" (new mold, or repaint? And what are the colors?), and Cannon Force Ironhide (DOTM or original mold?).
Air Raid is a repaint of ROTF Thrust, who himself was a remold/repaint of Breakaway. His colors are supposed to homage his namesake. I've seen his pictures, and I have to say, he makes such a good Air Raid, he's a Classics figure to me. As a matter of fact...

Air Raid's nose is very pink there. Combined with the neon green and purple cockpit and the sky blue on the gun, he's very G2. Am not really a fan of the way the top of the plane folds around his shoulders though, so it's a definite pass.

Oh my god.....I have never been more excited about a toyline ever since the bayformer era (still ongoing).....transformers prime needs to come earlier than december.....because an actual ZOMBIE transformer (terrocon cliffjumper) just sounds legit.....especially the vehicons along with the up and coming breakdown and knockout just brings out the inner 5 year old in me.....megatrwill complete the whole cake for me honestly......well done hasbro......Just change THE RELEASE DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
