This is going out to all Club Members!
As of today, we have sold 87% of the BotCon 2009 Wings of Honor sets. We have also cleared all of the people on the waiting list for the non-attending Iacon packages. Everyone who was on the wait list is now getting a set.
We will be allocating to the Iacon wait list each week (provided that there is any quantity left) as we get closer but, we must maintain sets for people who decide to come to BotCon at the last minute.
If you want to be on the Iacon wait list, please use the registration form and write wait list on the top.
If you are coming and have not registered yet, you need to do so very soon as when we run out, we will have to use a substitute package from the 2005 convention, and even those are now in short supply.
Thanks,
Brian

So non-box set packages are still available? Good to go.

Wait a sec, I can get a 2005 botcon set?
I'd do that!

Is there any way we can request the old 2005 set?

Are they never going to run out of the 05 set? Did anyone even go to Botcon 2005? How many of those sets did they make? Geez. Two years in a row now they're still able to substitute the 05 set when the current ones run out.

The funny ha-ha is that they only made like 400-500 of the attendee sets.
That's why Flareup is approaching $300 on eBay.

Ok, but aren't there only like 2000 Botcon boxed sets made every year? Was there a production boom in 2005 so as to leave so many left over? I just find it amazing that there are still like 1000 sets lying around. I like mine.

They over did it for sure in 2005. They didn't know what size production run to do as it was their first year.
Usually, the sets are at most 1500 produced.

Ok. Maybe because that was the first year that Fun Pub was doing the convention? Like they just guessed wrong about attendence numbers or whatever.
Screw it. I just saw that you posted exactly what I was wondering Counterpunch. Sorry. And sorry for the previous double post.
