For those of you not familiar, the set consists of a matrix (and matrix casing), battle axe, articulated hands and a jetpack which can also be used as storage for the other pieces. An exclusive blue axe is also included. This set is compatible with the original G1 Optimus Prime toy as well as reissues.

My opinion is G1 figures lack posability so why bother to upgrade them ??? I could understand Crazy Devy sets because the limbs increase posability. But to have a boxy figure with add ons looks silly to me. Just leave them old school and go for more modern figures to create a diorama display.

It's instock at BBTS now, got my email about it yesterday. Plus at BBTS you get an additional clear blue version of the rifle.
