Wow, I'm astounded at all the recent finds showing up in Canada. Ugh if I didn't have to pay rent and wasn't going on vacation soon I'd probably be frothing at the mouth with all the wants x.x

I wish my area was on time with stocking shelves. I haven't been to the Toysrus here (because of those price markups) but all the Walmarts and Targets I've been to in my area of SW Florida seem to only be stocking wave 1 CW voyagers, wave 2 CW deluxes, wave 1 CW leaders, wave 2 RID deluxes (barely) and that's about it. One Target has wave 3 RID legions and had wave 2 CW legends (but not Blackjack when I was there ) Oh and some also have one step figures but I don't pay attention to what wave those are on. I seen some 3 step Steeljaw figures in two stores so I guess that's wave 2 for those.

I have a feeling they're going to skip Motormaster and Thundercracker in my area and go straight to Hot Spot, Cyclonus and Ultra Magnus. I don't mind them skipping leader Thundercracker so much as the leader seekers are where I'll be making my budget cuts (Leaders are WAY overpriced as it is) but I'll be mad if I can't easily get a Motormaster. One Walmart is probably going to skip wave three CW deluxes and voyagers and go straight to wave 4. They put out a bunch of wave 1 voyagers and wave 2 deluxes less than two weeks ago then without any of those selling, they put out even more a few days ago. Now the TINY space for Transformers (two, maybe three pegs for deluxes and a two box wide spot for voyagers) is overrun with Optimus Prime, Silverbolt, Stunticons and Airaid. That Walmart in particular doesn't even have any Power Rangers in it at all, that's how small the toy section is in that one.

While I'm talking about Power Rangers, there's no sign of those new figures either.

If I had all the monies I would get all the minicons as well as those legions two packs and the Deluxe COTF Optimus. But since I dont have all that (and I am saving up for UW Devastator once he shows up on a japan site) I will wait for the eventual liquidation. These tru exclusives always remain on the shelves, just look at the evolution 2 packs (except for the Optimus one). And even Target had a bunch of the exclusive predacon rising packs. They ended up liquidating them big time and I scooped them up, it was a great day.

On my end, I just want to be sure to not miss Devastator so I managed to peorder it from TrU. It's relatively not that expensive and I'm sure not to get hit by customs nor pay high shipping. I could have waited for a sale, but I think Devastator will be distributed like Metroplex. There will be not that many units available in stores and he will be available for a month at best. Then, cue in the insane scalper prices!

If Devastator ever end up having more units for sale, and if it enter a mad clearance price, then I may buy a SECOND set to keep him sealed.

Ultra Magnus definitely, if it goes on clearance further, the Evolution 2-Pack Grimlock and G2 YOTG Optimus, MP Star Saber, though him I know I'd have to import. I got all the wave 1 Mini-cons, though Dragonus is a pain since one of his clear accessories keeps popping off

For around $8.00 each... I dunno. I mean the accessories are cool, but the one step transformation plus no instructions to make the lion kind of kills it, so I'd say maybe. I'd recommend though if you're planning on getting the two Deployer figures or Mega Optimus

Also spoke with my friend at Hasbro yesterday. Devastator is in stock at the TRU warehouse and has a floor date of 08/01.

For most though, that doesn't mean much as most stores will put it out anyways.

My TRU still hasn't received Blackjack to "complete" my Stunticons but Wave 3 Protectobots showed.

When I got there, only a single Streetwise, Rook & Blades were left, so I was going to go as planned and just grab Rook to get the new guy, but as I was checking out I saw a First Aid behind the counter because the packaging bubble was busted open. I asked and everything was still there and Damn it..... So I picked-up First Aid as well. Seeing he was the only original I bought years back (I remember getting him at Shoppers back when they had a Toy shelf in most stores) my will power disappeared..... Oh Well.

I don't think Blackjack has even released here yet, despite being part of Wave 2 and being listed on the TRU website, albeit pretty briefly. I didn't even see him at a store that imports the figures from the States, where I'd seen Warpath and Viper recently

I'm liking the Protectobots, I'd picked up Streetwise and Blades the other week from work, at least that way Cyclonus still has limbs for Galvatronus(already had Rook and First Aid), and I can still have Superion and my girlfriends Menasor all together. Oh and First Aid was the first Protectobot I'd had too as a kid xD

Well Blackjack has been released at TRU. I didnt see him, but I did see his wave 2 mate Huffer. I guess someone took Blackjack the moment he showed up.



Interesting, for a while, TRU had nothing but wave 1 and 2 combiner wars and now it is JUST wave 3 for deluxes. They also finally got Hotspot so I used by rainheck and got him for 22$






And it looks like AOE is finally not getting restocked

Well, should be going to Walmart tomorrow so who knows maybe he'll be there. hopefully...

Happy with my Protectobot grabs, First Aid has a loose leg but nothing that stops him from standing on his own, I just wish he had something other than that axe, itjust seems off to me. Rook is simply a badass, love the wrist mounts so he can have "superfist" action. I see no regrets if I leave the rest of the team on the shelf.

Looks like my TRU had gotten Cyclonus and Hot Spot recently, and of course Hot Spot went PDQ, and I didn't even see Huffer come through my store either, since it's been nothing but Wave 1 since they were released all those months ago. No other Legends other than the RID ones have I seen at my place of work:P

I am happy with my Protectobots though, but my girlfriend needs to open her First Aid to see if he has issues too, then Cyclonus hijacks the four of them and gets his combiner form xD

RID Kre-o spotted at London Drugs of all places.

Well Devastator is on the shelves here in Ontario. Found him this morning at the Walmart on Trafalgar Rd in Oakville for the insane price of $189.97 + tax.

I'm pretty sure he was less on line but I didn't care to check. I didn't buy it because I bought my Takara one a few weeks ago (for around the same price to be honest).

I didn't take any pictures either, left my phone in the car. If it's still there on my way home from work I'll snap a few for the haters.

There is always someone who thinks that someone would lie about a sighting in the sightings thread. If it's someone new, sure I get it. Gotta prove yourself and a fwe pictures go a long way... but if it's someone who has been on the site for an extended period of time, has the previous news credits, and a high post count then they should be given a little credit. It's not a dick waving competition. It's not who saw what first. It's a place to help others find what they are looking for. Some of us post just to give others a heads up and are trying to be helpful and it seems like some people just straight up hate that.

That's cool, the TRU staff had told me he would be more of an online only thing. And good to know Walmart is keeping their word on the price.

Quebec finally has a Marshalls! This is another place like Winner s(owned by the same company) where you will get overstock at discounted prices. The only one in quebec is found in Montreal at Place Viau:

Just found Devastator at TRU whitby. Recognized the box by seeing into the shipping area saw the words Devastator on the side of the box and headed for the first TRU employee I could find. only saw one box of 2 asked for just the one. so there is still one there maybe.

Has anyone seen Viper around Ottawa? I want him something fierce but I really can't bring myself to pay 30$ for him on eBay :/ at this rate I just might though, looking pretty scarce so far!

I found one at the Walmart on Baseline and Clyde a few days ago, but they had only one. I'd have suggested maybe the Comic Book Shoppe on Bank Street since they had a lot the other month, but you'd be paying a bit more for him since they mark up the prices, but keep looking since he is out

I've been to multiple TRU's and Walmarts in the past week and i've yet to see Blackjack, Viper or Devs.

I'm hoping it's a staggered release as the TRUs have received the newer RID "blue line" releases. Package art looks great but the actual figures just don't do it for me.

That said I got my Adventures TAVVS-03 Strongarm vs ShadowJaw and Legends LG-EX G2 Black Convoy to tide me over. A3U should still have them both in stock.

I tapped and bought a retail Devastator. I had a $50 coupon at TRU so it only came to $165.00 Still a hard pill to swallow and I'm not 100% sure I like it yet.

For anyone who has the Constructicons, does your Bonecrushers hip/crotch snap together okay? I needed to put a DEATH grip on it to get it to snap together. Bonecrusher and Scavenger are the best of the six for sure, just sucks he has that tiny issue.

Bonecrushers crotch is my only main complaint. (Man, that sounded.....weird.) Pops out all the time. (Ok, now THAT sounded even weirder.) And it's really loose. (Oh man, what am I doing?)

My favs of the team are Scrapper and Hook, in spite of their elbow issues. Proportionally they just look perfect, and their headsculpts are the best.

You say that but at TRU Whalley they have the $100.00 Insecticons and Prime in the electronics section, but the $219.00 Soundwave on the regular shelf beside CW Motormaster and shelfwarming AOE large figures.

Which remind me, my TrU have the Insecticon and Soundwave sets on the regular shelves too. They too, shelfwarm becaus they are fokking ugly-ass sets that are overpriced as fok. No one is dumb enough to buy them. Not even on "sale".

I look at the Prime set tagged at over $100.00 and just think how happy I was buying that second hand RID Scourge years back for $40.00, so I have that mold with a much better decoration.
