This is a definite buy fans and I will add it to the fold...'nuff said!!

I'll probably get it and depending on colour will call it by another fembot's name.

I'm really liking what I see. The head doesn't scream "Arcee" to me but it's a great looking sculpt. I think Flareup and female Junkion would look amazing here.

I am so in. I'm excited to see PE work on a larger scale. IMO, regardless of being "Arcee" or not, this one will nail being a fun transformer. These picks do a lot for me. For all she works with the PE warriors, the scale is delicious. Also, I'm not having a problem seeing her design as feminine. I do believe, she has a deliberately cinched in waist and the face does it for me. The helmet it is a bit much though, is that due to transformation? Still if PE could put a clean face on their scouting force, I've got now worries she'll be fine.

Me too. Their smaller stuff never interested me until they did Scout Force X (Reflector). Those are amazing little guys. One of my favorite purchases, possibly ever. So I'm really pretty excited for this.

the only thing that would turn me off is plastic quality. PE is improving with every release, but still not quite FP grade yet.

Trust me, this one's taller than Energon Arcee, PE Arcee comes to Wreck-Gar's chin, Energon Arcee probably doesn't even reach his chest.

As an updated ENERGON Arcee ... okay, sure. But a G1 ish Arcee ... not quite so much. Maybe this is our first 3rd party Energon homage.

I'm in this boat.

So what do you use for your Arcee "stand-in", that small third-party one, Animated, or the original Energon Arcee? As much I admit I never cared for them before, but I did like that Animated Arcee, and I'm seriously thinking of getting one if I ever find one.Astronopolis wrote:i already have delicate warrior, so im not chomping at the bit for an arcee............

I like this figure, but not as Arcee. I've become rather smitten with IDW's feral banshee. I'm with Mkall and amcgrath929: if this comes in any colours other than pink I'll get it and name it something else. I wouldn't want this as a female Junkion though. The design is too futuristic and clean.

I may have missed the comments, but I don't recall anyone in this thread complaining about the femininity of the mold

I think he may be referring to this.(?)

Here are most of their items:

In my experience they produce high quality products. I've never had any problems and I have just about everything they've put out.

As a transformer, I like it.
As Arcee, not so much.
Depending on price, I'll probably get it, as I think it is an interesting bot, and I'm a sucker for a bike-bot. But I would probably be happier with a repaint/remold of this in Junkion colors or Cy-Kill colors, as others have suggested. Though I think TF Prime Arcee might make a better Cy-Kill.
Or maybe it IS supposed to be a Classics-style Energon Arcee.

Well, if the shoulders and the hips weren't so wide, she would have a much better silhouette, IMHO. Also a longer neck would help. Far better than the stiletto heels she already has, or than the improvements suggested above

Look at the picture of the back. It has two pistols mounted in the backpack.

And on that note... we can't seem to get a sculpt that looks like a girl in its torso. That could be Hardhead or Nightbeat just as convincingly as Arcee looking at the head and chest.
But still, it does look like a nice toy. In pink, I'm sure I'll cave and get one.
