Amazon.ca has a truly ridiculous deal right now. You may all remember the SDCC set of movie Dinobots in G1 colours. There was a Slog figure which accompanied that set and it was an Amazon exclusive. It was originally 40$ on Amazon.ca but it is now on sale for $ 9.99 CDN. This is probably the best deal on Transformers Amazon.ca has ever had.

This deep discount is probably because a similarly deco'd Slog is already part of a five set Platinum release, which is coincidentally available on amazon.com for $ 124.99 USD (from 3rd party sellers but at cheaper price than both exclusive retailers for Canada and the US).

For Americans, please don't despair, Amazon.com has good deals for you too when it comes to (once) exclusive toys, like Transformers Hasbro Platinum Edition Autobot Intell Ops Blaster & Perceptor, which is available for $ 52.99 USD.

Each of these listings either has free shipping or is eligible for Prime.

Many of you might recall that in Japan's last Transformers cartoon toy line, some of their releases eventually became quite discounted on Amazon (like Transformers Go Budora). Well this seems to be starting for their Transformers Adventure line. As of right now two fo their exclusivie rereleases, Transformers Adventures TAV 09 Swoop and TAV10 Snarl, are being sold by Japanese compaies through Amazon at the price of deluxe toys at retail (or lower). The shipping is also free and there are no taxes on importing in the US. So this is a very good deal for anyone who wanted these molds or these redecos.

Many other TAV toys are currently being sold at reasonable prices (lower than stateside importers) with free shipping such as Thunderhoof, Sharpnel, Steeljaw and Roadblock. While prices are pretty much the same you'd pay if you found these toys at retail in Japan, importing them for free means you can get these same prices without getting off your couch. The free shipping seems to only be for US adresses though.

Indeed, Amazon is a great place to pick up Takara figures. The TAV line has had some good deals on and off for some time now. I picked up Road Block, Frumbles, Swoop and Bloody Knockout at great prices just recently all with free shipping.

The legend series are on the daily stalk right now as well. The prices are still high, but some are starting to drop.

I'm still holding out for Bakudora myself.

This is the best way to see what figures are more popular. It seems to be that the toys that dont appear on the show get the bigger discount.

HTS has a price drop on most of the Generations line? The only exceptions are the CW boxed sets, CW Blades, and those items no longer in stock. It looks to be about 20%, but even the Leaders are discounted so people can now get CW Ultra Magnus for $36 American. You can pretty much tell which ones are sold out now because they are still at regular price like Shockwave, First Aid, and Air Raid.

Great new for Irish TF Fans. SMYTHS have a massive Combiner Wars Sale. All Deluxes are now €14.50 down from €21.99. Voyagers are half price €15.49 down from €31.99 and Leader classes are now €48.50 down from around €62/63. Please remember that this is a Japanese retailer and so the shipping price and importing charges (there are none in the states though) can be extra factors to consider in the final cost.

Didn't think this would be newsworthy but it's cool that it was. I'm definitely going to pick up Megatronus. Fracture, and Quillfire at that price. I was fine with Hasbro's but getting Takara's for a little less or equal to Hasbro's sounds like a pretty good deal.

It sure would be nice if an American retailer would put Transformers on sale. I got excited today because Walmart had red tags on the Transformers pegs, but all of the prices were unchanged.

I tried scanning the prices to be sure and they were still normal. The ones with the tags were Generations Legends, RID Minicons, and those self transforming RID figures. Might be worth keeping an eye on in case the prices do come down.

If only I waited!!!!!!!! I did wait for Hasbro's Magnus to go down in price and it did, so I bought it. But now this sale is here and I could have purchased Takara Magnus for the same price I paid the Hasbro version for (barring shipping, of course). AaArgh. And I feel like buying this one just not to miss out on the deal. But thats nonsensical since I already did spend my money on Mgus and this would just be spending more money. And I preffer minimus to alpha trion anyways, but still.

And I also want to buy those TAVs even though I have the hasbro ones and I dont find the takara ones all taht superior in deco.

I saw all the toy haul thread stuff after this.

I will give you an example of my own experience from 2 months ago. I ordered Victorion from Amazon with stock images/already shown off in-hand images (same as this, easily obtainable) at a very good almost too good to believe it price. It ended up being a mis-listing with 8 legends RiD guys. Burned. Same thing has happened to Shaj 3 times so far within the past few months.

I really would not trust that. If it ends up being true, awesome for you guys! But if it's the coin or a knockoff, I will not be surprised. I'd message the seller and ask about it (Asked about a Magnaboss at a great price someone said they had in beautiful condition and was using Seibertron gallery images.
